Get it for nothing then maintenance it properly
Boom, Italian v8 for less than an accord
Lol
I’m probably not brave enough to do that
would rather a reliable car that I can drive every day without issues
The closer I'm getting to being able to buy my affordable dream car, the more worried I get about the additional maintenance costs...
mhm
we were about to buy a used Porsche cayenne before we realized the reliability on them were bad
Well I plan on getting a 996 911 lmao
So you get the reliability concerns
I could get the 987.2 Cayman for virtually the same money, but I just hate how the rear looks
(It's way more reliable and arguably a better car)
I was today years old when I realized the cayman generation names is pretty much the same as the 911
The 987 was released around the same time as the 997
Yeah except for the 992 vs 718 (the 718 should've been called the 982
same with the 991 and 981
I know, it's just that people only refer to it as the 718
I wish I could afford a 997.2
That would solve all of my problems
reliable + the best looking modern 911 imo
does the 718 still not have the updated interior every other Porsche has
I mean it won’t matter to me
I don’t like the amount of touch buttons near the gear selector
physical buttons masterrace
some really unfortunate rumors is that the 992.2 refresh will lose the analogue RPM gauge
Yeah I've heard, lame
I am extremely disappointed and sad
anyway, that one GT3 I saw
pictures do not put it justice
it’s very wide
what the fugg, '718' isnt even the internal code for the Cayman/Boxster
this is why im more likely to dislike a facelift/refresh than i am to be excisted for one
that saying, the recent Taycan facelift wasn't too bad
it was faifthful to the older ones
sharper bumper, revised headlights
I like
With The refreshed 911 spy shots, it doesn’t look that different
the turbo S is supposedly going to get a mild hybrid system
if you mean this one, its a 'yeah-nah' from me
these better be mule car decoy because those slats are a wrong move
not a fan of the rear too
or maybe its because ive gotten used to the 992
The boxes in the middle are to hide the rest of the bumper I think
mayeb it could be that
Could be
i personally think that looks stupid
new leightweight wheel option too by the looks of it
BUTT CRACK
i just hope its not that drastic of a change
thats what i thought it could be
i cant remember where ive read but they are turbocharging the GTS as rumoured
I thought all of the lower tier 911s used the same 3.0L turbo engine
well, at least the GT3 and touring isn’t that drastic of a change
To me, it looks exactly the same
i beleive i have confused it for the 3.6L update
it will take me a while for me to get used to
maybe
i really wouldnt complain if they are giving me one either
nah i actually like current's rear lights better
I need to find out how to get the “mule car tester” role in Porsche
i think its interesting that the lower grille things in the front might be active if included for the release

unrelated but
Porsche said the Dakar is limited to 2500 units
But it’s still up on their configurator
I refuse to believe it still hasn’t sold out
maybe it did actually sell out so they made it a permanent model
i thought that to but i guess its for people to play around with
last time i checked, the Aston Martin DBS 707 Edition was also up to configure but i recall that they've sold all slots to their buyers
Hmm
the dakar was sold out last year
The S/T is still up for configuration as well
damn, I was going to buy one
time for a rich someone to do a funny and make a turbo S into a Dakar
Lift kit and everything
you mean these people have been paying twice the price for a lifted 4s
that's a porsche w
nvm it’s the GTS
Dream spec
It is a useless toy that costs more than any other trim, but at the same time, there are plenty of rich people out there who are into that
So yea I also thought it would be all sold by now
I would honestly get a custom obd2 gauge if I could afford to buy the car lol
I’m in Bonaire, this thing is very fun to drive so ima buy one in the UK for shits and gigs
How much do they cost thoughv
Doubt. That's a huge selling point of Porsches tbh
It has to be in the center and show me in the original analog format the way god intended
It's 9k lolllllll
That golf cart costs 5 times more than the full size sedan I just bought last week
The electric is 10k
It's like 5hp and a direct drive steering wheel with some plastic seats
That's horrendous, even 31mph would be a little low on that
It's probably computer limited tho
Yea definitely
Cause ye
But the engines are still small
A golf cart as a daily vehicle is something you do if you live somewhere that's always warm and tropical like the Maldives, Aruba, Puerto Rico etc
I wouldn't touch that thing if I lived in Europe
You can't use it half the year
The Citroën Ami is a better deal and goes faster
With all the premium items its 18k lol
If you paint it it's 19k
Offroad slicks for when it gets rough and rocky on the golf course lmao
It calls them Sahara tires
You also need to pay 39$ for mirrors
You can buy a ducati Supersport 950 for 18k lol
@sterile kayak are you sure you want to buy one now
Base model was 9.4k
It's not street legal tho
You can make it even more expensive
Somewhat faithful refresh
I think the fish-mouthed grille is a bit bigger
The old interior which i've personally started to not mind has now been updated similarly to the DB12
It looks like a tiny modernized One-77
that's a good look
the most important change is a change in the headlight shape and size
I like
Bro theres a same person with ur pfp and is named demon cat but in another server
W
hmm did he not learn about the old 911 EV conversion that burned down
he made his ride as quiet as a phantom?
