Then we have the Hyundai getz driver's because the wife said to get a fuel efficient car

Yet another case of great exterior/terrible interior spec
what's wrong with the interior
it looks well kept
very well kept
i hope you weren't expecting some tan or red interior from a base model 987
i'd take this
it's got the stick and all
It's gray
Whoever walks into a Porsche dealership and asks for gray instead of black or any other interior color is mentally ill
hideous
Makes your interior look like a 90's Toyota
đ€ grey bothers you but not black?
black and grey are on the bottom of porsche's pricing structure
people just picked it because it was cheap and easy to care for
Yes, black interiors age gracefully, gray interiors do not
Also black interior pairs well with virtually any exterior color
the 987's interior ages the same no matter what colour it is
it's just an ugly, utilitarian interior
you'd have a point if it were some other car, but the 987 interior being grey doesn't make me feel anything different than if it were black
ofc it's utilitarian, it's a modern Porsche
But it aged well, because they didn't do weird shit to it, so it will always look good in the right color (not gray)
i found a 10 hour video of a guy trying to run down a full fuel tank in his fd3s by lapping c1

but why
why would you drive in a circle for ten hours
to scientifically find out your fuel consumption i guess...
it was so funny seeing a Honda civic pass him like theyâre Verstappen
when theyâre probably going like 50mph too
keep the popup lights down maybe the vid will be another hour longer
ignition requires energy, there's less energy when it's cold. While lower temperatures are ideal of electrical transfer, electrochemical processes still require environmental energy (heat) to start. At times, it can be too cold for the battery to function properly. Oil also thickens at lower temperatures. This increases friction, necessitating more kinetic energy for the engine to turn
maybe think about purchasing more winter-proof materials, or finding ways to insulate certain parts of your car. Do consult a mechanic on either matters
itâs an obvious Volvo ripoff lmao
Wtf did they do to the CRV
look at how they massacred my boy
you say it's a massacre, but the CRV otherwise looks the best it's ever looked
the volvo lights are unfortunate(and not even bad looking) but the rest of the car is actually really nice looking
this is coming from someone who doesn't like the CRV or this class of vehicle as a whole
volvo's cars continue to still be good looking
they're close to overdoing it, but for now its ok I like the volvo design language
i like my volvos not too sharp edged
yeah this take
they're good looking for now, im not too sure i dig the current Polestar/Volvo cars but they're still not to bad
i like them
they straddle the line between looking minimalistic and techy that lucid and tesla went too far into, and the current boxy conventional volvo design language they've had for the past twenty years which i've always liked
agreed
HRV has better looks than the CRV

theres a small ev display in the mall, every cheap ev I sit in, the floor is so damn high I sit with my knees up, these cars are no good for passengers lol, especially long trips
The only difference is the plate
u like it
I guess
took an engine pic of my old car, kinda amazed it still runs with the neglect I give it
Fords big body on frame vehicles are usually pretty long lasting
The others though, no comment
xD
Looks fine
it looks fine but theres some underlying problems slowly eating it , some slow oil leak
This is what my dad and I are supposed to be working on
always wondered if inline engines are easier to work on since the sides are more spacious by default
and then theres my volvo which has a ford engine, where the exhaust + turbo is on the inside instead of the front
Compared to the V6 that that car also came with its definitely easier

