S660?
Yeah
Some tuning firms like SS-works and PHASE modify them for track events
Really quick cars actually because they weigh next to nothing
Pretty cool Eunos/MX-5 alternative
I would love to try driving one, It feels like its the same philosophy as the MX-5, having fun even in the speed limit
Quite a quick car even if it only has a 660 cc engine
Quicker than a Torneo to 45 but after that it's pretty much in the dust
I want to buy a lightweight 2 seater, but there are close to no option
I'm not overpaying for a NA/NB miata, had a NC2, NDs are still out of my price range, W30 MR2s now cost for some reason 15k
and 2nd Elise also skyrocketed in price in the past few years
I came into ownership of an FTO for a short while, you can pick up an AT/GPX for quite cheap now
Pretty fun 2-seater sports coupe
2.0L V6 w/ Mivec if you opt for the GR which is a bit more pricey
The GPV-R is the best of the best but it's pretty much out-of-reach nowadays from a cost perspective
20-25k for a nice one
FTOs are cheap in Japan maybe, definitely not in Europe
and if i wanted to import one, its like 5-7k for transport and paperwork
Yeah definitely wouldn't recommend that unless you're able to pick one up for less than 3k
Can only get an AT for that threshold and those early autos are really sluggish
MX-3/Lantis/323 are cheap here too but I dunno about elsewhere
The BG GT I mean not the later 323F
Though it's a 4-door

I guess ill stick to dreaming about owning a 996 in the far future
I just want a fiero
Yeah the first Fieros were problematic and underwhelming but the last year GT fixed all of em and made it a lot more fun
And it's a mid engined car that doesn't look midengine
I'm not a fan of the gt. I love the 1988 Formula's all the 88's are fine 84-87 are the bad ones that I would avoid.
The gt kinda looks fat and puffy, the regular Formula reminds me of an mr2 and is just a nice straight to the point design
Yeah like I said final year it was fixed
I like the Fiero alone tbh
This is similar to the one I had it had the wing but it had different rims they weren't black
It gives off the mr2 and f348 vibe and i love that type of small sports car styling
I would kill to have a fiero again because I didn't have a license when i owned it so I never got to drive it much
They got a bit expensive but the ones I see for sale have low miles and are in good condition at least
Yeah... and honestly I'd build it up to be quite fast...
I'd probably coyote swap it tbh
I know, I know... the most mid swap imaginable but still...
I need gta to add a mclaren 765lt
a lot of people LS swap them so there may be some aftermarket guidance on that front
a v8 in that thing must be crazy, you lose the trunk space in the back but yea it'll zoom after that
Trunks are overrated anyway
xD
We made the Focus into a monster though so it's not something foreign
Omg, the car from el camino!
Haha
What a nice escalade
(Oppressor mark I-II idea)
You know when you go to a public lobby and there is that one guy with a oppressor mark II that blows you up… Well what if it didn’t lock on you until you killed that guy? This way we don’t have to wait 5 minutes, and please ban those 9 year old kids who scream “give me back my car” “stop killing me” like they are louder than asmr video on 2 times the volume!
(I’m texting here because I don’t have access to mark 2 channel)
is there a sheriff car u can buy?
bc this guy has 1 and idk if he modded it or not it has a different siren sound
are those aftermarket taillights becaues the looks like a older verion
PC moment
No
I swear those are just stolen from a new escalade or something
i agreee
She's one hell of a project but a extremely difficult one
Think like this
It was a small company and made the fewest engines in the 1960s with only one year like this
And they've been out of business for god knows how long
You'll have more luck finding a Chevy S10 EV battery
"The results of the Turbo Study.
Carbon fiber bodywork in Wolf Blue.
The iconic Whale Tail rear spoiler reimagined.
Powered by a 3.8L, twin-turbocharged, air-cooled flat six. "
- Singer Vehicle Design

Please sumbody help me I can not get into bennys cuz lamar hasn't called me and the LD logo I'd not on my map this is a moded account I got its a 1117 level
Wtf💀
That's one weird looking car
what a terrible day to have eyes
Bahaha
rappers wet dream
@kind osprey
You're going to fucking love this
LETS
FUCKING
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I knew it