I can't tell if this is sacrilege to tamper with an artifact, or an awesome experiment that the founders of the company would have enjoyed
Probably the later since phantoms weren't one of a kind things there were a few of them scattered around
why would one do this
@little skiff It makes a lot of sense. The founder of RR was heavily interested electric cars. The engines RR use were essentially made to create an experience similar to that of electric ones.
''In an interview published in The Motor-Car Journal in April 1900, Rolls described electric propulsion, in terms that, over a century later, carry the ring of prescient prophecy:
“The electric car is perfectly noiseless and clean. There is no smell or vibration, and they should become very useful when fixed charging stations can be arranged. But for now, I do not anticipate that they will be very serviceable – at least for many years to come.”''
Rolls-Royce reflects on heritage of electric power ahead of historic announcement. Electrification has long been promoted as the future of automotive propulsion. Ahead of further official statements, we invite the media to reflect on the marque’s unique heritage in electric power, which pre-dates the founding of Rolls-Royce the company itself, a...
he also worked in electric engineering, made his own electric engines and charging stations
it makes a lot of sense for an older royce to become electrified, as that's in the very image of its founder
if anything it's an homage, if it's well executed
Yea true
i still prefer combustion engines over EV
For fun and supercars absolutely
For comfort or a daily transportation thing I don't mind either
I'm surprised RR didn't go electric sooner, frankly
fr
Who doesn’t
exactly
People who use cars as a form of transportation who couldn't care less as long as their needs are met
Who doesn’t want a Lamborghini aventador E-SUV 🔥🔥
well i don’t think it’s anyones first option while buying an electric car
can someone help me with my time trial
i cant understand bimmer people's taste, maybe im old but goddamn thats tacky and ugly
Wheres your "bimmer"
what colour is your bmw
no bimber
Only Honda Miata
Nice miata
nice v10 swapped miata
surprisingly small the viper once i see pics of it parked next to regular cars
Is that a lada i see next to it
yes it is small if u dont consider the massive engine
looks like a 60s Mercedes-Benz to me
maybe a W108
Today i wanted to eat a
Mikoyan-Gurevich MIG-29
(NATO Reporting name: "Fulcrum")
So i went to a place that sells
Mikoyan-Gurevich MIG-29
(NATO Reporting name: "Fulcrum")
Then i bought a
Mikoyan-Gurevich MIG-29
(NATO Reporting name: "Fulcrum")
And then i ate the
Mikoyan-Gurevich MIG-29
(NATO Reporting name: "Fulcrum")
It's a small car regardless tbh
It's a small car with a monstrous engine
thats class
sir thats 2 cars
bring your child to work day
yep , if the car was released today with same engine and TUNED upto todays standards .it wud be undrivable lol.TImes when dodge knew what they were doing
They did that
A couple times, lol
the viper has already seen "today's standards"
it wasn't killed off that long ago
it was also safer, as "today's standards" necessitates traction and stability control
features lacking in the previous generations of viper that caused it to be known as a dangerous vehicle to drive
what's impressive to me is noticing how much bigger the viper got in its final generation
he all grown up
I like how when you're about to approach the rev limiter on the later models it lights up with the logo
i liked how the rear badge was the center brake light
And the ACR was like the final boss of all vipers
that penzoil ad with the yellow ACR remains to be one my favorite videos ever
And ABS... and crumple zones... And actual glass windows... Etcetera, etcetera.
so basically: all the viper had was a steering wheel, pedals and a shifter
yeah no wonder it was so dangerous
The steering was also just hot garbage in the first gen
lol ik wt u talking abt
so I’ve just been looking around and
a used F80 M3CS costs less than a brand new M340 LCI
I know what I’m picking tbh
pre-LCI is still less expensive
Yea i'd rather have the f80, you get a 4-6 year old car that still looks brand new for half the price, even a third of the price in some cases it came out as
I love German/Italian resale values
fuck old Japanese cars I love em but they are unjustifiably expensive
the LCI isn’t justifiable for the price tbh
people are making it popular because of the B58 but still
it’s pushing almost $80k where I live
and it only comes in xDrive
I found some non-CS F80 models with around 40,000km for ~$55k
What motorshow is that?
