seat is spanish?
yeah it is
Yeah but you don't get seat outside europe
i'm in europe... not uk š
a british person would start with a vauxhall, an opel or a ford, from what i can gather
i suppose there is nothing wrong and there is no such thing as a bad starter car
as long as it beats walking
Hm fair
my home country is malaysia though, and car taxes are insane there
I figured Poland would have a lot of ladas and BMW/mercs
almost nothing on the streets back at home other than a few mustangs and gtr r35s
there are many german cars here, but not ladas in my city
What was the main car brand like 30 years ago
Australia
huh
A Bentley continental GT mulliner is about 500k AUD in Britain
And here it's 730k
australia is a shit place for a first world developed country
Hsv better
idk the numbers, but heres the wiki page https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaysian_motor_vehicle_import_duties
Malaysian motor vehicle import duties is an article describing the excise duty on imported vehicles into the country.
Australia is pretty shit but better than UK Canada and usa
it's bad, i can tell you that much
**used too, they died on their arse after all ford manufactuered in australia ceased
Of the English speaking countries I would say Aus and NZ are the best
All manufacturing in Aus ceased
There's exactly 0 cars manufactured here
fuckkk i didnt know that
NZ MENTIONED RAHHHHHH
Yeah aus-nz basically the same country
thats why last gen ZB Commodres were really Opel Insignias
or Buick regals if you live in N/A
Yeah they only exist to fulfil the commodore contracts for the cops and shit
in malaysia, we have national brands (Perodua and Proton) that are extreeeemely popular because of price
only for them to stop using them in fleets
hang on , thats not true, theyre still there
they're mostly fairly boring cars though, and proton is a brand i don't trust for reliability
Didn't know proton was Malaysian, never heard of perodua
mmm they mostly just sell in malaysia
proton did get bought by gheely like 3 years back
Geeky ew
still considered malaysian though ig
but on the upside, they own volvo, so the new proton SUVs have good engines
volvo engines
But Volvo is still volvo
*geely owns volvo
true, but any european car is impressive next to a proton
And geely is straight trash
Just like Tata and whatever they own
other than their latest gen, protons are mostly all shitboxes
polestar is cool imo
Yeah it is pretty cool but would still never buy one
Uh very stressful lol
i met one guy that does daytrading but haven't spoken much to him
But overall good and scalable and I don't have to answer to anyone
i'd love to get something like an elise in the future though
a TT r
would also be cool
Lotus are cool cars but I feel like I'd be disappointed since I'd never be able to drive them cause it would be at a mechanic 24/7 lol
Lotus is know for
Lots
Of
Trouble
Usually
Serious
only seen a few back in malaysia
audis are cool though
ooooh a 1st gen R8
that would also be great
why not?
And other Audi's are boring except the rs3 / rsq8, but at that point get a urus instead
Tts look bad and they are chick cars
But they drive good and objectively good cars
rs5 avant is pretty cool imo
that's cause we have no wagons at all where i come from though
true, and true
a silver tt looks alright tho
No wonder you are able to consider an LC and a M8 lmao
Ha lol I was working at a gas station until a month ago I only started full-time trading recently
those cars atleast 6-8 months away
Idk where you're from but america doesn't get many cool wagons anymore and it sucks
malaysia has no wagons, period. there is one single person in my state with an old yellow volvo wagon and that might be the only wagon in the nation
The last cool american wagon we got was the magnum SRT8 and the only cool one you can get now is like the RS6
mind, it's a big country with a lot of cars. i guess nobody want to import wagons?
that dodge looks hella cool, damn
The only new wagons now are BMW and Audi right
And the volswagen arteon/golf/Passat shit
Oh and Skoda
i saw a panamera wagon a few days ago here in poland
I was surprised when I knew a lot of cars/other type of vehicles donāt get imported to the US
Scooters for some reason are looked down upon
So they have no market
Scooters suck lmao
It's has a lot of Benz components so it might just last past 100,000
Literally 0 sex appeal
America is the land of the automobile; land of the big cat
Get a real motorcycle
Infrastructure built to accommodate bigger vehicles and an economy that's semi-consistently allowed average people to get said big full-sized vehicles
Normal NPC cars powered by Diesel aren't huge here either and I think I know why
I donāt like small 150cc scooters but they do seem to be very convenient. However I like maxi scooters like the silverwing/tmax/burgamn because they have enough power, lots of storage and are both fun and convenient at the same time
The average distance people need to drive... Anywhere really, is bigger in the US, remember that
Can it handle 75 miles per hour on a highway?
I'll admit having storage is great, the amount of times if been riding with no wet weather gear or had to stuff things into my pants to carry them, or straight up done stupid shit t try and transport things on my bikes is crazy
But you don't buy 2 wheels for practicality
@jagged sentinel I've heard Americans cry about 30min commutes
A 600cc can handle that yeah, but itās much more comfortable around like 65
That's another thing; americans always just... Have stuff
And Europeans tbf
Australia is empty so we drive quite a lot
But for some reason our roads are small AF and your American trucks barely fit here
We should be the greatest driving country in the world but for some reason our roads and infrastructure are dog shit
I have to admit though, "real" motorcycles are a lot more fun
Are RVs and camper trailers popular in other countries?