Real talk though that's an absolutely huge sigh of relief
Now if only California were to reciprocate this decision...
(that's never happening)
@kind osprey what
how
bugatti is part of vw
how is bugatti exempt but lambo isnt
just
what
Lamborghini makes over like 10,000 cars a year now
they may get exceptions for special models hopefully
they fucken better
yeah because bugatti really fell out of fashion
either way, how many people that own lambos actually daily drive them
i can guarantee you it's like
less than 5%
so stupid
Probably even less
yeah honestly
Excluding the Audi q8 rs with a bodykit, there are probably about 60 Lamborghini's in my borough or about like a 7-8 mile radius
60 real ones like huracan/aventador
That may be pushing it low
but that is my guess
it's just stupid
and the thing is
high performance cars like this are often way cleaner than regular commuter cars because the engines are tuned to the point of eeking out everything possible
and thus they run 'fairly' clean
add in efuels and it's like
almost nothing
a guy in america won a huracan or something, drove it into a frozen lake on the way back and made local headlines kek
Driving an 80,000lb truck and driving a supercar are quite different
Well yes the supercar is supposed to be easier
Most people probably aren't used to how supercars drive
And the mercí was made before Lamborghinis were tamed
So it still has the will-try-and-kill-you-if-you-drive-it-wrong capabilities
Plus apparently the icy conditions and rubber-band tires did not mix well
Who would have thought
Cars like Ferraris and Lamborghini's produce a lot more emissions and have shit fuel economy like mile per gallon etc.
But the thing nobody understands
Is that these types of cars only get driven on average 2000-3000 miles a year
And there are so few of them in existence
So in a broad overview they aren't even a noticeable pollution factor
The Bugatti Chiron gets 13 mph highway 💀
The murcielago was made after the audi acquisition so the truck driver was probably just a reckless idiot
Diablo's are the last scary scary Lamborghini
Clarkson made it a point that it would still try and kill you
Maybe not as harshly as the Diablo but it still had a bit of it
It's also awd so that can be a blessing or a curse depending on the situation
I'm curious if it was the first or second version
Cuz I believe the Merci got somewhat of a refresh at some point during it's lifespan
Yea they all do since they run production for so long
Idk the exact year
But there are noticeable differences from a 2002 compared to a 2010
pre-face models were pretty harsh, the awd system got fixed in the later model
@kind osprey
Speaking of speed though
My grandpa
thousand miles an hour
IN A ROCKET ON WHEELS CAR
Ignore the fact it literally is a rocket on wheels
@jagged sentinel 👀
@mint plank 👀
See above
I've seen the 'car' in person at multiple motorshows
It's so fucken cool
Idk what it is but Australians love to go fast lmfao
This is beyond drag racing
This is the land speed record
The holy grail
what car u got?
hyundai i20N
The Hyundai i20N is the entry-level into N Performance...but is it actually the sweet spot in the 2022 N Range? And would you have one of these over the legendary I30N? Let us know in the comments below...

I didnt even know the i20 had an N model
theirs a i20N WRC car
😭😭
I'm not really a Hyundai fan tbh, seen the i30 N plenty of times though
its a fun corner rascal
@jagged sentinel it's a bomber interceptor
Yes, I can read
I misinterpreted what "interceptor" meant
Ah ok
I was under the impression interceptors were for long-range interceptions A La Tomcat or Phantom
Or MiG 31
MiG 31, not 29
Nah, that's for modern times, back then most were relatively short range
I feel like the 262 would better fit the role of a long-range interceptor
Most planes didn't have much fuel, kinda why the YB-40 existed
Assuming the range was all that
YF-23 is the better plane
YB-40 was one hell of a plane
Yeah a modern jet is better than a WWII gunship
Nothing beats the B series bombers
It's like saying a mustang is better than a Ford Model T
You're comparing a borderline future Stealth fighter prototype to a bomber gunship from the 40s
Better example, a nuclear submarine to a canoe
Or a light machine gun to a rock
Hell, a V6 turbo hybrid F1 car to a Big Block Chevelle
I remember the "rock shooter", the B-25H with the T-13 75mm cannon
262 wasn't an interceptor
Interceptors are designed for scrambles, 262 was designed for CAP and CAS (Fighter-bomber)
Hear me out for a second what if we still had the B series bombers in today’s world
Modern interceptor? F-15

