The Kia Stinger is probably the only Korean car I unironically like
It always amaze me the fact I totally love WRC's pre-event testing but I've never managed to attend one, both because I never know the places/days of these tests in advance and because they generally take place too far away from where I live. Since I learned that the final round of the 2021 World Rally Championship would be held in Monza again, ...
yes and they got their new hybrid one ready
Sounds good... Hyundai Motorsport has spent the last week developing its i20 N Rally1. Thanks to top cameraman José Arellano, DirtFish can bring you the action.

the new rally1 gen is a bit slower because of simple suspension and aero
plus the added weight of the hybrid system
Hatchbacks aren't my thing
By the summer there will be 3 pickup trucks in the driveway
Imma let you figure out why I don't like hatchbacks and compacts
I know what Dakar is
Least we can truce on something lol
haven't really seen american brands compete in dakar though
you'd think that those brands would want to compete since it's relevant to their line-up
We have the Baja 1000 right next door
Which is all the marketing we think we need
I mean a lot of competitors compete in dakar
which is a bit more international
it'd honestly be fun to see ford or someone else enter since it's been pretty monotone so far
How is everyone ones night?
choosing one of these cars is so hard for little to no reason
deadasss đ
I mean everything written there is technically true lol
Chances of injury from an overheating car, moving parts and windshield wipers are low, but not zero
Ford ofc

Yooo Nutella follows the goat as well
I wonât be surprised if latifi is sponsored by them

seems a bit early no?
probably all teams been working on the new cars even before the 2021 season
Now that 2021 is over: Would you have gone with the delay or not?
I thought 2020 was already decent considering the world end
But then F1 decided to stun us all
Iâd pick the Volkswagen
silvia forever a drifting legend

And Reddit is memeing about him unfollowing his own dog
They didn't sell many anywhere
The NC NSX is overpriced, overweight, and the only Japanese thing about it is the badge (and only if you buy it in non-Acura markets)
shit got posted on memes and shitposting, idk what was this doing there
The person who originally posted it in the wrong channel doesnât know what the other channels are they post everything in #memes-and-shitposting so I just repost them in the right channels.
I canât choose either. I love both the VW golf and Ford Focus
I mean the focus does have more trunk space
And possibly a larger engine too
Why do I see Porsche Cayenne's everywhere and why do they sell this cheap
and i'd love someone to tell me about how they deppreciated
i know anything fiat chrysler deppreciates fast af since the reliability is bad
but what about porsche panamera and cayenne?
Probably because of high production numbers
Due to that they have a bad resale value
The older Cayennes were also based on the Touareg platform which made them cheap to produce for Porsche (having borrowed a multitude of parts from VW)
Yet they were selling them at very high prices
And the Panamera was just plain ugly and didn't start selling well until prices dropped
tbh, Haas did the right thing this year. Developing that lost cause of a car for one final year before it goes to the landfill wasn't going to make things any better for them.
Yeah but no guarantee that this year would be any better.
This will be the first year where they are fully alone for the first time.
No dallara, just Ferrari.
god i want a nissan micra cabrio
Oh classic Tesla
Yeah that looks like either adhesive going loose or its actually shrinking
The former wouldnt be surprising, its tesla
The latter wouldnt be surprising, its tesla