I wouldn't be surprised if they were in AU
But then you lack the storage and convenience
Yeah after commuting on moto for years I will never again buy one for practicality
Only as a second/third vehicle for fun
You get storage but you can't go cross country and you are still weather's bitch
You are at the mercy of the road conditions, and if it's snowy, icy or wet then you're in for a fun time
Fun time more like death
4WD/AWD is very handy
First bike was a 2020 ninja 400
Second was an r3 (sold after 2 months it wasn't great, ninja far better)
And third was a Husqvarna vitpilen 401
Yeah that's what I was alluding to
Was limited to <660cc bikes here due to age and license restrictions
It is dangerous but it also gives you a sixth sense
Once you get used to soccer mom SUVs cutting you off every 30 seconds you can basically predict what every vehicle on the road is gonna do
It translates to car driving too, you get pretty good at weaving through traffic
But yeah all it takes is 1 oil spill or 1 mistake from another driver to become roadkill lol
That phenomenon reached your shores too? God have mercy
Lol yeah
lmao
Everyone talking about road toll and how dangerous driving is
Like bruh I can speed and I'm still a safer driver than boomers and soccer mom's in their Mazda cx9
People irl drive like GTA NPCs fr
Thatās plenty to be fair, bigger bikes are just too heavy
Idk how y'all drive but the way I do, bikers and truckers (semis and RVs and such) get the right of way
Over here thereās no legal right of way
Trucks and bikers are always chill I stay out their way and give em plenty of space even if I'm overtaking
I forget that right of way is a uniquely American concept
Somewhere in the middle east
What I mean is that I give them space and get out of their way if they need to change lanes or something
Yep šÆ
I mean mostly in a legal sense
Yeah we donāt have that, itās just up to the person
Obviously common sense is a thing
I respect trucks, bikes and people in nice cars
The rest idc I drive like a maniac
I mean generally the left lane is the "fast" lane and I think that goes for all countries with steering wheels on the left
And the right lane is slower
Because thereās exits and such
Right lane to my understanding is only for people about to exit
Left lane is for passing or going 10+ over the limit
Yeah
Other way round here but yeah
So youāre just left with the middle lane

My car isn't worth speeding in so iont do dat
Lol I used to drive a van for work deliveries parcels
Id skid that shit round corners if I didn't have any fragiles in the back
I cannot drive normally I just zone out
My car wouldn't let me do that, even if TC was off
"intelligent AWD" go brr
Subie?
Ford
What car??
There's a new one?
Yes
An American driving a Ford, who would have guessed
Wtf it's a truck?
Easy there
Ford maverick is a Nissan patrol here
It's on the escape frame, so not an actual truck frame
It was an SUV in the 90s
This one isn't mine but it's specced exactly the same
Id it just me or would it look cool as an suv
It's SUV
Nobody can convince me otherwise
Not on a truck frame, doesn't have truck towing capacity, doesn't have a full-size bed, and just feels like an SUV
At that point just get a ranger or expedition
The maverick is a vehicle for people who want a truck but are honest with themselves
I need vehicles to look good
If it isnt sexy I don't want it
Scooters are pretty fun tho
But it's like cheap stupid silly fun not a real vehicle
I know for a fact that owning trucks and not needing them is a very american concept
Nobody needs trucks they just look cool
Because anyone I've ever talked to about it from any other country doesn't understand it or doesn't like it
Yeah in Australia we have a lot of utes but we actually use them lol
No offense intended of course, it's just an observation
and comfort
Yeah only some of them are comfortable
But theyāre a hell of a lot more comfortable than a bike
Maybe the maxi ones but normal scooters have tiny wheels and fuck all suspension
The touring ones yeah
Only comfortable if they have lumbar support
scooters look good just not sexy š
But still if you want comfort you get a car
Agree
I strongly disagree
next to most motorbikes, they are
This aināt cheap
yeah fs
i'm talking small engine scooters
10k USD?
this is ugly as fuck
All scooters are ugly as fuck
Maybe not this model
And most cruisers and naked bikes too
But it doesnāt look bad
And anything with chrome
That tmax is good looking for a scooter but if i see it on being ridden on the road it's still Derpy AF lol
It's like this 3 wheeled can am spyders
When I first saw one I thought it was a motorcycle for disabled people lol
You canāt tell me this objectively looks bad
And mind you it was first released in 2001
not vespa type
it does look bad
Is the vespa the only scooter you like then?
Thatās what Iām understanding here
And imo the vespa looks meh
Itās also overly expensive
How much do you want to spend on fuel: YES
Bruh it's a bike the fuel consumption is nothing even if it's 1000cc
Again, if you can afford to drop 50k on a bike you can afford the fuel
my dad drives one of those double front wheel piaggios
dont need a bike license for them here
I can already imagine how goofy that looks
its fine
they do share things like having four wheels, and two doors. if that is what you see similar about them
I wish cars could be that cheap again
i cannot think of much worse
it looks like a medieval knight helmet and a sad horse at the same time
Why does this exist
because it's classified as a car and you dont need a bike license
Really?
yes
Lol
do they not share some similar designs and motif?