Anyone with knowledge on tanks? Curious on what sherman variant this is.
Found, 75 M4A2 Sherman with fake muzzle brake
Is that a supra?
Yea
2024 Canadian International Auto Show
Bro. You cannot be serious.... That is a frickin Pagani Zonda R...
🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪✋✋✋✋
That tow hook 🥵
Nahhhh that's a violation
Joking
My proudest nut
True
Ik that matte white finish 🥵🥵🥵💦
Best rental ever
🥵💦💦 I would pay a million for this
So fun to drive
Ikr
I even overtook another cart in this
Exactly
It was in Bonaire and the island is so flat so driving it was great, might have also done some cheeky offraoding
Lol
It was too easy
Bro went off-road with a golf cart lmao
Maybe the company doesn’t need to know that
🤫
No I spilled a liter of water on my car seats
Me when I left the sunroof open during a storm
I'm not that rich unfortunately
Same I just cut a hole in my roof
Should give my car a wash aye
Wash it
I hate that I can’t find any aftermarket parts for my car
What car?
I got a 2012 Kia picanto 1, can’t even find replacement wing mirror covers for it
I’ve seen modded ones out there but can’t find any info on them
Surely that be some places in Europe that do custom European car parts
I’ve seen some with really cool rivet on wide bodies but can’t find em anywhere
Most likely they did those custom to be honest
Yea there’s this one which I really like
have you tried asking the poster?
Yea no response
Damn I guess your car will be stock forever. Maybe take the exhaust off or something
The exhaust on mine already looks clean stock but might get an aftermarket
You could turbo it. That's doable. As long as you can make sure the engine can take it
Like this but mine is white
I could do that
All you need is a small one cuz it's tiny engine and it would go so far
Going to look into it
Beautiful
Putting a turbo on my car would be cool, I also want to remove a small bit of chrome on the front grille, black out the picanto badge and get black wing mirror covers
And probably get some new wheel trims
My list of what to do, time to get looking for parts
Damn £40 just for the pair of wing mirror covers in black
This is the silver colour like bit on the edge I want to turn black
Any ideas on how to do so?
I found a black badge that says picanto online for sale, issue is it’s in the Philippines and I’m in the UK
I found a turbo for it, but it is £280
I like it
Got a great deal on it
It’s a fun first car even though insurance is dead expensive
Like £1300 for a year, do they expect me to write it off once every two years?
UK insurance is nuts
Isn’t it like a 3 cylinder
Mine is 45k 2012
I meant like gas mileage
Yea
How much does the car itself cost?
Where I live if you are under 25 years old insurance is a scam it's so expensive
Full coverage on a boring regular car can be $3,000-$5,000 a year
£2800
Uk itself is nuts
So why even pay that much for insurance then
Cause cheapest one there is
Insurance is a mega scam for us youngins
If they are gonna charge me like I'm street racing, I might as well be street racing
Get my moneys worth and such
and you gotta get it legally
fun innit
I understand why insurance is more expensive for teenagers but it’s still got to be somewhat proportional to the value of the car they’re driving
1300 a year for a 2800 car is
I wouldn’t drive if I had to pay that much for insurance
Or I’d just get a scooter or something
I’m probably getting one of these bay boys soon
Why
Ofcourse but why that specifically
Convenient, pretty good value
Reliable
Economic
And like, a million other reasons

Fair enough
It’s as old as 1997 so it’s gonna be hard to find one in GOOD condition
Just start flying around and look for one then steal it
Too easy
👏 we have arrived at the crux of the problem
Insurance costs is mainly liability
So the car can be cheap but insurance will still be stupidly expensive
I’m sorry, but what does that mean in an example
Liability insurance stands for coverage in and accident that just pays for what damages you caused in the accident
Liability isn't coverage to repair or replace your vehicle it is just for covering your ass in an accident
In the US liability insurance is legally required to register a vehicle because it is the bare minimum coverage
My insurance is just liability on my daily car because I paid $800 so paying an extra $2000-$3000 a year to protect at most a car that is worth $5,000 just doesn't make sense
If you want find help go to the lfg chats. This is a channel about cars.
Also rule 10 doesn't allow for any transactions of any kind so don't pay anybody to do heists with you
Car meet n that
Sometimes, I'm thinking that there should be everyday cars with gas turbine engines instead of piston engines. What could possibly go wrong?
Chrysler would like to have a word with you
V8 power
Can you get only 1 vechile when delivering full bar of supply?, In cash factory
TIL: there is this pickup truck racing series in Australia that all have a 6.2L LS3 V8
i dont really know how to feel about it
uhhhh, how do i put it in a way that people can understand?
its like replacing potato chips for rice crackers
the previous format used to be with these cars
which were localised vehicles of the same body type from Australia
but then Australia stopped producing their own vehicles, so those cars also stopped getting produced
the idea is still there, the execution is a bit different
Should I purchase?