Which would y'all have if you get to choose only one, a brand new Ferrari or a brand new Tesla performance car?
And I wonder if Enzo Ferrari is still better than Elon Musk in car industry
Depends on what you define as better
If itâs the only car I can have then Tesla
Ferrari wonât be practical for every day use
Maybe more respectable I guess
If I live in a non-car centric country, I would pick Ferrari because I can keep it and take a train or bus when not using it
Enzo Ferrari wasn't a very well-liked person
Thatâs not the point of the question
That answer sidesteps most of these hypothetical questions anyway
Ruins the fun
I'd probably pick the tesla
I can if it's a Ferrari that's making that noise
Dope.
why is this even a question
youâre comparing a sub $100k car to literally Ferrari
I will haul groceries in an 812 competizione idc
I don't even like the modern Ferrari cars but I would pick one over ANY Tesla in a heartbeat
pick ferrari, sell it for an i20 and have enough for a house downpayment
Anyone who would choose a free Tesla over a free Ferrari is a special level of braindead
I would pick a BMX over ANY Tesla in a heartbeat.
What cars yâall own?
I just hate Ferrari more than I hate tesla
Wha
But how?
It's one of the few supercar companies that still cares about build quality
A Tesla is an electric economy car, I honestly in no way see their comparison the original question is a weird one
It's kinda like saying what would you rather have a Bentley Flying Spur or a 1 of 1 Pagani Zonda
There is a right answer and a weird answer
Because technically it can't be a wrong answer
Ferrari has some dull sounding cars but simultaneously make some of the best sounding cars on the planet
812, 458, 599, f12, La Ferrari, any old carburetor ones
I was never even a big fan of Ferrari I'd want a Huracan, but they still make excellent cars
id definitely rather have an 812 competizione aperta finished in rosso mugello in our current apartment than sell it and buy a house
Would you rather
a new bmw 7 series
or THE black mclaren P1
the one that was tested in Bahrain and yas marina all those years ago
The company, not the cars
I have no issue with the cars themselves
i still think tesla inc. âąïž pty. co. is still worse as a company than Ferrari are