why do people consider Murciélago the greatest lambo of all time
i dont understand its importance
I don't think many people hold that belief
I think that price goes to the miura or countach
but the murcielago just looks cool and sounds nice
lambo had lost that super wide and flat styling when they made the face-lift gallardo
mhm
i saw a donut vid
they put the murce at the top
and the fans list was similar
it's also the last ''true italian'' lambo
ah
which has that whole vibe of ''big powerful engine and cool body design''
the fans ranked the aventador #1
which is why lancer evo's could keep up with top range ferrari's and lambo's
mhm
probably the most universally known lambo
yea
it's made the brand what it is today
Huracan is 1st for me tbvfh
Cheap when depreciated, and the engine can actually be viably tuned up.
first pic looks dope
mhm
Nicknames must be able to be mentioned. Zalgo, emojis, and others are prohibited.
@jaunty tiger
Aventador's looks aged really well though, for a car nearing the end of its production cycle
I think the earliest Murcielago looked a bit derpy by the time the SV came out and the model was about to end.
By comparison, even the oldest Aventador LP700 looks fine today. The only thing that made me think the Aventador needs a replacement is looking at the cold hard fact of it being around for 10 years already.
Wouldnât that be the Diablo 6.0?
Or maybe even the generation before that one
Cause the Murci is under the Volkswagen ag reign
Greatest, eh. In some ways I could agree but imo the ones that came before it had a lot more enticing and defining things about them. Simple reasons Donut fans would choose a Lamborghini from 2002-2010 over a modern one can include the fun factor of the car, less bombarding tech, nostalgia, and a great sense of raw feeling you get from an older vehicle
Cars from the era of the Murcielago were known as the last raw modern supercars
Like the Mclaren f1, and later on the Enzo, Slr, Carrera gt, etc
These cars were lighter, most had manual transmissions, were built in a more limited production, and had the ability to kill you easier than their successors
These factors on top of nostalgia create the perfect era for car enthusiasts who want a fairly modern vehicle but not the cars of today with 58 inch screens and a mode for every single little thing
The murcielago is an extremely important Lamborghini but if I had to choose Iâd go for the much older ones
My favorite new one in the line up is the HuracĂĄn evo, the aventador is amazing but it can be hindered by its single clutch paddle setup and the thing feels as long as a pickup truck, itâs truly a party float of a supercar
The Huracan is the tiny more go kart designed one, and the na v10 is a great sound even with the two cylinders cut off compared to the flagship
Itâs importance in terms of how great it was as a car is subjective but majority rules itâs a beautiful fricken thing to exist. But the objective explanation to why the murcielago specifically was so important for Lamborghini was that it was the first car they ever sold in mass numbers, enough to keep the company afloat for the first time in its life. Lamborghini for the majority if its existence has been a struggling brand passed on and sold from parent company to parent company, but when Volkswagen bought every single car company on the planet back in 1998, the failing exotic cars under their belt started pickup up traction
In sales, and in a literal sense
Because the murcielago is awd
Putting a turbo in that thing is sacrilege, unless you are making it some ridiculous drag car. And out of all mass produced supercars, the HuracĂĄn doesnât even really depreciate much at all.
Who says turbo?
Say a new one is $240k. The lowest itâll go is 180k after like 9000 miles and 5 years
Idk people can be forced induction happy
But Lamborghiniâs with a turbo annoy me and make me angry boopity boppity
Expect for the urus cause that thing is an Aztec with a Q8rs chassis
Drives fucking amazing though I canât hate it xD
If someone slapped one on a daily HuracĂĄn Iâd wanna see them eat Play-do
Okay

If the car was meant for one idc, I like forced induction but the two cars I never wanna see a turbo on are Lamborghinis, and Mclaren f1âs
I would genuinely be pissed if I saw a Mclaren f1 with any form of forced induction
I like how all the jdm cars handle turbos because the engines are built to withstand .50 cals
But anybody who puts 1000hp in either a supra, skyline, or whatever isnât going to have fun with it
Overpowered cars are just stupidly undrivable, you can be a god and the thing will still feel like shit
If you have that much power in something like that you really only have two options
Drift or drag
gotcha
you actually explained this perfectly
Thanks đ sorry if it was long I just really like Lamborghini lol
I have an almost irrational hatred of the Huracan
It looks like a bland and boring shapeless blob to me
The F1 is basically the definition of "perfection" for naturally-aspirated cars
I agree
The R8 looks miles better
And then they facelifted the 2nd-gen R8 and it looks kinda dumb now
Exactly
And then its Lambo clone actually looked slightly better than before with the Performante
It's still a blob, but at least it's an improvement while Audi ruined the R8
I wish Audi didnât discontinue the V8 models of the R8
Iâm pretty sure itâs only V10 now
V8 + gated manual transmission
Personally I think dual clutch is the best thing that ever happened to sports cars, but that is indeed
Meanwhile, the aventador which is still a single clutch:
Meanwhile, the Nissan GT-R has been using dual-clutch since 2007.
It has reliability issues in the early years, but still.
Was there really any other sports cars using dual-clutch at the time?
AFAIK nothing on the level of the GT-R. VW had been using it on the Golf R32 for some years, but that's a hot hatch.
Interesting
Oh, apparently the Veyron has it first.
But that's a French-badged VW supercar so it makes sense, given the Golf R32.
I mostly meant the way they were constructed
big engine, cool body but little regard to track performance or comfort
I wouldn't trust a vette going 60
Is Kia Stinger the mustang of koreans?
koeran?
sorry for the obvious typo đ
i think thats the spirra

