I'm building up my car but my transmission won't shift past 2nd gear (automatic)

It is the stock one and did minor work to it for now, just new cams and air filter so nothing that would cause it but the trans won't go to 2nd gear, asked my friends what they thought and no one knows why, you can hear clanking noises and feel a slight vibration

I've never seen anything like it and yes, I do have experience, not some rookie doing their first modifications to a car