Nah the exhaust looks too good to change
£145 addition for a $2000 car just seems not worth the effort
If you really like the car sure go ahead
Yeah soo you don't wait for the bus again
Sure
Never seen one
It’s actually £220 total with shipping and the car is worth more than $2k
I've never really seen old small Kia's go for more than a couple of grand
At least here
Maybe a super clean one would be like $4k-$5k
It’s only 11 years old
Don’t insult my child
I need it
Ironically I'm getting a spoiler for my car that's about the same price so I'm being a big hypocrite rn
Mine just looks naked without a little wing or lip spoiler ngl
Damn
Jesus man put some pants on
May not be 100% on this because all old cars look the same to me and I can count the pixels in this image
If I had to guess
It's a 1971 Dodge Demon

They looks fairly similar
It's the closest one I found
Welp that was a fun car hunt
Off to bed

Some say that Bathurst is one of the hardest or challenging race tracks.
Me: Is Laguna Seca a joke to you?

laguna seca is for toddlers compared to it
Hey guys, whats your dream car and which car would you choose from Mercedes if you were given one which couldn't be sold
nissan skyline r34 and a mustang gtt
Paul Walker one?
yea
Why your dream car, due to watching him and falling in love with the character and the car is filling the absence of the character? (Since the guy died?)
idk it just gives me drift and speed vibes and i like lower suppensioned cars as well so yea
Doesn't neccesarily mean gtr, many cars like that. If you like that body then yeah same
yea mainly the body
fs
Fs?
for sure
Ohk
also the hellcats are my thing
only hellcats?
Dream car would be a gma t50 or Mclaren f1. If I had to pick any Mercedes out of pure enjoyment I would either do a clk gtr or a clk dtm amg. But if we're talking sellable cars I would pick an old slr or anything Stirling Moss drove
Or a pre war
Those are all a fortune
I would personally never get bored of a road legal race car
I hate driving suv's, they are solely for practically/utility and nothing else
Heavy and clunky, even the nicer ones
Even the Laguna Seca's corkscrew turn is nothing to Bathurst?
I have mercedes glc, its pretty good yk
like a diecast model glc?
@serene helm YF-17 72–1570 at Battleship Memorial Park in Mobile, Alabama
and 72-1569 – Western Museum of Flight in Torrance, California
the two prototypes
i'm biased in that i'm more familiar with laguna seca, but corkscrew isn't a challenge once you get used to it
(if you aren't used to it, RIP suspension)
the rest of laguna seca is... boring as shit
at least it isn't flat
speaking of not being flat, i hate the top of bathurst because once you reach the peak and start descending, that point in time is where your visibility of the road is low
and what better place to put a bunch of chicanes than where you can't see them? i've messed up the esses so many times because i just can't see them
but going up and down is otherwise pretty fun
T50 really? That car is looks underwhelming af
what's wrong with the t50
in fact, what's underwhelming about a manual attached to a v12, attached to a massive turbofan 🤔
you like... hate fun, or something?
In what way?
The T.50 is the biggest engineering marvel in the automotive space maybe other than the Aston Martin Valkyie
It is designed by Gordon Murray, has a cosworth v12 that revs to 12,100 rpm, ground effect fan, and weighs less than a 1990 MIATA
It is honestly the best remake of the Mclaren F1 they could have ever done and I've been wishing for an f1 remake since I could crawl
There's a 50 minute video on youtube just about the engine alone, the thing is insane
i almost said "the f1 isn't that old"
I would take the t50 over any other hypercar hands down aside from the obvious few like a Pagani Huayra R
Gordon Murray is old
So the t50 and t33 are his final send offs and they are done so well I would love to own one in the near future but $3,000,000 for a car is a long ways away
@dire shard One thing with modern hypercars and just every car in general nowadays is that everyone only focuses on two metrics. Horsepower, and 0-60. Most likely why @hybrid charm thought the t50 is underwhelming compared to its rivals like Koenigsegg and Pagani.