in retrospect i should have used a mouse and lowered mouse speed
im also ignoring the body lines, the kink in the b/c-pillar windows, the bootlid, the lower bumper and the roofline and antenneas, because they are more or less universal now in terms of desgin of a 2door coupe
i had to highlight the wheels though, they both round and made of alloy and have bits of rubber placed over
they still are
you can buy shit cars for $1000 still
my car lasted 2weeks before i got a defect notice for my straight pipe + no front/rear bumper +strippedinterior
The bmw is a lot more rounded off and the lexus has a boxier finish
If you look hard enough you could probably find small things that are similar at the end of the day
Design language is what companies use to be unique so most good car brands stay pretty creative and make it easy to spot their brand from any angle of the car
like da wheels!
yeah your observations are a fair
they are both uh round?
i was kidding with the wheels
Ah
five lugs too
Because they are both technically 10 spoke so there's that
Bmw rims look like they are 3d printed from a videogame lol
i do like their rims, they're funky and uniquely bmw
im assuming because nothing is coming to my mind right now, theyre unique
im excluding aftermarkets for that above statement
It's like retro and future at the same time
They did a nice job with them
yeah, i actually understand that statement
Does anyone know which is the best jdm car in the game right now ??
I wonder, what would be cleaner in emissions, Euro 5 gas engine or Euro 4 electric-gas engine hybrid assuming that they have same displacement size and same car?
armored kuruma
who cares about emissions
EPA does
epa who
American company that killed the music car
Something about people dying from carbon monoxide poisoning
Tbat is a terrible point to be made
Uhhh
so theres a clip floating around of a cybertruck towing a porsche drag racing a porsche
that's the most pointless dick swinging competition I've ever seen lmao
lemme just buy a cybertruck instead of one of the best sports car ever made because it won by half a car length
its a stunt that tesla brown-nosers and/or electric apologists can get behind
Itās gonna have overheating issues
lexus is the last brand I'd imagine razer to partner with, somehow I can see why, lexus and their designs are way over the top, now with RGB
Damn grand tour getting axed sucks
With Nissan, Honda and Toyota having their luxury brand/division, I'm surprised Mitsubishi, Subaru and Mazda don't have such.
mitsubishi is dead now so theres really no point
mazda tried to make a luxury division in the 90s called amati but failed due to the rising economy
Mitsubishi is still doing well here at least, not sure in other countries
no more three british men and their sheningans??
shame
i guess if you still wanna see clarkson do some farmwork, or if you wanna see may be a tourist, they are still there, so they're arent disappearing from the tele
They are better together tho
Clarkson's farm is good but no car content and no trio
The marketing team for the cybertruck are geniuses. They pull all the strungs that make children and non car enthusiasts go "wow that has got to be the best thing ever made"
Because if you get kids to like it then it goes on wall posters and they grow up with nostalgia for it
agreed
that was a base model carrera as well
a turbo S would probably mop the floor with the cybertruck that doesnāt even tow anything
That and they are experimenting with a hybrid turbo s
That may be the fastest 0-60 production car if they do it well and do it right
Tesla is great at marketing and their funny gimmicks
thereās this saying
a microwave cooks faster than a grill
but who wants a microwaved burger
When I saw the Porsche thing for the cybertruck I wasn't angry or thinking of how absolutely pointless it was. I was hysterically laughing
Because only tesla would do some goofy shit like this to market a pickup truck
It reminded me of all their other stunts
Yea that's true. For a true experience the noise of an engine can mean everything
Electric sports cars and supercars are very capable and have many benefits but I don't think it should be "this town ain't big enough for the two of us" mentality when it comes to ev's.
like their original cybertruck presentation
Which governments banning gas cards makes it to be
I only remember brief moments from it
but something along the lines of bulletproof glass that shattered when a rock was thrown at it
Ev's and ice cars can be here at the same time and as time passes even if Ev's become so good that it makes ice's obsolete, we should still have hypercars and supercars like Pagani, Gma, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Bugatti's making engines just for the art and engineering of it
exactly. Id use a microwave for other things
If I had fuck you levels of money I would probably daily a Porsche Taycan. I wouldn't have many ev's but I definitely would have like one or two
Taycan and the 2009 original tesla roadster
The original roadster is just sick I love that thing
Porsche did say theyāll keep making ICEs for āas long as possibleā with their biofuel project
The synthetic fuel experiments are really cool
They work perfectly fine but rn they are too small and too expensive for mass markets
You can only get the synthetic fuel at their testing facility in South America near Antarctica and it costs about $40 a gallon to produce
We have it. But we're just a long way from it
on the topic of synthetic fuels
a former F1 driver did a showcase run last year in a V12 F1 car using synthetic fuel
the sound of the V12.
F1 cars with more cylinders are one of the few reasons I wish I was sometimes born ten to fifteen years earlier
That and bitcoin
I would have absolutely been stupid enough to buy bitcoin at like $8 a pop back then
If I was my age now in say 2010
The thing is though I would've most likely sold it really early either way come to think of it. There is no way I would have held all of it to 2017 when it spiked for the first time
One product I think becoming an ev is beneficial are go karts. Having them be ev's gives them the ability to be used indoors consecutively, and have a better center of gravity
Ev go karts can be very fun and good practice since they are usually cheaper
I donāt see karts going EV
maybe the very slow ones for your average person that doesnāt know much about Motorsports but
the āproperā karts should be ICE
thereās shifter karts that 100mph+
those are rad
Shifter karts and typical consumer karts are two very different things
But I could see a time where the professional karts could have an ev future
I think the shift really stops once you get out of kart type vehicle and go into smaller formulas
A formula e type race for karts could be an interesting addition
Electric is good for a lot of things but not consumer road vehicles
Karts, dirt bikes, public transport
Yep
Sex robots could be very good but real women are better
it's just fine for most consumer road vehicles.
