yes and it was near-objectively a better car for it, made during a time where everyone though that the 2nd gen NSX was going to be a V10 or at the very least a V8 derived from the HSV-010 GT
so of course it would be disappointing to fans when they hear that the next NSX would be 'diluted', and that its concepts which could be leading up to it would remain concepts and prototypes
plus the NSX was its halo model, why not give it flagship features

Mercedes however already has a ICE-battery-hybrid unit on some cars, and while they also have EV drivetrains, it would have been closer to the C111 concept from wankel rotary to hybrid rather than rotary to EV
with that saying, it makes more sense for it to be an EV, cnosidering the future direction that Mercedes is heading to

weird trend im feeling right now: carmakers are reinventing headlights
the regular headlights we usually know and love have become these 1mm thick led bars up top, then they add some actual lights somewhere below, which is now becoming more obvious, hence, the headlights have been reborn

The r8 is really nice but people tend to make them out to be the same as the huracan. There are a lot of differences that make up that $100,000 price difference

Between the two of them the p1 might drive better