The t50 is built how a supercar should be built
Weight gone, nothing but what needs to be there
It only has 620-670 horsepower which in todays climate is nothing. But what is overlooked is that any other hypercar on this planet is turbo or supercharged
The t50 is naturally aspirated, it's the fastest revving car on the planet and it's throttle input in entirely linear
It is an engineering dream
It isn't flashy either get that car in gray and people won't even notice it lol, it's perfect
It looks good, but I don't think it's all that flashy
Like a Lamborghini with the jaggedness and stance
it's a shape more exotic than a 911, and most 911s are already eyecatching enough to the average viewer
i don't doubt it's more subtle than a lot of other supercars out there, but it's no sleeper
Gordon Murray was limited in design creativity due to the three seat configuration. That is what gives the car ots spaceship bubble look
besides, nothing with a huge fan on the back will go unnoticed
For a ground effect car that fan is really tiny, but yea it'll definitely look like a gimmick to someone just looking at it
The t33 is Gordon Murray's full design without restrictions
It's a beautiful looking concept that reninds me of euro le mans styling from the late 60's
Like the 33 stradale
Or the Porsche 906
The the t33 has ground effect functionality without the fan it was a really cool discovery
Think ‘convertibles’ and Gordon Murray is hardly going to be the first name that pops into your head. Convertibles tend to be heavier, less rigid and worse off aerodynamically than a hard-top car. And if you know anything about the sorts of cars that Gordon Murray designs, those aren’t just trifling niggles. And yet, here it is. The first Gordon...
This car weighs as much as a 4 cylinder sports car while having a v12 that revs to the high 11,000's
I love this company
mr2 except the 2 is 20000
amazing as this all is, i've come to the point where it's kind of painful to think about all the beautiful and amazing cars that i will never afford
it's life
the life pathway to t33 is not the life pathway i'm on
more points in saying that Mount Panorama is harder than Laguna Seca
You gotta take it one step at a time and enjoy every level you do get to reach
I'd honestly be at a very similar level of happiness in a Lotus elise as I would be in a Lamborghini Diablo
The price of a car is a decent factor into your experience but at the same time there are many fun cars out there that are achievable
It's honestly the main and very few reasons I want a crap ton of money
Racing and cars
If it wasn't as expensive as it was I don't know if I would have the same drive to be extremely rich
i don't want to say i gave up on that drive but all i do is look at old depreciated cars
well, as you say, the fun can be had at all levels
cheap depreciated cars or not
Even though the car got ruined by Youtube Vloggers and rapper personalities. Everytime I think of a dream car I always come back to the Lamborghini Huracan, preferably the Performante but I'm not too picky on trim
I love naturally aspirated great sounding cars and the Huracan is just small but punch packing. The aventador is an awesome car but it is the length of a mid size pickup truck
The Huracan is a baby
I like smaller cars
i don't think it's too much of a stretch to hope that the huracan falls to gallardo prices in a decade
the dream can be had
Some will
They were pretty widely produced
You can find them for right under $200,000
The 2014-2016 models with maybe over 10,000 miles
Yea the base model 2014's were like maybe $210k-$250k
But nowadays a brand new one you're lucky to walk away with an awd evo for under $330,000
Options get expensive
so it's been a decade since the 610-4 and it's not really dropped at all
my hope wanes
Because it is still the latest generation
And they are fairly reliable compared to older Lamborghini's
Old Gallardo's are cheap because they break down and have a ton of issues
Mainly pre audi powertrains
After 2008 Gallardo's were alright
Once the new "Huracan" comes put I think the deciding factor of the Huracan's depreciation will be whether or not it is a v10 or v8
it's supposed to be a v8, isn't it? the turbocharged one from the urus
V8 hybrid = Huracan prices maintain or skyrocket
V10 naturally aspirated = Huracan prices fall to Gallardo levels
Hopefully not
Idc if they hybriditize the 5.2 liter v10, the weigh increase will be annoying but whatever. If they make it a v8 though that would ruin the car for me
The car can have the best tires and best brakes on planet earth it'll still feel like shit if it weighs 4000 pounds
i mean, the engine or the weight
they made the revuelto a hybrid and it weighs like 400 pounds more than the aventador, but it retains its v12
if they hybridize the v10
If I wanted a car with a no sound turbo v8 I would get a Mclaren
how much more could it weigh
The Huracan already weighs 3400 pounds
So another 400 would suck
3800 pounds is heavy af for a supercar of that size
yeah, suppose hybridizing the v10 would add another 400, it would weigh as much as the revuelto lol
Say they do some reductions and it comes out to 3700 pounds. For a supercar that's only 172 inches in length would still be insane
That is why Gordon Murray is doing gods work with those bespoke cars they are the same size, same power but weight only 2300 pounds
but in being bespoke, cost 10x the price
so the choice between hybridizing the v10 and making it weigh 4000 pounds or stuffing the urus v8tt in it, this is ultimately between the identity of the car and the engine, or the performance
real
but you know what lays on the other side of that coin
cygnet
and not the funny v8 one
Cars they only make a few thousand of, and get driven only 1000-3000 miles a year
These are of couse the only thing destroying the environment
And MUST be stopped
Immediately
Totally not the concrete China wastes on barely functioning construction projects
Only supercars kill baby seals and raise the sea levels. It is such backwards ass thinking
How
the sf90 with its plug-in hybrid weighs 3400 pounds as well
the sf90's 3400 pounds is its dry weight
the huracan's 3400 pounds is its curb weight
the sf90 gains like 290 pounds or so over the huracan when comparing curb weights
though, still
considering the electric system accounts for nearly 600 pounds in the sf90
although, if you were to remove the electric systems, the sf90 would just no longer be awd
then again, if you compare the 580-2 to the 610-4, the weight difference is like roughly 70 pounds
conclusion: huracan heavy
Huracan needs to hit the gym and lose some weight
The STO is a mere 400 pound decrease from the 610-4
I don’t think that’s a lot
Gawd fucking damn.