Generic cars that regular peoiple use to get to school, work, and go grocery shopping could be electric and many people wouldn't care
it only becomes an issue when you start forcing it upon people rather than incentivizing
No I mean from an environmental/supply/manufacturing standpoint
Battery packs need to be replaced often, are very expensive and require rare earth materials
Billions of electric cars is a ridiculous idea
Also electric grids cannot support ev infrastructure so electricity production will need to ramp up
Solar panels are also very expensive and take up a lot of space
And people cry when they hear the word nuclear
So grid is still supplied by fossil fuels anyway
There's literally no point in replacing private commuter vehicles with electric cars
Public transport on the other hand could be very efficient
So, is Tesla still a joke?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OyrTLYyIvNI
Wait for it...
0-60mph in just 2.6s
https://www.tesla.com/cybertruck
Who would pick Porsche over Tesla now?
If Tesla improves the Cyberbeast, it might even become faster than McLaren and Bugatti supercars and hypercars
sure, i would pick the Porsche, regardless if it loses by two or three car lengths
im not crossing-shopping either too
Cant really be surprise because the spec sheets immediately and objectively go to the Cybertruck in performance
Whether or not you admire that stunt is up to you or not to decide, i suppose
Hmmmm, I'm sure it won't be far before Tesla builds a Cybertruck faster than the Agera RS and SSC Tuatara
In what metric?
The Cybertruck, the Tuatara and the Agera RS are all chasing different things
This test is utterly useless, it is simply just a funny marketing gimmick to impress kids and non car enthusiasts, which is Teslas main demographic
I personally found it to be hilarious, their marketing team is genius
That is not physically possible
Tesla could make their roadster really fast for sure, but not the boxy pixelated Halo 1 car
Oh well, back to reality then. Their marketing team is probably a lot better than their quality control team.
Drag races are shit
Everyt ime I look up 'car vs car's I get dumbass drag races
Bruh idgaf compare the fookin cars
Are you looking for a review?
whats up gang why u replying to my 2020 message lol
@runic badger yeah but almost every 'vs' video so a drag race or spec comparison

in my pursuit of collecting american muscle car models, I came across a hellcat, they also have a cybertruck but it was oddly beige, not stainless steel, got the dodge
a dodge charger is really easy to find, but they're all skim beeble chargers, and I really really hate that xd
Razer car
Gamer car turned into reality
Hmmmm, idk if this is a culture in your countries, but here, people often park on sidewalks or on top of curbs.
But sometimes, drivers have trouble in getting up on the curbs or sidewalks due to it having no ramp or its gradient being square-ish instead of having round curbs which they trigger wheelspins.
I don't know why they stop by lifting their foot off the throttle when they trigger a wheelspin, they're 0km/h, they're not moving, so my pro-tip is when a wheelspin is triggered at that situation, go full throttle and maintain it until the car actually climbs on the curb.
I like the razer car idea but wasted on an suv
They should partner with supercars or muscle
Honestly surprised they didnt do it on that Lexus van i cant remember the name of
How else are you gonna shove all that gaming paraphernalia while the passenger rages at their monitor on the move?
@serene helm enjoy my avposting
No. 75 Squadron RAAF's Squadron Tribute Legacy Hornet (Magpie)
*Raver car
*caramelldansen car
in malaysia, climbing a curb is the first thing you learn in driving school
Same here, but they don't let us climb the non-curved curbs which cars can't climb without wheelspin though.
But yeah, if a wheelspin occurs at that point, since you're not moving, immediately go full throttle and maintain it, and the car should be able to climb.
ohh i see, my bad
No words...
Here is the two first lap of KEVIN Estre during the start of the 24HRS race 2021.
The team and Kevin decided to choose one AUDACIOUS strategy!
It started to rain on few parts of the track but the track is mainly dry except few area, anyway all the other teams decided to wear the RAIN tires for extra safety WHEN....Manthey Racing and...
sit back and enjoy the sound and incredible racecraft
Murcielago SV, and im not too fussy on the 488 Pista or the 765LT
too bad you are gone
Murci SV and 765LT
Murci and pista
Ah he left but I'll answer anyway because this is a cool question
It completely depends on if the murcielago sv is manual
If it is manual then choosing that is the most no brainer decision on earth
Sometimes, I really think that we really need pop-up headlights, neon lights and rim spinners back.
And I'm quite sad that Subaru has no plans of turning their WRX and STi into e-crossover or e-SUV. š
what.
Change nickname, rule 7
if only the rules didnāt stop me from doing that

how to piss off enzo for all his shenanigans:
damn look at these sexy cars
Esuv
found an old 3d project I did back in 2019 when they teased the cybertruck, I thought I could make it in under 30 minutes, therefore I did, added some pavement queen mods to it too, I present to you, cyberbrotruck
it could've looked better if they gave it some sort of side mirror cameras instead of the regular side mirrors the production model got
it does have cameras and the mirrors just pop off
they're there for regulatory purposes
Because US government slow lol
I heard the cybertruck isnt coming to europe
How tf did this truck pass basic safety tests
because america is a lawless country
I wish, car import regulations are utter shit here
A car has to be 25 years to be exempt from serious registration requirements so if you like a car and it isn't sold in the country you're fucked
The only thing is show and display but they limit that to 2500 miles a year
compare the rules for road worthiness between any state in the us vs germany
What are the import laws for Germany?