@mint plank can an M1A1 abrams shoot a moving Mercedes W12?
Lets assume its average speed for both vehicle
Range?
The abrams can hit targets from a mile out. While moving at full speed. Over hilly terrain. While the target is moving at full speed
So in short? The stabilised automated browning would get the job done in the 2 seconds it takes them to bring the gun to bear
M1a1? Piece of cake
M1A2SEPV3? They wouldn't even need to wake the Commander from his nap
lets say Merc has 1 minute advantage range wise
Can a merc travel 3.5km from a standing start in 60s?
Actually, yes
considering that they can do 5km in 1 minute and 19 seconds or so
and not in straight line
Well then the abrams would a) need its best gunnery crew,
B) simply kick back, drink booze while the f1 cars engine exploded from the straight line running in fear
Or
C) it ran out of gas
B/C = casual stroll to the W12 and a point blank 120mm shot with the tip of the barrel touching the driver's nose
@ocean rock

You do realize that F1 engines can run full burn for 90 mins right
its that efficient now
An f1 race is 305km
An abram has a 426Km tank, not including external rack stores @ocean rock

You see that back space? Lots of juicy space to slap couple dozen jerry cans or Half dozen 44 gallon drums of fuel @ocean rock
Ic
Hell in a non contested environment they might just perk up on the back with an AGM-176 Griffin and hit the w12 from 20km out@ocean rock
Im sure a w12 can't do 20km in 60s

kek

what
if it's a purple lamborghini with golden wheels and stanced to the point where it can't ride over an ant without scraping, sure
and while the term ''avant garde'' should only be reserved for a few cars, most of them follow contemporary styling rules anyway
whether it's a third generation polo or a gallardo
What do you mean

what car is this?
looks like a civic and an eclipse combined
year? exact model?
i believe 95/97
aight thx
if you could buy 1 of the 2 cars shown
what would it be and why
Obviously the bmw.
Audi was still learning when it came to making nice looking performance stuff, bmw was at its peak around that generation
Bmw but people would call me a turk lmfao
BMW because the audi has a door i wont use
that door being
looks like a honda but idk
Honda City maybe
yea its a honda city
City and Lancer used to be popular in India especially amongst the car enthusiasts
yea ive noticed
Opinions on the Lexus GS?
That specific model year, or in general?
general
It's a pretty meh luxury car, like all long wheel base Lexus sedans, outdated interior, but good toyota reliability
it has its ups and downs
The new ones are pretty comfy
they updated the exterior nicely but the interior is still lagging years behind something like mercedes or even non luxury cars
But problem with Merc or any other german manufacturer is that they over engineer their cars with features and gimmicks which in turn leads to failures and reliability issues
looks nice especially the new ones imo
By outdated interior I'm talking about mainly the convenience factor of their infotainment and tech. Lexus for an unreasonable amount of time has had buggy outdated infotainments and lackluster interior layouts for a criminally long amount of time.
not even a touch screen, a car from this decade or the later half of last decade needing to be controlled on a buggy ass trackpad in the center is ridiculous
even the most basic cars get it right, why couldn't they
I mentioned Mercedes because their MB-UX systems are the best in the industry
but literally everything in the price range does better than Lexus in interior layout and convenience of tech
even cars not targeted in Luxury markets have more responsive items
I kinda agree to that lexus has an outdated interior but they generally they do not have any problems regarding reliability or any other issue.
Because they are Toyota's
it's just a given that they will last forever lol
It's why I wanna look for an is300 soon
but used cars are a bitch so i'm just waiting for the right one
Lets say u wanna purchase now and use it for 5 years
After that if u wanna sell it,no one would like to buy a 3rd hand car....
I've never heard that in my life, people will buy literally anything.