Sf90 is also newer, double the price, and fully carbon fiber
The hybrid system on the sf90 is tiny I think it adds 160 pounds
I love Fiero's 😍
Tributo is better
They stopped making the f8, but yea the f8 and 296 I heard were more fun to drive
The sf90 is a low revving heavy thing
the combined weight of the battery and three motors is about 600 pounds
there is the price disparity here that would justify the sf90 generally having better technology in order to be built lighter(before electrics), but it's still a pretty incredible thing to realize how the weight of the two vehicles are so similar despite the sf90 having a 600 pound hybrid system in it
yeah driver engagement and performance are very different metrics that, when taken to extremes, counter each other
i'm sure the 296 and f8 were designed to be enjoyable to drive
the sf90 is just designed for performance, it's numb in steering and has scary amounts of power
It’s designed for the people that want to drag race Ferraris
That would be me, just need enough to buy a Ferrari
Bro will not possess a battery when he gets back from class
That camber is disgusting
Jeez
Can we talk about how far the lip of the wheel sticks out from the tire
Stanced cars are awful
One microbump in the road and bro is done for
someone thought it was a nice car and tried to test drive it
Front bumper ain’t even on properly
that thing doesn't look salvageable without parting out an entire other miata, the parts of which would be better served going into a better example
the front fenders were destroyed to accomodate the wheels, the shrouds for the headlights are missing, the driver window is held together by hopes and dreams
you can't rescue it, you can only put it out of its misery

way more interest for that XJ behind it
this chat tore the miata to pieces?
no
the owner did
tore it into so many pieces that the bottom half of the front fender is missing
that's supposed to be one panel
it's not detachable
yeah, its on the owner of the car
NAs never clicked with me but people who build those cars makesme alienate them more
he meant the NA Miata
silly farxxs, all miatas other than the mazdaspeed are NA 😎
If only they paired it with a manual
V10's exist
For sound naturally aspirated for me will always beat any induction engine. 10 and 12 cylinders are great because they are basically echo'd inline 5 and 6 cylinders which with the right exhaust and rpm sound just amazing
It isn't street legal, but the Pagani huayra r is the best sounding car I've heard outside of f1 cars
I miss v10/v12 f1 cars
Emissions can stick it
For street legal cars, the best sounding one for me is the dodge demon 170 just because of the insane whine
Honestly the hellcats have pretty interchangeable sounds, as good as they may be
I wouldn't be able to tell the difference
Best sounding car for me is the Cadillac race car that I forgot the name of when it changes from EV to engine and the roar is insane
Their GTP car
That sounds great but I like the sound of the C7.R more
They do sound amazin but I've always loved higher rpms for sounds
Deep cars can be top notch like the big v10 in the viper
Fair the viper is great
One of the coolest American engines ever
What is a mpg 🦅🔥🔥🔥
Any big block V8 makes a great American engine
Yea old v8's sound awesome, the more clunky the crank the bettee
The glug glug sound and carburetion
I don’t care if they are obsolete they sound insane
My Bugatti only got a 3cyl 1litre
Leaded gas ruined those cars I wish leaded gas never existed and we as humans just went with ethanol to begin with for fuel
Fuck corporate greed ruining everything
There's a video I like to watch once in awhile is a few farmers ripping a 1970 Chevelle 454 on a back road
Nice
There is alcohol in ethanol and ethanol goes into race cars so I am a race car
Can't argue with that
Exactly that’s what I tell the police when I get pulled over
Leaded gasoline was already being phased out before the golden age of muscle
Unleaded was becoming more and more common

Nah mine is 1/1
Nothing like it
Street legal though
Corvette owners when someone says it's just another Corvette
True but mine is 1/1
My Bugatti Picanto
2012
W3 engine
If I could change one thing about the environment of automobiles it would absolutely be that. People think cars are killing the planet faster than anything on earth
Meanwhile new ice engines spew out practically water
Taylor swift is killing the earth, let us keep our combustion
Fr
In one year she put out as much CO2 as like over 400 average Americans
Ridiculous
I just want to hear the roar of an engine
I used a paper straw so she can fly her jet across the street 😍
I still use plastic ones cause the turtles choose to eat them, we don’t force them
That’s why instead of paper straws we should make schools for turtles to learn not to eat palsyic
*plastic
I don't mind electric cars if they are fun, but nothing would replace the experience of a combustion engine.