The road laws must suck ass since you can't legally modify anything
California is the worst in the US so I see it as a fair competitor
California is braindead when it comes to cars
I reckon what you consider california to be in terms of limitations for modifying cars is nothing compared to places like Germany and here in Australia. America is incredibly lenient across all its states by comparison
America is, California isn't
It is a horrible state to own a nice car in
Unless it is like a supercar from factory obviously
that probably to do with lobbying from US-based manufacturers?
i dunno
It was to prevent people from buying a euro-spec version of a car available in the US for a cheaper price and then importing it
The 25 year length was just an arbitrary number
We'll actually no, if a car is 25 years old it can be registered as a historical vehicle, which exempts it from a bunch of regulatory laws
What's wrong with Euro-spec?
Does it mean Ph jeepneys can be exempted there?
its taking away sales from those in America
If Euro-spec is better, then it shouldn't be a problem.
They're limiting customer choices
Bingo
That's not the concern of the US branches of European brands though
The reason the law exists is because of them
Imo, it shouldn't be a problem for customers if it's taking away sales from those in the US, but it looks like the sellers and the gov't are making it the customers' problems.
Welcome to America
Capitalism should only be "Get good or go home"
Same thing with selling cars
Anyway, is it really wrong to say that if you want to reach 60mph or above, don't drive a Suzuki or Hyundai?
In America you'll be fine with a Hyundai
How about Suzuki?
I don't even know if they sell passenger vehicles here
I have seen Suzuki utility trucks/flatbeds
One time I said that the reason I will not buy Kia and Hyundai is because I want to be fast in highways.
Things under 200 horsepower are especially rare in america
Yeah, many cars there have V6 and V8 engines
they are getting faster, arent they?
Bit of an exaggeration
they arent slouches anymore
Americans just don't like weak cars and we have the economy and the infrastructure to back that position up
We can extract 200 horsepower from a ballpoint pen nowadays
If they don't like weak cars, then a 2.0L or even 1.5L I4 turbocharged engine can do just fine.
Most "NPC cars" here as I call them have I4s and V6s
Downsizing engines and equipping those with turbos is still a trend.
whats an NPC car in the states
Boring cars
so, some Toyotas?
Yes
V8s are mostly reserved for full-size trucks/SUVs and sports cars, we don't cram those into everything anymore
If you don't want an NPC car, then buy a Honda, Mazda and Subaru.
Those are the fun cars here
Most of those cars are the definition of NPC cars here
Even Subaru?
Especially Subaru
sad WRX and STi noises š
there is a loyal fanbase of Subaru drivers in the US, i think
It's only the WRX and the BRZ that I don't consider "NPC" cars, and even then the WRX barely makes the cut
current gen WRX suck on look alone
There definitely is
Their sound is quite distinctive
Nothing else like it over here
are Mazdas considerd NPC cars?
i thouhgt they are aiming to be a bit more upmarket
Yes
to both statements?
Premium "NPC" car
Mazda are in a bit of a... Transitional period over here
You know what else? Subaru is a flex car here
Some people still think Subaru is a luxury brand, like on Merc level.

With all due respect, that's hilarious
Yeah, Subaru owners flex their cars
what region do you live in
Sadly, Philippines
because thats absolutley absurd to personally read that Subarus and Mercedes are on the same level
Some of the cocky ones do that here, but then the car guys remind them what they have to do to get 400 horsepower
But even here, Subaru SRPs are cheapers than Honda and even Toyota cars
Subaru was never a luxury brand in the 1st place
i dont think they ever tried to be honest
For example. A Subaru Forester entry level is priced similarly with a Toyota Rav4 and Honda CR-V entry level, but Forester is AWD and have more features than the Rav4 and CR-V which both are 2WD.
Up until like the mid 80s they were always the funky, gimmicky car brand
Exhibit A:
You get what I mean
i was gonna mention SVX was a 90s car
It was in the 80s that they started the transition into a mainstream brand
the Brat was kind of funky too
The 90s is when they were able to get that ball rolling from what I can gather
And for what it's worth they've done well in the "normal" sector pretty consistently
I'd say that lines up
That's why Subaru is actually cheap, so they're basically flexing their cheap car
now they are pretty much unremarkable, aside from their sports/sports-orientated cars
I suppose in a way that was their goal
Half of their identity is that blue and gold Impreza, the other half are boring soccer mom bricks
For some reason, Civic Type R is more expensive than WRX STi
But maybe the Type R is offering some promise, but I still prefer the WRX STi for AWD over Type R's FWD. If only the Type R has AWD.
i would still take the Civic TypeR over the WRX STi, especially if its what we have now
regardless of drivetrain
older ones are different story, though
New desk model arrived today.
QANTAS Boeing 787-9 Centenary livery.
