Sedan ground clearance and typical crossover suv ground clearance differences are extremely miniscule. Crossovers and suvs are absolutely useless unless the utility is needed (seat more than 5, carry or moving large volumes of stuff, or towing)

85% of people who drive an suv would not have any major changes in their life if they just got a lighter, more efficient, and gas saving sedan or wagon from the same brand.

If you are avidly towing a boat and driving on gravel and muddy dirt/snow constantly while moving small furniture. Then yes a sedan doesn't make sense

But most people over consume and are told by a long ignorant game of telephone that they need higher ground clearance and a heavy sluggishly handling suv when all they do is commute to work on paved roads in urban areas

I absolutely hate the idea of supercar suvs, it is such a contradiction to the core of what entails a car to be good. The Aston Martin Rolls and Bentley Suv's make sense because they are aimed at luxury over everything, but a Ferrari suv is a pretty sickening thought

On paper SUVs don't offer much advantage in terms of ground clearance or even space but the whole driving experience is more 'dailyable'

It's not a quantifiable metric tbh but there's something about SUVs that are just more comfortable to daily, even if it is only a placebo effect

And I have no problem with supercar SUVs as long as they are good

The Ferrari one is trash, Aston is trash, Porsche is mid
Bentayga and rolls are luxury

The Urus and the x5m are really the only performance SUVs
(There's trackhawk etc but thats just big power, not actually sporty)

I would rather daily a Urus than pretty much any sedan including an m5

Super SUVs handle better and are faster than 90s sports car

The Urus is literally a supersized hot hatch, it is fun to drive and has 5 seats