it would be more like 5th or 6th hand car probably
Its resale value will dramatically reduce
is's from that generation have hit their rock bottom
they don't go lower than what they are

you must be referring to a luxury car from like 2012-2016 where is still has room to go down and it hasn't reached the mileage where it becomes unattractive
5
well isnt that the same with the e46 in that case
Hm?
the E46 M3 is a 2 door
Iâm not sure how remu got the assumption itâs a 3 door
Please stop calling anything in the rear, boot trunk hatch whatever, a door
It's like saying a car has five wheels because of the spare wheel
*8
The steering wheel is also a wheel
And the 2 wheel to control fan and temperature is also a wheel
Wait no
9, volume wheel
Actually a sedan has 6 doors
The 4 doors for the passengers and driver
Plus the hood and trunk
+Fuel door
Fuck, yessss
Smh of course I'll sit in the trunk or in the hood

Also. Volume dial not wheel
Nah, wheel kek
No

Does Mercedes still make mil spec G wagons?
As in no breakable luxury stuff and just offroad functionality?
Honestly what upsets me the most is that most G Wagon clients will most likely never take their cars off road
U still want functionality from a G wagon?
Well weren't those the best in the off road segment?
No
I know they were very capable back when they released
Going on very steep angles and such
During the war maybe
The merc engineers took the damn thing everywhere
So those aren't as good for offroad anymore?
Check up to speed channel for it
I did check it sometime ago
But never mentioned anything how the g wagon got downgraded in capability
I just know that now it's a luxury vehicle
U want a comfy suspension for your rich buyers
Didnt they also do that with the military ones?
So other off road cars are now waaaay more advanced compared to this.
Right so there are better options, that's clear but I always liked this one for some reason
Well mostly the exterior
bet the interior has the same sterile plastic mercedes loves to do now
It can off road still but nothing fancy
oh god
Why does mercedes just bolt on tablets and call them dashboards
It looks unnatural
Yeah but come on, less luxurious brands get the dashboards right
As in, you know cars with gauges have them more in depth so the sun doesnt shine on them right?
Well they do the same thing with digital ones
Where as mercedes just slaps a tablet
To me not only does it look inaesthetic but will probably glare a lot from the sun, unless it's that kind of anti glare glass
Mercedes want you to know that your car is a ticking timebomb electronics-wise
I don't like the current design trend of the center infotainment screens
Just not blending them into the dashboard at all, they just stick out
I like the new grand wagoneerâs interior
I think the screens blend in the dashboard
It kinda does
america is finally making good interiors :D
that wood trims are my weakspot i have to admit
The jeep interiors really improved tbh
Thats a Cadillac, its always good
I mean the Grand wagoneer is like 6 figures for a decent one
The new grand Cherokee, grand wagoneer, etc
Oh my Lord
We got a grand Cherokee as a loaner car while my mom's actual car was in for maintenance
Interiors with cheap plastic is no more. I hope
looks like a desk, i like that
Which Honda is that, odyssey?
I hope we don't get rid of physical knobs and what not for the AC and Radio
Yeah
Imagine if the screen somehow failed and stopped turning on đ
Yeah screens are getting pretty fast now
Doesnt run windows
But it would still take longer then just pressing a button and twisting a knob
Legit imagine if Microsoft actually try to do x86 compatible entertainment system for cars
i wish this lincoln didnt have that tablet bolted on the dash
Yeah
Microsoft Auto
I hate that sort of design
Thought so
It just sticks out
wait what? that's honda e
SoCal artist would appreciate it too lmao
Just run clip paint on their cars
In the middle of the traffic jam
Ye
Its only Honda E for now
But if it flops, itll deadass be on every cars to recoup the cost
Anyone remember when this was the screens in Audiâs
Can the speedometer style be changed
Because that is absolutely hideous
probably
but i think you're not focusing enough of how bad the rest looks
the tablets man
Eh, its pretty entry-level luxury
I wanna be able to glance at the speedo to see my speed, not fully focus on it
but like people say the e class w211 was the last well engineered merc