liked the G80 in the first place
unless you meant the Genesis G80
i actually prefer the M8 Gran Coupe over the coupe
I like everything about it except the front end
but I prefer the coupe over the gran coupe, itâs just more⊠âsleekâ looking
Does anyone know this Lamborghini model?
Thank you
I saw it a while back and have been looking for a while
that's two different cars lmao
car
YOU SAW IT?
lmfao
first time i ve met someone that saw a veneno
It was pretty rad ngl
Oh cool
half of those are hidden and most on showrooms
lucky
Isnât it worth likeee 4 million
both nice
Yeah I guess it was a nice car
actually this would make a massive reddit post so im about to do that
its def not a veneno
looks like a replica
i posted it on reddit, lets see
someone said it was a veneno
i said it wasnt and sent a photo
most likely a replica
Idk what this thing is
But it isn't a Lamborghini
Then what is it
It kinda looks like Veneno but its more likely a replica
It had a veneno roar to it
Like that engine wasnât a weak one
It was an iphone7
An original Blackberry takes better photos
Does the front not look too narrow to be a true Veneno?
The cars dimensions look similar to a veneno but they don't seem to really match
Also it has an extra pair of lights
So what could it be
The front is very slanted which is common for kit cars
You said this car wasn't in a city or dense area
It wasnât like cardboard it wasnât fake it was a real brand car
Itâs in Milwaukee
There are only about 5 that get driven
I said not a BIG city
In the world
Conflicting information regarding how many were in the US, I'm seeing 3 and 4
it's very clearly not a veneno anyways, i think those with eyeballs can agree
the reddit post landed on it beeing a poorly made veneno replica
That was my conclusion as well
since is vaguely resembles it but doesn't look like one
At the end of the day, it is an ugly looking bodykit for an adventador, the other limited Lamborghini's are cooler
the veneno is just kinda the rarest and that is all it has going for it
the reventon and sesto elemento are much cooler cars
co-pilot AI didn't know either
They done brought a Karin sultan to the car showđ
thats a pretty nice lexus
i rarely see them here much less on a bodykit
actually nvm
rainguards made the car worst
Some of the other cars present, just for reference
I would love to figure out what that red car next to the cobra is but I can't
big sniffer
I was genuinely considering getting an is300 but the prices got stupidly high between the exact time period I was interested in them
people wanted 10 fucking grand for an automatic with high miles
and manuals simply did not exist for sale
when they did, they sold for almost 20k
But yea the 2001-2005 gen looks really nice it would have been a cool first car
đ
Both are goofy looking
And the sf90 doesn't handle all that well compared to the cheaper f8 and 296 tbh
I dislike both so I would choose whichever one costs the most
wdym sf90 xx handles really well
not the sf90 stradale
1 minute 17.3 seconds
I bet the track focus and extra downforce helps but the base car is just not really as fun as your more bare bone Ferraris
fiorano lap time
Idk why that is since the 296 is also a hybrid and it a nice car to drive
it probably is
I've never driven a sf90xx though that's like rare rare I assume
I really like the 488/f8 but the 458 is absolutely the best on sound
nothing tops the last truly mechanical ferrari the 599 gto tho
I consider the 599xx downshifts one of the best sounding things of all time
The engine itself is definitely in most peoples top 5/top 10 of all time I hope
it has a sequential no?
defo
I think it might
Honestly I wouldn't be surprised is the 599xx had the flappy paddle f1 auto
Since back in that era Ferrari put that in everything
I gotta admit I don't really hate the 12 cilindri spider, like I get what they are reminiscent on the inspiration from the Daytone is there, but it just does not compare to the looks of an f12/812 by any metric
the 812 is truly a different machine
The cilindri would be a cool "20 out of 20" multi million dollar limited one
Like the j50 or f60
But as a normal model it seems odd
but ferrari already makes too many of those
imo the sp3 daytona should be mass produced
The sp3 would have been a cool La Ferrari successor but I don't think there was enough differentiation between the two to consider it as such
The sp3 couldn't have been mass produced but it could have been extended to at most maybe like 400-500 cars