@serene helm @noble grove
They prob cheap cause of the engine
Looks good
I may buy a 777 model once
But idk about their prices lel
Lmao
@serene helm more rhino posting
manual murci is the obvious chice for sure but theres lik 6 and i odubt the owners would sell
what do we think f the sf90
i would prefer a pista for looks but the sf90 is a pretty lighweight hybrid and probably the fastest non-electric car rn
i dont care if the LaFerrari is slower, i prefer that over the SF90
which is funny because when it came out, i wasnt impressed about the LaFerrari
but onyl actually started liking it a few months before the SF90 Stradale's release
i dont like the laferrari tbh
looks good in black or yellow form some angles but the rear 3/4 is weird
i like the f8 more than the sf90 but the sf90 is crazy
sf90xx maybe the best
Laferrari is timeless
show anyone the laferrari and they wouldnāt have guessed it was made in 2013
from the front yeah but from the back the taillights look dated
i mean if youve seen other ferraris
but otherwise yea
yes a bbj 777-9 would be nice
too bad its 450mil
the hybrid-hypercar of the mid 2010s all still look current
very true
You guys think that the upcoming gta drift tuning will turn AWD cars itno RWD?
Drift tuning?
Use #gta-questions
when you move a toy car, is it AWD?
It is hand propelled
So no wheel drive
Negative AWD
There are so many answers to your question with the given context
Like, what if you mean youāre "moving it" using a remote? What if you spin its wheels really fast and then release it?
What if you release it down a ramp?
but also
windup cars are always RWD
If it is an rc car or a push toy car then it has to have a layout configuration. But if it is a matchbox or little hotwheels then it doesn't
Depends on the chassy
Chassis
I have a good idea to make driving fun
Or at least shorten driving time
Maybe increase highway max speed limit
With turbocharged, V6 and V8 engines being kind of common, maybe the current max highway speeds are too slow?
some highways yes
if people use their brain when designing and building roads then we can easily do a lot faster
idk about american but here in aus our roads are shit
and we have some long ass roads through the middle of nowhere, filled with potholes and kangaroos
if they put some effort into proper fencing and proper roads we could have 250km speeds easy
this wont work because not everyone utilises logical thinking
too incompetent for increased highway speeds
and this the push or the fear for safety is already good enough reasoning
there is also budgeting or the lack of it
why build further facilities for better roads when it (just about) works fine now
The speed limit is designed for the idiot, not the average
Do joyriders count as idiots?
the speed limit is there on roads to say "what can a chimpanzee with one arm drive at safety" then they mark it as such
Speed and safety is completely relative. The factors include your reaction time, the car you are in, and the conditions such as type of road contact and weather
so a car with bald tires and an 85 year old may react to someone jumping in the road going 40mph and stop at the same time an a pro champion gt driver in a Ferrari going 90mph
not everyone is a pro driver in a supercar so speed limits are designed on the lower end so they are safe for everyone involved
So that's why speed limits are as it is although here in Ph, our gov't is studying a possibility to increase the max speed limit in certain big highways to reduce travel times. from 100km/h to 120km/h.
If it is a big multi lane highway 74mph (120km) is fine
typically here most people on highways go about 65-80mph
that is are usually range of speed on giant interstate highways in the US
It is a 6 lane 2 way road
Or rather 8-lane
I can't exactly remember
But our rule is left most lane is always clear because it's only for overtaking, not the fast lane
that is mostly universal thankfully, as it should be
it's not as enforced here as it should be
Oh, afaik, nobody is allowed to stay in the left most lane even if driving at max speed limit
There are left-lane hoggers who are apprehended here thankfully
That is how passing lanes should be, they are meant to be clear to pass people in front of you
traffic be gone
But for Edsa highway, left-most lanes are bus only lanes
and it allows emergency services to access the highway better
However, emergency vehicles, vehicles of president, VP, SP, house speaker and chief justice are allowed to use the bus only lanes
One more thing, I really wish go-karts and F1 become legal for road use. If motorcycles, tricycles and electric scooters can, why not those?
I'm willing to go to our family business with only a go-kart
Good
go karts do not last long enough to use daily and are wayy to low to the ground unless you have like a dune buggy styled one to which then i'd so go for it.
but even then the 2 stroke one cylinder in a go kart will only last like 50 miles if you don't push it
f1 cars absolutely do not make any seense to drive on real roads
Oh. Dune buggy styled? Almost reminds me of Glickenhaus Boot.
That is an offroad car that probably weighs a ton
i'm talking about a go kart with bigger wheels and a decent ground clearance
the engine reliability would still be an issue, the only solution is to make it an ev
To which then i'd say why not, it sounds fun. Motorcycles and scooters are around, might as well have little karts in urban areas as well
Thats why I like self driving electric cars
Let the NPCs use them and raise speed limits
I would even be ok with some kind of performance driver training for a high speed license or something
This is about as close as you'll get
The Ariel Atom is a road-legal high performance open-wheel car made by the British Ariel Motor Company based in Crewkerne, Somerset, England, and under license in North America by TMI Autotech, Inc. at Virginia International Raceway in Alton, Virginia.
There have been eight Ariel Atom generations to date: Ariel Atom, Ariel Atom 2, Ariel Atom 3 (...