My dad had similar doors in his CLK
I'd hope so given the badge on the front of the car
the new ones are uh
are playing too safe
that's my consensus on modern day mercedes
The W124 500e is my idea of luxury
Basic (because of the era)
But enough to satisfy most
i like how jeep wants to make each model be it's own sub brand
with unique letters inside and styling characteristic only to that model
I don't know too much about Jeeps
All I know is that my friend had a Renegade and it was an absolute nightmare
renegade is the cheapest right?
Believe so
honestly if you aint getting a wrangler you aint getting a true jeep
or a gladiator eventually
but fiat chrysler scares me
Ignition problems are the most common
That's true
Chrysler isn't exactly known for their build quality
jeep renegade seems like a good package and it looks nice but god knows what issues it might have
to be fair i could have considered this to recommend to my parents but i dont want them to buy something notorious for issues
so yeah we are settling for a corolla sedan
Someone on my street had an older Crossfire SRT6
Good idea
When it went in for a service, the mechanic said the underside looked like that of a 20 year old car
like i said ive been in one and it's really really good
even for the cheapest version
honestly i wish we could save more months but mom wants a new car asap
because apparently our dacia can't take more
Mom, that shit aint breaking smh
Toyota probably won't break fast either
yeah exactly why i told them about that
i do wish we could have just saved more for like a year or so and get a rav 4
but this can suffice well enough
I like the Rav 4
The Corolla would probably get way better gas mileage anyway
i wonder why stellantis wouldnt just begin making their cars reliable
is it like an unspoken rule of specific manufacturers being shit or what
in what way?
Well, Maserati for instance; they were never the most reliable car manufacturer
But the trend of them being absolutely atrociously unreliable has been carried on
Oh of course that's why I saw a literaly 2002 quatroporte for 16k
jeep have a very cool aesthetic especially here in europe
since most white girls dont buy jeeps unlike usa
but if only...
they were reliable
big sigh
I'd do a lot to own a wrangler rubicon
god i love the wrangler
also just a piece of mind, to think how iconic and off road jeep is regarded as here
people sometimes call SUV's just jeeps
of course they aint into cars but they know Jeeps are big, capable and just off road looking
Over here Land Rover has a big presence
Not as much as it used to
Because some of the newer models are shit
Like the new Discovery for instance
where are ya?
England
because im in romania, the land of volkswagens
ahhh makes sense
why does jaguar have an suv when you can get a land rover though
That's a good point
i know there's this obscure segment called muscle suvs
cayenne, macan, urus, stelvio, etc. etc.
but like why
i never understood this category
I never understood quick SUVs
I suppose its because people have families or whatever
well miss karen has to get their kids to school faster innit
Fr
this reminds me how at one point we were going to get a suzuki suv or whatever
but then they got the new model of the sx4 cross
and boy does it suck
Oh yeah, my mum was gonna get a Vitara
they basically downgraded the infotainment only for the first 2 trims
god damn it
so yeah we just stuck to toyota
Good call
just sucks that i cant convince mom to just save more to get something even better and worthy of a medic
but then again corolla is cool asf
love the styling on it
especially for an econobox
It does look really good
Its pretty cool how the tables have turned, Toyota making good looking cars would've been laughable in the early 90s
Of course you had the A70 Supra and whatnot
mfw they made a corolla cross
But the corolla back then was this
Actually now that I look at it I kinda like it
Mini Lexus LS400
damn you can connect your corolla to the app to see consumption and such
novelty features like this always make a car
that reminds me of that saab that had the parking brake flush into the design
some weird ass cup holder contrapton
and some really cool looking vent
RIP Saab
i mean scandinavian design still lives on with volvo
it's now mostly manufactured in china but also in europe so yeah
the chinese models are actually the same though