Ferrari doesn't mass produce mid engine v12's. The v12's are only meant for their tourer front mid engine cars nowadays
For decades every mid engine v12 they made was a big deal type of car so it would be a hard cycle to break
yea but with all these emission law i think theyre run is coming to an end
for instance huracan's successor is revealed to be a v8 hybrid
like an artura
Which is crazy because with how low production v10's and v12's are they don't do a jack smidge to the environment at all. These cars are so rare and on top of that they only ever get driven 1000-3000 miles a year on the high ranges
emission laws are dumb
Every bugatti produced since the early 1990's COMBINED has produced less emissions than the amount of Toyota corolla made with the span of a single day have made
It is just scales
There aren't a million Bugattis
its about mass on a whole
Exactly
and the vw group especially surely can find a loop hole
If you produce less than 10,000 of a vehicle for the entire world you should have very lax emission laws, just the modern basics to not spew unnecessary noxious chemicals.
If you only produce less than 1000 then it shouldn't have to go through anything but safety testing
Like durability and crashing etc
exactly
Honda makes as many civics in a day as Ferrari has made cars, ever
1948 to now
I spewed that out my ass but I'm probably right
Lmao
It's probably even 2x
Anyone saying we need to get rid of supercars to save the planet is a premium level lobotomy patient
Like look at all the concrete china is wasting
That damages the environment more than and car ever did
And they have no idea how lithium is mined for producing a single ev
Rip the Lamborghini v10 if that shit goes I'm buying a Huracan before they skyrocket
The gt3rs handles better but the Huracan makes for a better road car
2 extra cylinders didn't kill anyone... I love v8's but v10's belong in entry level Lamborghini's
It is bread and butter
It just works
V10's acoustically are my favorite since you get basically an echo'd choppy 5 cylinder
The 5 cylinder in it of itself is a pretty modern invention
It was near impossible to slap a carburetor on a 5 cylinder layout so they only became a mass produced thing after fuel injection
Long live
458 speciale or 488 pista I ask you this because I believe you've driven both
I never drove the special ones and the 488 gtb was only for a few minutes
They are both very beautiful but I'd lean towards the 458 because naturally aspirated and such
The gtb is still 662 horsepower so only about 50 something less than the pista and newer ones
It's lighter as well
For an almost 10 year old car it's pretty modern
We stagnated it seems
2000 cars in 2012 felt ancient
Now some 2012 cars today feel like new
The Ferrari's? I haven't looked in a while but yea I like exotics for that reason too
They are expensive like luxury cars but don't have 85% price drop offs like them
458's are pushing 12-15 years old and are still $200,000 cars in good condition
458 speciales sell for more than sticker price
I can find really bad 458 for 120k
Because Ferrari makes amazing cars but their brand and customers are all snobs who waitlist and bootlick for the allocation
Considering it came around the same time as the 12 c it's held pretty well 12c's are sub 100k
Damn that's cheap, that is still what good 430's go for
Not the 430 scuderias tho
Yea the older Mclarens are bargains but the maintenance could be an issue
That v8 is a nightmare to fix
Yea all the special editions are overly expensive
430 challenge or a regular optioned out 430 with a gated manual
I feel like it would be almost 50 50 in a poll %
Challenge for me
And also since the purists have their eyes locked onto the f40 and laferrari now might be a good time to grab an f50 or Enzo (which by no means are cheap cars) they are guaranteed future classics
All 4 are eyed like crazy
The f40 has higher demand but the f50 has a much lower supply
Everyone dislikes driving the f50 but people will pay 4mil for it
F40 kills me since in 2017 is was a $1300000 car
And now it's a mid 2's car for the same mileage and condition
Anyone who bought back then is driving a better investment than an index fund
When the car I can't afford in my lifetime doubles in price (it went from 2 gajillion to 4 googilian)
Haha
but the ultimate goal would be enzo, pre lp gated murci, zonda c12 s,saleen s7,slr mclaren,f50, mclaren f1,koenigsegg ccx andcarrera gt
all in silver color perhaps
also a 2005 ford gt gulf edition would be sweet
ITS TOMMY
The car only known from forza