Wow, the design looks really good
Yea the Bac Mono is sick
Go karts and F1 cars are FAR from being safe enough to be road legal
I donāt want to imagine someone being ran over by a formula 1 when they have things like this
a steward got split in half on the f1 track before
EXACTLY
also forgot to mention that F1 cars are all made of carbon fiber and itās sharp af
doesnt have to be sharp at that speed
Karts have very shitty suspension and theyāre not fit for the road
Theyāre also uncomfortable af
drove a rental kart yesterday and my shoulders were fucked afterwards
Ford biggest advocate back at it again with the hot garbage takes
Oh now his name is e-suv advocate
100% trolling
F1 car on the roads would be amazing to see but it should most definitely not be a road car lmao
They donāt have any suspension or differentials
But you could get away with driving one in Manhattan or some really urban area with decently paved roads
There are many videos of f1 cars driving on public roads
^yes but they were closed roads obviously
Not always
@kind osprey we had this conversation before about E-karts
drove one yesterday
it wasnāt that fast but it was an indoor track so it felt quick
Most of them are like 30-50mph which for indoors is pretty good
I would love to do outdoor but itās cold af unfortunately
Analog feel maybe
Yes but kph
itās obviously not going that fast because the track was available for younger kids
That in km/h is like 50-80
I had to convert it
I canāt do specific ones in my head yet lol
I meant 30-50 kph
Thatās pretty slow for a go kart
The local place I race at solves the kid and npc issue by being duel track and having two different modes
āSemi proā and āProā which is really
āChildren/no clue what Iām doingā and āRegularā
The semi pro is like 28mph and the regulars go up to low 40 ish
there were mostly NPCs and 1 person that knew what he was doing
They have a league race where you compete for prizes and they completely unlock the limiters god only knows what those do when unhinged
oof
xD
both work

Got what he deserved
you suck at driving
if you could only own 1 car and you need it for daily driving, road trips, and fun driving/track days, what would it be
no budget and all costs, fuel maintenance etc are covered, but if you break down you dont have a car until its repaired
but you only own 1 vehicle
I think the RS6...
toyota pickup
you gon take a hilux on a canyon drive or a track day?
Koenigsegg gemera

M3 touring
Probably a nissan patrol y61 tb48
never really liked the GUs tbh
but id take a chopped gq patrol šÆ
tb48 is good tho
W
Tb48 would fk up any other 4x4 stock engine icl
The perfect family vehicle

hellllll yeah
load her up with some rocket fuel and we're going
tbh, i'd just go for something reliable and useful. nothing beats a pickup on that.
Panamera
I was torn between that and the RS6..
It's reliable, good looking and not that expensive (the 2010-2011 ones)
I am not a fan of that generation's styling, but it's a smarter buy than the RS6 for sure
The worst looking porsche is def the 1st gen cayenne
A guy that lives in my buddy's apartment complex still dailys one lol
rs6 would be pick over panamera but i dont like wagoon
I love the wagon, but I think the panamera would be the better one to actually own.
Idk. I'm still torn.
I usually have to drive a lot of body parts so putting a bonnet in the trunk of a sedan is really hard hahahah
I'd take a 997.2 Carrera S as a daily, fits my needs + you get a sports car that's practical
Sometimes impossible if it's too big
Yeah
Im a painter
yeah i thought you meant like human body parts
š
assuming you had a normal job and only needed to carry normal things what would you pick
really? which models?
If I won the lottery and wanted to drive around town to grab something to eat this would be my go to
it is subtle enough to where no one gives a shit about it, modern enough to feel comfortable, and old enough to feel fun and analog
yes, but paint it blue and people will instantly recognize it
a generation too old but it will make a good Sally's cousin lol
I can't believe they sold a basic 992 911 for $3.6mil just because they called it sally like they could've put more effort into that one off
If EVs sounded like this I might just think about driving one
I neutral bombed it if you're confused about that start
The Terzo Millennio sounds pretty sweet too
wait is that not a 996
Nope, this is a 993 (the gen before the 996 and also the last aircooled 911)
ahhh
headlights confused me
a special white GT2RS sold for a million dollars
from the white collection
that has all kinds of white Porsches, even the 918 in all white
I'd probably pick any RS6, preferably the C7
or any perfomance wagon for matter
I dont think or recall hearing anything reliable about performance wagons though, especially the E61 M5 Touring
If i cant have a wagons to fang about in (a shame), i guess i would gor for its nearest sedan equivalent š
Prefacelift F90 M5 is the bomb and my favourite part is that it doesnt look like it
I suppose if i have to have a nkn front-engine car, ive heard how usuable the GMA T.50
If the folks at TopGear arent licking the boots off Gordan Murray and and Murray exaggerating, then its really a car that does what you want it to do, with comparatively decent luggage "space", it has the staggered three seat design in the style of the McLaren F1, and absolutely unique on the fan aspect alone
Probably the most analogue cutting-edge car right now
Ove only started thinking about that yesterday when I saw an article while looking at the Cosworth website for fun
It was lime green, it reminded me of a frog but it made me want one more
Holy fuck... $340,000 IN OPTIONS?!?!
The car is $340,000 base
Jesus
Porsche how do you manage that
Yeah lmao
options as much as the car
I probably spent an hour scrolling through every car in the white collection
thereās some porches from the 50s and 60s
I just want the weissach gt2 in a basic ass gray and be done with it. I'm not paying $650,000 for a $300,000 car
That's insane
And for it to be a million 4 years later
Like these people are insane
So the launch color
yes, itās called āthe white collectionā
cheapest car Iāve seen yet is a 944
sold for just 40 grand
It must've been a very nice example to be $40,000
Pristine condition
Those things can be found in hillybilly towns for $6k
What a nice secret santa present
He asked for an anime figure but no he will recieve carburetors
a 993 turbo S sold for 800 grand
yeah
Damn
Um for the 918
Normal ones go for $1.8-$2.5
So I'd assume 3 mil
For the overpriced white one
I'm a 4 bedroom house in a city suburb off

Are these cars all factory white
Cause if so I'm gonna buy a Porsche in white just for the resale lmao
$84,000 for this?