A good analogy would be cars are cool, but nothing replaces the experience you get riding a horse around
We shouldn't get rid of one entirely
The world has space for everything
The combustion is what makes a car, a car for me
Just hearing it
Feeling the movement
Putting the dead dinosaurs to use
I've driven Rimo karts and the Porsche Taycan. I've never been in a Tesla though
Some ev's can be fun to throw around
But most are shills
Like commuter vehicles
Which makes sense
The high end EVs are great, I like their styling and such but regular everyday ones like Volvos and Mazdas
Burn em
Let me daily a combustions engine
Hybrids are fine
Nothing can beat a cold start
We're the minority, keep that in mind
Most people are not interested in cars the same way we are so let them have their ev's, I only ask that they exempt the high liter combustion engines or high cylinder cars to preserve their legacy
Exactly
Not everyone cares about cars as a hobby, most people just want transportation
We need to rise up
Start a revolution
Like Ferrari and Lamborghini flagships should NEVER not be v12's
Cute
That would be a bad day
Never anything below a V8
Lamborghini's need to be 12
I like the 10s more
I'm already pissed thw next gen Huracan probably won't be a v10
Because the v10 was naturally aspirated
One of the last mid tier naturally aspirated supercars
The gallardos with the V10 were peak
Like $200,000-$500,000
The post Audi Gallardo is extremely underrated
They are reliable single clutch kick with the high pitch v10
For like $120,000
Exactly
I would use my last dollar to fly to Europe and drive something like a gma t50, or the Aston Valkyrie
Do it
Combustion till the day I die, unless I get a rimac nevera but that ain’t happening
Rimac's are so slidey it's funny
Them partnering with Bugatti makes sense
They are both heavy and luxurious over raw speed
I would buy any rezvani tbh
It's their most unreliable car haha
Yeah the Hercules
6x6 cars are great
I love rezvani, apocalypse 6x6 and Hennessy
I'm not even sure how much better they'd be off-road lol
Hamilton collection is great
They just look cooler and sounds better
I like the g wagon 6x6 because it is the only 6x6 that isn't ginormous and has complete dedication towards offroad ability
But...
It's like $1,400,000
And for the apocalypse
It's massive wdym
Which is why all A to B vehicles should be electrified before the sports cars
True Richard Hammond tested it in a pool
Massive in height, but compared to any pickup truck it is tiny
Very off-road capable
It's also pretty thin
I’m more of a fan of the 4x4 squared
A pickup 6x6 is typically almost of not 300 inches long
same height but not 6 wheels
Oh that thing is fucking sick
I saw one not too long ago
I prefer the Brabus rock crawler, specifically the exposed carbon one
Looks insane
I don’t really like brabusified cars
Any off-road cars have a way to my heart
Dude has no opps
Counterintuitive design imo but whatever
What they going to do? Tow you?
Haha
It’s just great there is no explanation
There is the exception tho
It has the snorkel and everything
When the Rolls Royce wasn't fast enough
Yeah but that thing is probably isn’t going to see mud in its life
Unless whistlindiesel gets another
And the Brabus Porsche rocket that I forgot the name of
That is great
I don't like that
nah
It’s overdone
I love it
A Porsche with more power sounds like death
Fun
The 911 already goes against physics
This is the best daily possible
Make it more defiant
This is a mansory s class
The interior is insane
The colours
Mansory is so hit or miss. They either make the goofiest shit known to man or actually decent stuff
Like that two door urus
mansory wants to forged carbon the world
Yeah the 296 GTB terrible but that s class makes a great beast to use everyday
I’m with them for it
Forged carbon looks like a black countertop with a bunch of finger prints on it
That thing scares me and how do you get in the back
all the space to himself
This, there is no explanation is just weird
ewwww
I hate it
no thanks
If you don't mind German reliability
True but it was made Swiss
The front looks like a bookshelf
Anyway what is your people’s favourite vehicle that has been modified by a company e.g the Hennessy Mammoth 1000
True
BMW boys will keep arguing that the new beemer engines are Toyota reliable
not sure about merc’s
This trend of performance suvs just bothers me. If you want performance just get something lighter and lower to the ground
Mine has got to be the Hennessy Exorcist
Yea the supra may be controversial, but they definitely helped bmw's last more than 3 years
they last 7 now

I love the cayenne turbo GT
Maybe hot take
The Porsche suv is old so that's a rare exception for me
The only lifted vehicle I want
Porsche has been making them for decades at this point but something like a Ferrari suv just bothers me
It’s not old?