has a modified LS7 making 600 wheel, weighs only 1000kg

thats the mosler right
mhm
its my go to car in s1 class

solid car unfortunately doesnt make the list for me due to its limited run
saleen s1 is criminally underrated as well
i first found it out from asphalt 8 lmao
"nice Saleen S7 bro"
i also thought it was a weird looking saleen s7 at first lmao
That thing is bonkers and is very capable of making 1000
power to weight ratio bout to go crazy
thereâs someone on YT who twin turboâd it making 850
I think I understood that

these are slept on aswell

It looks like that gta car

Itâs a meta racing car

I don't think I have driven the mosler in fh5
Can we talk about the destruction of Lotus real quick
These two vehicles are made bybthe same company rn
One is an art piece for under 100k
And the other is an utter shit looking overpriced bubble ev suv
How could they contrast that hard just call the new lotus suv and fucking geely and stop tarnishing the name
I saw the new suv in person up close, it isn't like some cars where it looks better in photos
I didn't even takea photo of it on its own but it is that gray car photobombing the new Lamburgumer
purosangue>>
I don't like how any of these new luxury suvs look but I gotta give props to Ferrari for sticking a big ol v12 in there
It was a real fuck you to the Audi Urus rs
itâs basically a Chinese car lmao
Very little actual lotus if any
now lotus is owned by geely
Missed opportunity to name the evija as the reincarnated esprit