Yeah
Thereās literally a tractor from the late 50s for almost 60k
It's not white
I can't believe they would do such a despicable thing
Who tf is paying $60,000 for a tractor
if you keep looking you can find a racing beetle
ok hereās another, a 993 GT2
guess the price it was sold at
If I was just stupid rich I would buy that tractor for the sole purpose of driving it to the local Porsche dealership for a "missing part" that I just took off myself
I just wanted to see the employees faces
xD
thereās another red tractor in there
That was sold for 50k as well
but yeah, 97ā 911 GT2
I doubt it was even remotely close to the price it was sold at
I'd send in my resignation letter next day lol
993 gt2's go for easily over a million nowadays
fuck that
Itās one of its kind
Itās cheaper than the modern tractors
it's just a mayor manx with tiny AG/Porsche rims
who is paying 80k for that
collectors
even if this thing was brand new parts and from factory condition I don't think it is worth over 2
that is actually fucking insane
Regular pristine examples go for half this
This might be the only normal priced one
These normally go for 500
https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/wc23/the-white-collection/lots/r0064-2016-porsche-911-gt3-rs/1397678
Someone really bought this just to drive it 30 miles
30 miles...
how tf do you own a gt3 rs and drive it 30 miles
Probably just drove it home and never again
That's disgusting
tf can I trade this for
Why are there so many random ass European fire trucks for sale
someone must've had a lot sale on these
$24,000 isn't bad for that
Now this is something I wouldn't mind bidding on
Only 3,465 miles I would be happy to get this for under $300k
yep
so overpriced
the white collection gt3 rs was combinded with the 918 so i understand the price difference
it was like a sub car package sort of how the amg one comes with a gtr black series
But that is all just bragging rights which i couldn't give less of a shit about, I will buy this car to drive around industrial New Jersey and go to Planet Fitness
I don't want a pristine one haha
The only thing i can use that fire truck for is parades
or part it out
True
rent it for block parties lol
Ohhh
I never knew a GT3RS came with a 918 order
but the gt3 rs is like the only car i have ever driven where I was crying to go back in the thing it just isn't like other supercars idk what tf Porsche does
Porsche actually cares about the Motorsport side
for someone to just buy it, put 30 miles on it and leave it sickens me
like that's crazy
the person with the least miles on their Porsche loses
exactly
the white collection lost
give me a GT3/3RS/2RS and Iām daily driving that thing idc
It would be funny if Porsche designed engines to fail on purpose if they're not driven
That is kinda why I dislike irreplaceable cars, it makes me afriad of pushing them
I never experienced one on regular public roads but I assume it feels like shit haha
This is way cheaper than that 80k red go kart šš
imagine bidding on a 918 for 4 million dollars just for the engine to not start
To some extent parts do fail or degrade if not used enough so it very well could be if they weren't maintained as well as they are
they are paying people to upkeep cars they never drive
which adds insult to injury
I remember seeing a 997 GT3RS (?) thinking it was a āregular Porscheā when I was younger
Smh
I mean back then I didn't give a shit about trims or generations so i would have thought the same
"Ooo porsche with wing"
xD
trims and special editions for some cars are just as convoluted as sneaker collecting. People will pay double the asking rate for a fucking color or special stripe
I vow to not be that type of person when loaded as fuck and just buy shitty versions of cars to beat them up
I think the owner of it had an aftermarket exhaust because the turbo whistle was audible from a distance
Why would I give myself a reason not to drive the car
I don't think I ever saw one on the street like in the wild they are too rare
I probably saw them at car shows but here people use "public transit"
I hate dense cities
no fun cars
Exactly
ohh I thought you said 993 gt2rs
give me a GT2RS and Iām taking it to the track every other day
nah GT2rs
My mind is boggling words and phrases
Iāve yet to find the 992 RS, or the regular GT3 for that matter
germans aree confusing
I've seen a handful of regular 992 gt3's but never a gt3rs those are fucking insane
with that big flat wing
$1,000,000 difference, same car
i feel like I am looking at a sneaker auction
wait till you see the MR aero package for it
was caught testing on the Nurburgring
They'll get about as much mileage after purchase; what's the difference
Yea nobody is buying used sneakers
If I had enough money in highschool I would have hoarded more new shoes I knew which ones still had room to go up but children don't have money
I wonder if itāll even pass regulations
they deadass looked at the regular GT3RS wing and thought āhmm, thatās a bit too smallā
If I was going to get a road going porsche I wasn't going to track i'd probably get a well specced gts
which is like $200,000
turbo S tbh
just in case I needed the extra power
oh and specced in Ruby star red
or if I was filthy richer, a Dakar
If need be I could make the gts a turbo the same way teenagers make their m340i into an m3 haha
it's not classy but it works
One time a kid rolled up to roll in a Mercedes AMG Black series
dakar is so useless I would have trobule justifing buying that thing
idk when i would use it