Some of the newer Volvo's are really good looking too
this reminds me how dad really wanted a chrysler then i only told him now that chrysler's literally dead in europe
The only Chryslers you see over here are the Crossfire and 300C
300C and Pacifica are like the only ones still made
also why did the british automotive industy flop so hard and get sold to foreign investors
heard the build quality was the reason
I believe it was, yeah
Car companies like Rover genuinely made some good cars though
They didn't sell all that well
The Rover 75 for instance
Its pretty ugly but it had some great luxury features for its time
broooo i used to see this back when i lived in a city, in the parking
Pretty common because they're one of the only reliable Rovers
Believe so
i would be too if i had the steering wheel on the right side đ
đ„¶
yall liking the new brz?
I like it quite a bit
Wonder if they're going to sell it with a turbo option this time
as german as they come
BRZ default colour is blue btw
like half the models are made in the netherlands and the rest the UKs bmw factory
it's also owned by bmw
Also yeah I wonder why VW doesnt bring back the Beetle to compete with mini....again
they did bring it back
wasn't a success
the beetle's styling doesn't carry over well in current contemporary styles
and volkswagens are mostly bought for the polo and golf, which are superior cars in every imaginable way
something which sold very well is the fiat 500
though fiats are awful cars
do you think the 124 is bad?
at the time it was alright
but fiats models since the 80s have gone downhill
i love alot of fiat cars, but i could see why you dont care for them
is the 500 really that bad
outdated tech, low quality materials and bad reliability
they do have a nice aesthetic, it's just I'd never drive them daily
although they're mostly meant for that
it's not a good car, for the same price you can buy a peugeot, toyota or vw which are more reliable and have better tech
but they don't look as polished as the 500
panda still looks like shit
wish we had peugeot in the us
Yeah they're great cars
but they focus on the european market, which is small hatchbacks and medium saloons, so they wouldn't sell well in the US
Americans on their way to find new ways of butchering the pronunciation of Peugeot
also no one in the us knows how to pronounce citroen/peugeot or any of their models
Bro it's pejo đ
I saw two old beat up Citroenâs in the city they were really shot but it was cool to see them in the wild
They donât exist here
My friend who isnât crazy into cars was wondering why I was excited and jumping like I just saw a Lamborghini
there are people who pronounce peugeot in a spanish way
heresy
I see them every day
there are like 5 in my bloc
piugio, poojo, what the FUCK
honestly this is a really nice car
Peugeot styling is awesome now
Love the headlights
And the green details
Making grey cool again
I'm terrible at putting pronunciation into texts
I mean the rcz from the blob headlight era wasn't bad either
Way too long Import laws are the worst thing to curse this earth
the 208
This looks cool
But Iâll never see it
it's like a french eclipse
So we don't like importing long cars
Looks like a moustache frenchman on his way to committ some baboonery
dare I say some tomfoolery
there is one peugeot I see every single day
in the same exact spec
and they're all different ones
But we make this shit on the daily
Thatâs so cute
swedish imported volvo wagon
Small cars here look hideous like that honda thing
the beat?
Small cars here look out of place
The fact that SUVs basically killed wagons
citroen is overlooked btw
Iâm in a city/urbanburb no cars is in or out of place
v60 still goin strong
Hell yeah
Found it
Oh guys wanna hate life for a quick sec? Look at these prices from a 2007 catalogue
YO A 964 FOR âŹ33
hot
That NSX today would be top spec
sucks it's auto only
That's the best part
Fuck manual stupid transmission
A note that some European countries use comma to define decimals and dot to separate thousands
That includes Italy
Euros only go as far as cents
Ye I know
tiptronic < manual < auto
Auto is alright in cars like the A70 Supra Turbo
These are cars that are almost impossible to find with a manual transmission
Tiptronic still best
dogbox
yaaaa
What are hoodbras for?
Tiptronic tops both because it allows for both
Yes
just cause you can't operate a third pedal that it means its stupid, you are lad