lotus has had a lot of economical problems in the past. Designing engines doesn't pay enough and their cars largely flopped until the elise, which was a minor but fan-favourite flop. Elise and Exige s2 were kinda popular, evora was a brilliant flop. The third gen was too expensive for the segment. You could pick up a new second gen for the price of a vw passat or entry-level bmw. Third gen was in the same price range as porsches. Most people opted for the latter because it's more well-known and approachable. A lot of lotus owners I've spoken to were previous cayman owners, it's kind of an inside joke.
Regardless, porsche provides a better brand-image, more reliable parts and good product-service, especially because it's VW owned and can make use of the VW network, pipeline and HR. Lotus offers a brilliant drivers experience, and because of toyota borrowed parts, a semi-reliable sportscar at that. However, there's no customer outreach whatsoever and original lotus parts (mostly bodywork, lights, interior) are expensive, hard to come by and not very reliable. Many owners replace a lot of Lotus parts with whatever tuning companies sell because these are more reliable and cheaper.
What lotus needed to do is build brand image and improve customer outreach. No one, aside from car enthusiast, james bond fans and older F1 fans know what lotus is. They also needed to improve the consumer-end of the supply-chain. Lotuses are known to be hardcore and lightweight, with the evora being the appropriate comfortable option. No one wants to wait seven months for a front bumper or call a dead line from the lotus website. Porsche offers you insurance, a nearby dealer/workshop and a replacement car instead.
In truth, lotus lost to porsche based on brand image and reliability. The new E-SUV and geely cars are an attempt to save the brand in a way similar to the cayenne. No genuine porsche-fans liked the cayenne, but the car essentially saved the brand and created an entire segment. Porsche's focus on hybrid and electrical systems has been a (successful) attempt to futureproof the brand when EVs become the norm. From what I can tell, the new lotus directive is essentially throwing the brand in the same trajectory, with a whopping 2-1 electric SUV. Obviously, this won't work as lotus is about lightweight and fun cars, not something practical. I think the right decision was to invest in professional racing and downscale.
Lotus has always been a niche-brand and should have stayed that way
ironically, lotus has a rather thriving second-hand market as the lightweight, compact sportscar segment is slowly growing. People want affordable sunday cars, more and more countries are doubling down on emission and weight based criteria for insurance and road taxes. A 900kg elise is more favourable in that context than a heavy porsche
honestly, lotus didn't go defunct because all the other cars in the segment sucked. The C4 is sexy but plagued with reliability issues and maintenance costs while the alpine a110 demands nostalgia that most potential buyers don't have. Also no one wants an automatic if the point of the car is ''fun''.
I ainât reading that
i've read all that
tldr lotus bad finances, porsche good finances, lotus tries to make same comeback as porsche, lotus will fail
yeah pretty much
the head company with the one who will control a company's money is going to control what product is going to churned out
I think the right decision was to invest in professional racing
maybe not
unless they get shoved into FormulaE or whatever current Lotus (or more realistically Geely) aligns with, they are just going to lose money
or lose money regardless of whatever discipline they invest in
lotus is indeed more driver-focused, but their bad decision-making has lead to the company's downfall
I'm saying that, prior to geely acquisitions, lotus should have downscaled and focused investment efforts into professional racing. What got lotus through 80s, 90s and early 2000s was providing and tailoring engines and car parts for other teams and manufacturers. I personally think that downscaling and turning investments to racing endeavours, for means of product innovation, was a more suitable option for lotus
because they certainly don't have the brand image to put an suv on the market
it probably is
the emira did showcase the growing market for small and ''affordable'' sportscars
and the reception has been very positive
it also doesn't help that geely is just using lotus as a fleshlight to enter the european and american domestic market. There's a lot of motif for lawmakers to further increase protectionist bills against chinese makes, as their EVs are starting to taking a major share in the segment
there's a relatively big chance that future legislation will extend to chinese shareholders or pipelines
and that could be detrimental to lotus
you heard me
yeah i dont see how that analogy works out but i guess the points gets acrossed
đ
trojan horse, maybe? đ
what the text wall
lotus' forte was undercarriage, they didn't do too well against bigger engine names like amg or cosworth
China's entry into the European market should've been through VWG, VW already had acquisitions in china from the 80s, some china-exclusive vehicle models and such. Geely as a company was the one that started acquiring European automakers like Polestar, MG, Lotus to give them a larger market and introduce chinese automotive manufacturing into europe. It's been working well so far, although it's debatable whether or not it was a bit unnecessary. Polestars are fairly common as far as EVs go, Lynk is getting China's name out into motorsport and advertising their domestic market, there wasn't really a reason to start acquiring smaller manufacturers when they could have just outright bought them and tore them down to replace them with their own brands like Hongqi and BYD.
Mercedes-Benz PureSpeed AMG Concept
i think i would still stick to the SLR McLaren Stirling Moss, thanks for trying
Brother ewww
Whatâs that
It has a halo as well
Probably will have a 4 banger too since that's 2024 AMG style
yeah i suppose they wanted it to safer or wanted to make it seem like it was 'Mercedes F1-style'
but the Elva, V12 Speedster, Monza SP1/2 didnt bother with some sort of halo
the Morgan Midsummer didnt even bother with rollbars
The front looks short bus inspired
The rest looks cool though
The "shark" nose, as they call it
It looks like a hideous creature with no nose trying to smile but physically can't open its mouth all the way
That front in an insult to all sharks

The sterling moss had amazing symmetry and really made it easy to see the half way point of the car
This new thing though the front is just flat af
It looks so odd
It reminds me of that new ugly hybrid Lexus they make now
The rest of the car looks fine but it has a tumor on the front of it