Same
They has been many generations though
They started in 2004 I think
Do you not want a V12 swapped Mazda CX30
I don’t
Hmmm
They should stick to their super cars
Rather than a weird looking monster
My whip is great.
I mean, it’s not like I’ll say no if I was offered that car
Yea the engine in the Ferrari cx30 is impressive and the suspension system is cool but it's just weird looking
Same but if I had the budget I wouldn’t buy it
It’s basically a lifted Roma with weird proportions
With that money I know what I would buy
I brought the f1 and the nsx with me to Florida
Damn
I left mine in my pocket and kind of took it from the UK to a Caribbean cruise
Lol
An Audi RS6 and a 911 GT3
I also own multiple paganis
But would you get an allocation for the GT3 or buy a used one?
Cause allocations are impossible to get with Porsche
It's a hypothetical situation in the first place so obviously an allocation
Especially for the GT3 and GT3RS
Fair
well if I had that kind of money I can definitely buy a couple macans and Carreras to get the allocation
You need more than a couple
Or give a generous donation to the dealership
I would just buy one used allocations are such a bitch
A purosaungue starts at £320k
Same

If I won the lottery I would just find a gt3 rs with a good enough spec to be happy with and pay the $400,000
For me I would get a turbo s and an M3 comp tourer
if I won’t the lottery I’d buy Porsche itself

Lol
You would have to win a lot
Yea I guess if you're worth a few hundred million you can just recieve am allocation without the hoops
seriously if I did win the lottery I’d rather a GT3 with MR package over the RS icl
looks better
and I’m definitely not fast enough to feel the 5 second difference on the Nurburgring
Oh piastri fan here
Honestly for a track machine I'd probably get a Camaro ZL1 1LE or a C8 Z06
Hallo raptor
"Porsches are faster around a track" I don't care
I want something under 2400 pounds for a track car since I'm not too worried about top speed
I like braking later and feeling less roll
a built 90s civic
9000 rpm
I'm more concerned about sound and stability, both of which the 6th gen Camaro has a good reputation for
I'm not too fond of fwd but it's not something I dislike
300 horsepower for 900 kilos
Porsches sound good, yes, but I like the sound of American pushrods more
Porsche's are cheat codes
They make everything else feel bland so I wouldn't drive a Porsche around the track much
It'll ruin me
If I was rich enough, crazy enough and good enough, I'd probably get a Noble M600 and LS-Swap it or something
And add ABS because I like stopping safely
there’s also the Schirmer BMWs if you had a bigger budget
Abs is no fun, skid into the wall like your ancestors
okay, but my pick

Our ancestors didn't know how to turn right so I'm fine with that
Now we can turn right with the best the other countries can
Ford figured it out first and now Chevy stole their thunder
Hennessy exorcist
Love em
Too much power
Camaros are great in my opinion doesn’t matter what gen
Fair I would probably use it for street racing or something
Just in case
You'll get less grip on the street than on a track
Especially with how little the other components are upgraded to compensate for said power
Don’t care about grip I want to skid and hit a crowd
But I won’t it’s not a mustang
Hellcats are pretty good at spinning the rear wheels
I hate hellcats purely due to takeovers
I don’t understand why people do takeovers they are awful
2.0 GPA activities
I just automatically assume people who enjoy takeovers to be in a lower intelligence bracket to the rest of us
Takeovers is what ruins the car scene for me
Exactly
Au falcon
I refer to international motorsport
Au falcon is best skid car tho
Anything can skid with the right setup
Imma do some doughies in my peel p50
I would personally go for a giulia sprint GTA, lotus 3-11 and peugeot 205 t16 turbo
wouldn't mind a tz2 either
beautiful
Very European lol
nice
Something about old Italian shooting brakes...
My car has a higher power to weight ratio than a Dacia duster
Somebody should change a Mazda MX-30 into a Ferrari Purosangue
Yea just replace the oem headlights with Toyota prius lights and remove/paint the plastic trim pieces

Yeah beautiful
Always been fond of efficient cars and this one had a small 4 cyl
I wannnn it
CARSSS AND BIIDS!!
Imma buy it just so you can't
Don't worry, I can't regardless xD