The only time I could see a manual being more of a nuisance than fun is either a packed city with lots of stops and red lights/bumper traffic. Or if the car is so advanced a manual would hinder it over their duel clutch, like Porscheâs pdk and anything over $150,000
Iâm getting an auto most likely 99% for two reasons. The car I want in manual is double the price than in auto, I could swap it for less if I really needed to in the future. Two is that if anybody else like my parents need it itâs best to just have something that canât be screwed up
I mean that's why automatics have become the norm
they're simply easier and more convenient to use for every-day driving
unless you live in alaska or something
if I had the money, before manuals completely disappear I want to drive a manual cayman GT4
Yeah the PDK is great but a manual on a track toy
manual will still exist for more niche performance cars in the future
until all cars become electric
Probably gonna buy an automatic Supra GT 3.0 when I sell my current car
They go for like $6000 at times
Lmao I just realised Chevrolet stopped existing in Romania in 2013. And in europe in general
I cant believe I was this out of touch
nothing of value was lost tbh chevrolet is kinda bland
i understand it's importance in the US but here in europe
nahhh
although I wish Dodge was in europe
especially since it's under Stellantis
same with Chrysler
I wish those two would come back
i mean i dont know if dodge was ever in europe but you get me
the better BMW shoe
nope
their line-up would suck in europe
i mean totally but who wouldnt love a challenger
europe doesn't really have muscle car culture
people prefer hatchbacks and german sedans
i guess but i'd honestly get a challenger with whatever engine but just for the shape
or maybe just sell it under an already existing brand for europe lmao
ford did enter europe, but they mostly sell the fiesta here
which is made in germany
i mean ford is just an economy brand
well
in a way
for some reason they still use silver plastic
THAT SHIT SHOULD HAVE STAYED IN THE 2000'S
i feel like fords are a bit highly priced for what they are
they are
well the Fiesta is fairly priced but that's all
wait no
it's 16k good god
that shit should be like 13k or so
I mean there
you can hardly get a new car for 16K eu here
some shitty fiat with no options
I mean here you get Dacia or Dacia
they aint bad honestly
best budget brand imo
literally grew up with one
dacia's lineup is always under 20k
as for skoda it never felt like a budget brand
for me the best budget brands are dacia and suzuki
we were going to get a suzuki at one point, the SX-4 Cross, the previous model but now they butchered it with the facelift
so yeah we ended up settling for the corolla sedan, cheapest trim since it feels premium asf
cheaper option to most bmw/merc/audi and volvo
corolla is great
so skoda is like the mazda of europe if you put it like that?
I know mazda perpetuates the idea of affordable luxury
also skoda might be czech in name and such but ever since it got bought it's just VW's
I mean they get all the good parts so I can't complain
im pretty sure at one point the superb was just a passat through and through
so yeah that's why Im just categorising it as german
same as seat and etc.
is it just me or should the ford focus RS be brought back @ocean rock
They really should
i would 100% buy one and rally spec it
The game is stuck loading story mode Won't load in please please help
anyone who owns the Auto Shop in Burton please send me a friend request on PSN please. Thanks username is same as psn id
am i the only one who wants this
Silver would look great on that
The Eunos Cosmo has a crazy interior for the early '90s
@main cosmos @mint plank @uncut saddle @dry sage TIL french named an entire tank model after an F1 Driver
Char Leclerc