It's to deflect anyone over child height over the bonnet duh đ
To be honest that might be right
I can't tell if that comment was satirical or not
Half
It was some regulation somewhere that you have to have a certain front shape for pedestrian safety
Doesn't apply to American pickups obvi
I believe vehicles above a certain weight are exempt
So we push the children under the car because they are stupid
And should not have been in the street
While I woft my fancy Lexus
The weight class might be it
Even things like Tahoes and Suburbans have those giant flat front fascias
Yep
We need more sedans and less suv's most people can get 90% of what they do done in a sedan. If you need a minivan or a full sized suv because of a lot of kids or trunk space that's fine but most don't
It's all marketing
Granted they are also on truck frames and use truck powertrains most of the time
ive not problems with minvans to be honest
from what i notice, the people who buy them really need them
That makes sense since minivans aesthetically not desirable for ego or satisfaction
They are mostly a necessity vehicle
Sliding doors are so underrated honestly. Hypothetically, if minivans never existed and sliding doors first debuted on a new vehicle today, people would go crazy and consider it a luxury or high end thing.
They're also incredible for loading kids in and out of the car. Best family vehicle for sure
As a kid they always looked so cool
And they are only on vans and minivans ironically
The minivan stigma killed the sliding doors
Minivans still have sliding doors
They just aren't really worthwhile on anything else
Trucks and sedans obviously shouldn't have them, SUVs don't have the second row space for a sliding door to be any more advantageous than a regular door not to mention some of them are higher off the ground so a regular door provides more leverage...
Work vans like transits do have them
Minivans also have no business being that fast
been in a sienna the other day and that thing hauls
But the more Brutish ones like E-Series Ford vans don't have them because E-Series are supposed to be a cheaper, fleet option
Plus they regularly get the shit beat out of them so sliding doors would just be more trouble than they're worth
Hybrid systems go brr
V6 go brr
About half of the e series I see have sliding the other half have the duel doors
The old siennas are just built different
I only remember seeing either 2-door or the regular door ones
But you probably are right
And the odysseys as well
toyo tire blue tyres
mfers talk about minivans like they're disgusting
asians pull up in the most decked out vip alphard: u wot
i just found an f80 on the wheels from the e92
not sure about it
they're a bit small
i wholeheartedly agree
Ugy
That lip
All those scratches
i was gonna say smth about the head pillow but then realised it's rhd
bmw driver
sliding doors r easier to open aswell
Testing the 4N Motorsport de stroked N55r26 engine on low boost 17-18psi and low timing in these videos. Now that weâve gathered data on this engine the next sound clip compilation boost will be turned up to the 25-27psi range!
This has been an absolute blast developing this 2.6L motor. We were stuck for a few months with the mevd17 dme not ...
destroked N55 with 9k rpm
sounds like a 2J lmao

The most interesting day I've had at work is watching someone else's day get ruined. Funny how that works sometimes
is blud okay
You can't park there
was definitely listening to DragonForce
That looks hot
Door was open when I found it, which couldn't have been more than a few minutes after it started
I think he was able to get out, thankfully

holy shit it's the goldmember car
is that a modern peel P50
got to see a cybertruck in person, my god its huge, are average pickups this big in the US or is this just really big? its the size of our dump trucks lol
all the cars in the us are stupid big
all the everything*
big america
they also have a delorean on display, wonder why not park both stainless steel cars together
do a flip !
ya gonna go crazy when i tell you they still make those
from the look of it it's not too much bigger than a land cruiser
Wee
The cyber truck is actually slightly smaller than your average full sized pickup truck here
They can range anywhere from 230-250 inches
And somehow performs worse in a crash
I mean I know why but like
And more dangerous
Going to be tragic if someone gets ran over by one of these
That poor soul is getting divided by two
Yea idk how it past any safety tests
I don't think it did
]\
it's red
Non-Gta, still can ask stuff abt Gta? Or.
If can.. Mk2 or Deluxo?..
I feel like Deluxo is better.. also it has 2 seats..
Mk2 is 1 seater..
đ€š sir can you read what you just said again
that 280 in the back is smexy
this engine is in a r34, with the smokey guys signature, I'm really confused as to what it is, it certainly doesnt look like an inline 6 with those air intakes, and whether the smokey sign is real or nah
it's the century v12
smokey used that same engine for the top secret v12 supra
i have not watched this but it should explain everything https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ey6p0QFQBsI
Never have I thought that I would have the opportunity to see a recreation of the 2 Fast 2 Furious Nissan GTR R34 driven by Paul Walker, let alone film one in person.
However, despite it being almost identical to the actual movie car, this car isnât powered by the legendary RB26DETT (or RB25DET) but instead, a 5.0L NA V12 engine extracted from...
ah that clears it up
my mom
is so stubborn
i hate it
shes about to buy a series 1 for 40k
a 116D
diesel
she has a polo from 1998 with 98k kms
@dire shard
the sales man is blabbering shit out his mouth and my mom is gullible
đ
đ
the guy said the 116d costed 47k new
and is making a discount for my mom
and selling it for 38k
"discout"
stop her now
IM TRYINGG
BUT THEN SHE ASKED A FRIEND OF HERS THAT WAS SUPOSEDLY "KNOWLEDGABLE"
AND THE MF TOLD HER TO BUY IT
LOWKEY ANNOYING ASS
it's over đ
I EVEN CREATED A POST OR THE LOCAL REDDIT AND EVERYONE IS SAYING ITS A SCAM LMFAO
she said that my friends opinions dont matter đ
holy shit
im going insane
whole public forum bro
my sincere condolences
đ (this is not advertizing btw pls dont like or anything, just read)
its so over
mazda3 hatch recommendation is good, space is just tiny inside
i don't think any f40 116d is worth that much
alot of ppl recomended that one
but imho its ugly as
and mom doesnt like the looks
the bmw does look good
but like everyone said
1 series enjoyer
its ass
deceased
unless its like a 20i or a 18i
since it cant be diesel either
the polo is from 1998 and it only has 98k kms
if it can't be a diesel why is this even a consideration
why is she breaking her own criteria
isn't it being non-diesel a criteria
But i did minimal research
she doesnt even know the difference between diesel and gas its infuriantinfg
is the criteria not a sporty, presumably 3 door hatchback that is not diesel, hybrid, or electric
then instead of listening to me that actually researched about it, she just goes by what she likes
5 door gasoline would be best
WHICH IS POSSIBLE
BUT SHE WANTS THAT CAR SPECIFICALLY BCS SHE THINKS IT COSTS 47k
WHICH IT DOES, DONT GET ME WRONG... OF USELESS EXTRAS
Configurador