@ocean rock
Yes and?
Philippe François Marie Leclerc de Hauteclocque (22 November 1902 â 28 November 1947) was a Free-French general during the Second World War. He became Marshal of France posthumously in 1952, and is known in France simply as le marĂ©chal Leclerc or just Leclerc.
The son of an aristocratic family, Hauteclocque graduated from the Ăcole spĂ©ciale mili...

lmao
Wow
THAT
Is just cocky.
Youre the titanic designer saying "this is an unsinkable ship" with that teaser, merc
I really want this car
https://www.motorauthority.com/news/1131712_glickenhaus-007s-hypercar-revealed-with-1-400-hp-estimated-sub-6-00-ring-time
The road legal version of this car can already lap Nurburgring in under 6 minutes
Sadly, this car is probably more expensive than a Lambo Huracan
Gotta recoup the loss of being a conservative in a heavily progressive sport

Maybe Jim Glickenhaus is right to think that his brand is worth more than Ferrari brand
Atleast ferrari actually have the drive to innovate
Glickenhaus have none of that. He just wanna reminisce.
If that's true, then his brand will be worth more than Lambo brand too
But you have a point though, Jim wants to live in the old glory days of racing
Living in the old glory days is probably a huge reason why they're last place in the hypercar category at Le Mans
If Ferrari builds a Le Mans hypercar, I'm sure it'll have high chances of dominating Le Mans, Daytona and Sebring
Innovation and development are important in races and having none of those will not win the race.
Yes but that spirit flies to the face of competition
As you say so, none of those will win the race.
Like by this stage theyre so conservative in WEC, Glick might as well propose to get sponsored by The Heritage Foundation and PragerU
At first, I thought Glick didn't build a hybrid hypercar because his funding for the race is not big
At least someone in the livestream chat said that Glick's funding wasn't as big as Toyota's funding
He has enough to outsource.
And because of the car's RWD drivetrain and heavy engine(heavier than the Toyota's hybrid engine) at the back, his drivers need to counter-steer more often than Toyota's drivers while being slower too
I think someone in the Glick's livestream chat during the race said that their decision to use pure ICE twin-turbo engine makes them awesome
Yeah but you know what also feel and sound awesome? Snorting coke
He's being illogical.

Hmm...
dont ask
Slightly shorter... what are we gonna call those "aero-fenders" over the wheels?
Pointier nose, elongated to match the front wing.
More triangular side intakes.
Rounder + deeper (?) rear wing?
Iâm very interested to see how the drs will work on the new cars
My guess is that they'll cut the middle piece.
And make that one movable.
Would this wing have been any good, btw?
That placement reminds me of the Enzo FXX
uhm
My bike got stolen âčïž
ah that sucks
but as this is an international server, I don't think we can do anything for you
Orang
Which would you guys prefer in a race, driving the highest class car while having the last class position or driving the lowest class car while having the first class position?
Oh
And if I'm not mistaken, having 1st class position is still a win or achievement even if the overall position is not 1st, right?
pohyi
This looks like a fucking roblox car
it is
đż
people consistently winning at lower classes will receive contracts to go to higher ones
hence why it's mostly a ladder system
of course there are privateers and garage teams as well
Privateers can jump to higher classes?
Yes, but no because it's insanely expensive
Oh well, I guess it will take a lot of time for me to reach my dream of joining a 24h race at least đ
I mean you can be very wealthy and buy a gt3 am team
I'm not really a multi-millionaire so nope
Chances are you could probably afford it more than I do
lets be real
as unreliable as Fiats may be, we can all agree that this hatchback would conquer the tuner community
eh personally don't like the punto
My fav fiats are just 500 tbh
No
I'd say the new Peugeot Hatches would
BUT
people have this stupid stigma over french cars
Muh unreliability issues
Most of this shit was on a few models of Opels or others
Specifically easytronic transmissions
But they are all good now
Hell Renault was good even in the 2000's when french cars were considered super faulty
How do I know this? Our 2007 Dacia Logan MCV never needed any engine repairs.Only proper maintanance.
It's always kids on tik tok that never experienced a french car that say NEVER OWNING A FRENCH CAR
Peugeot's been killing it with those headlights
opel is deutsch
Oh shit
I keep uh confusing that
Since they are in the PSA
I just automatically assume it's french
Del Sol : D