because nobodys buying it because nobody wants a 116d because the 116d is poopy butthole
i dont know small european cars
maybe peugeot has something to offer
this is a car thats cheaper and a suv.
this is a case where i'd scirocco but that's 3 door
i rlly liked the formentor
she wants a brand new car
it has to be brand new for some reason
cupras are funny i know jack about them
alot of ppl recomended it to me on reddit
probably just because she doesn't want to inherit an abused car's problems, it's normal
mom liked the shooting breaks from peugeot
but i doubt they fit on the garage
same i like them too
this one seems nice
manual and gasoline
whats wrong with a hybrid
29k is steep tho
she doesnt like the idea of having to charge a car
there is a mild hybrid tho
you don't charge a hybrid
where the car itself does the charging
you dont charge it?
you charge a plug in hybrid
there are different types of hybrids
on the other hand this is a 1.2k cc engine
wtf
this is so confusing
thats normal on this price range i think
havent found a car with an engine higher than 1.5 cc yet
i'm from a land with bigger cars, i'm not familiar with these tiny numbers
but if your car isn't fuel-hungry to begin with, a hybrid system doesn't do much to improve your economy and just adds weight
Hybrid = car does the charging, you donât charge
Plug-in hybrid = you charge up the battery by plugging in a cable, hence âplug-inâ
surely the normal hybrid uses more gas or something tho no?
afaik
i think plug-in hybrids can typically be operated completely fully-electric
ahhhh
not that much of a difference, no
the normal hybrids only get help of an electric engine
the engine kicks in whenever you go into sport mode/step on it hard/run out of electric range
i do think this won't cover the sporty bit of the criteria
if youâre concerned about gas the hybrid version does make a difference compared to regular gasoline
not that much of a price bump as well
well, sporty means different things for different people
it's not necessarily about the power but also about the handling tuning, but if all one does is step on the gas to get up the ramp, will they care
best advice is to test drive
you will know if it suits you by driving it
i know fuck about peugeots other than the fact that they have a gti performance trim
shes 40, everything that goes over 150km is sporty
only 40
real
there are a lot of options for tiny hatchbacks if she was willing to buy used
in contrast, my dad took delivery of a â22 Tahoe for his manager
i don't know about new options
no it cant be used
even new cars from standvirtual she hates
insanity
insane, visit cupra, good luck
Service history and everything
my mom would kill a family of 7 with a tahoe
fiesta
omg
too bad, It's kill.
i think my mom doesnt want the bmw anymore after i showed her the peugeot
omg
might be a blessing
who knows, maybe the peugeot is its own scam
m'lady tips fedora
i actually also liked the bmw before i went and posted about our experience
For one, itâs French
i didn't want to say that
thats a solid point tbh
the new ones should be fine
cant trust the french
should be
honestly, read long term reviews of the recent Peugeots
see if thereâs any problems
especially with the engine
i can't believe you're both mazda 3 haters
it's a travesty
tragedy
tra
ungh
zzz
I did not say that
I would take the Mazdaspeed 3 in a heartbeat tbh
sorry its not the engine, its just the model
it looks ass
...
sex
not to talk about the slightly out of touch interior
almost every car in the 30k ish zone has many screens, this one looks like a 2010 bmw
so ... bmw when it was good
peak bmw
What yâall talking about?
alien space ships
i love how much alike they look
I love them.
so good
Alien space ships = best vehicle
car people love analog gauges
mazda still making them is just seggs
who wants twenty ipads in their car anyway
6 year olds
looks ass
if interior tech/being a gauge hater is a big deal, you might actually keep looking into 1 series hatchbacks
just not the 116d
modern bmw loves tech
the f40 gen is.................. not that bad looking from any angle that isn't in front
L take
f40 generation 1 series bmw, not f40 ferrari
Thought u meant that
i aint!!
I now understand
yeah, I was looking at a âsportyâ hatchback for me to haul my friends around for uni
I was looking between the GTI, veloster and focus ST
completely forgot about mazdaspeed lmao
I think all 3 options are terrible unreliable vehicles but it is what it is
the veloster is fine
gte
i just think the door situation isn't as funky as they thought it would be
has more hp
and its more economical
!!
mom doesnt like those
she says its a kids car
even tho some cost more than her budget
whatever
ikr
i would honestly love to see a gti or a gte for her
but she doesnt want another vw
scirocco dreams dashed...
even tho the polo is like, the most reliable car of the whole family
has 100k km and only broke once
like a 120e repair
Iâve spoke to ST owners and they all said itâs quite ok reliability wise
now the gti ... will eat your wallet alive đ đ đ
i have the funky 5 cylinder volvo 3 door hatchback from twilight
the chassis is shared with i think the fiesta of the timeperiod, but the engine is volvo's
never had a problem aside from the steering lock that apparently happens due to the age of the vehicle that volvo did away with in the next model year
only GTIs in fitting budget are the golf 6s
golf 7 GTI is a tad more expensive than the other options
only issue with these cars, which can steer me away from them just to then get a Corolla
insurance is most likely more expensive than regular cars
I do not have GR Corolla money
dang
just get an 08 Camry hybrid
that thing is speedy
I cannot lie
like very speedy for what it is
the truth is, you do have gr corolla money - just not enough for the 2.5x markup đ
Ye he has an accord
... 3.0 v6
golf 6 ain't too bad
Be me, spend $1200 at the mechanics last week
Granted it won't need much of anything else now but thay was a bitch
I got the car for so cheap that I'm probably still even on it at least
@vestal garnet https://youtube.com/shorts/txNfATT7v9g?si=W4u2xmXGtBElyTb0
@pine relic đŹđ§
why am i reading that as "aggressive guzzler"
they're not that bad for fuel right??
Toyota W
inb4 3x markup
toyota when they forget they can tell dealers to stop fucking around
at least subaru members
3hp
toyo tire blue tyres
saw on facebook there's a polished cybertruck, I kinda dont hate it lmao, imagine the sun reflecting that into everything it drives by
maximum elonmuskery
real elonmaxxing
So basically a chrome cybertruck
yes, a chrome cybertruck

oh my god
RIP Porsche 911âs analogue gauges
1963-2024
rip porsche's analogue turbos
Whyyyy
I FUCKEN KNEW IT
i knew they would do that
this is why i really, really dislike facelifts
the 911s having at the very least an analogue tachometer was their selling point
wait so
the hybrid is only on the carrera GTS
the regular Carreras still have the pre-existing 3.0L F6
thats what I understand it as, yeah
Iâm excited for the turbo S tbh
more power without a major weight penalty
waitâŠ
wait

that's a nice citroen you have there
speaking of citroen who the fuck approved the cactus
the weird bubble shaped crossover? idk looks like what citroen would make
french cars be frenchin'
no silly it's imanitech armour>:(
This takes at least 2 rpgs to blow up
Like the other armored cars on the dealer sites
hehehe