Obsolete
They would be torn to shreds
We.... do?
And that gunship was the shit if was a senior pilot and was allowed to name her
They are vintage and antiques. Some are somewhat flyable
Old 20mm rounds would shred them, now modern 20 and 30mm HEPF rounds will disintegrate them
@tulip parcel wut
The "B" in a name is a classification
I mean the grandpas of the group
^
"B" indicates Bomber
Yeah
B-52 first flew in the 50s, and it's gonna be flying til at least the 50s
2050^
The more you know
C for cargo
F for fighter
A for Attack (ground attack, Close Air support)
Y for prototype
Chinook is almost as old
I wanna see grandpa B-52 in action
Once more
Nahh we just have to give them some 2023 love and care
E is for electronic warfare or something
Just like F means fighter, A means attack, Y is prototype, X is experimental, R is recon (interchangeable with U)
E is AWACS/EW
Close enough
They won’t as long as we believe 🤣
And C is cargo
.
And K is air tanker
Only one I found odd
I thought they might do T for it, never understood K
Okay boys here’s a question if you had enough money to buy one unarmed 5th gen fighter what would you get and why
I'd get WWII aircrafts, much cheaper and not really too much of a fan of new fighter looks compared to old planes
I’ll say the SU-57 because I want to experience a new jet and have a plane that nobody else does in the states. Fly at my own rate
You’re right but if you want a fully functioning World War II plane it’s gonna cost you like 1 million -2 million
Get the Chinese copy of the F-35 😎
Dude, that's pennies to a 5th generation fighter
I would say that America’s fifth GEN fighter is all right and after that whole balloon debacle, two weeks ago, it does do well with non-targets but again and he playing that is overhyped is dusted to failure, if not tested on the Battlefield and not in the movies
We have 2
Not the Chinese copy the Russian option
At the end of the day with the Russian fifth GEN fighter even though it’s unarmed I want to keep the stealth attachments so I could be left alone in peace
We have two of their planes in America
We have 2 5th gen fighters
Bruh, if you fly a 5th gen Russian fighter, you'll be shot down the second anyone sees you
Well we have a few hundred but we have 2 different 5th gen fighter designs
If you're over the U.S at least
It really is pennies when you think about it because I would honestly get a plane from the graveyard and work from there
Unless you can somehow get an IFF signature that doesn't translate to "death sentence"
That’s it?! Just two? Now 1,000?
A 5th generation fighter is 79 million USD while WWII aircrafts are in the 4 million range
I would just change the call sign and the planes color scheme. Therefore I wouldn’t be seen as the enemy.
@tulip parcel see this message
You'll lose the stealth tech then as the paint is specially designed to avoid radar
Doesn't change the silhouette of the aircraft
So we can say that the World War II aircraft is the Ford focus of the plane world and the fifth GEN fighter is the Lamborghini option
More like the Koenigsegg option
Oh okay I see it now
Then put a wrap over it and keep the paint under it
Indeed
Yeah but WWII aircrafts sound so damn good! It's like a 1969 Plymouth roadrunner with a 440 magnum compared to a McLaren Sienna
Wrap won't work
It doesn’t, but when you get a foreign aircraft, that is the newest generation or the youngest generation to retire, you have to look as friendly as you can possible in America or another country. Therefore, you’re not shut down.
And the road runner is a much better option
You can't just cover stealth paint and think it'll remain stealth
Damn well I work with what I got and make sure the FCC leaves me alone lol
It would ruin the special paint under it
Approaching US soil in a highly classified, rare aircraft developed by a country in tense standings like the SU-57 is going to make A LOT of people very nervous
Its way more complicated than that, you're flying a military aircraft in a foreign nation, even if the callsign is changed, when they see a Sukoi in a country where they shouldn't be and not on U.S military comms, they'll gun you down... it's a national security risk
But it would make a lot of people interested in the arms market and the intelligence in the military because the first thing they want to do once seeing this aircraft on land in America is to research it even more and find more weaknesses. They will pay top dollar just to have the plane alone.
Sheesh so keep this beautiful girl in a hanger then while I sort it out
Pretty much, she'll have to be a hangar queen or get permission and be on civilian-military comms so they know you're a civilian
That's assuming they already know what the fuck the deal is with an SU-57 with an unknown paint scheme flying over US soil
Most planes like 1/ fifth GEN including the six GEN fighters around the corner are going to be gold mine for any country if you can bring them one in full condition with no issues. They will happily pay you as much as you want for the plane and go to work
And there’s more because at the end of the day, they would have to fly with me to make sure I’m not shot down by someone with a trigger finger
If they shoot you down because of a "trigger finger" they'd get in trouble
The thing is that they have five Sue 57s in Russia or 10 as I heard about it so them losing one of them is very bad and when this plane was seen at the last arms convention made a lot of people want this aircraft and still do
They'd more likely fly with you to make sure you're not a threat and have military personnel check the plane when it lands
Turning a fighter jet into a meteor comes with its own set of risks
And you
Here’s the funny thing if I decide to land at an airport with the plane, I’ll be left alone in peace
Lmao
Like a driving instructor but I have to call them in advance just to leave
Agreed
Like you said yourself the government would love to get their incompetent little hands all over that craft
You and I both know that any airline that sees this plane right next to them will not bother at all
Agreed and they will pay you or me as much money as we could think of or any amount of zeros that can fit onto a paper check just to get the aircraft
The fuck are they supposed to do? Brake check you?
I think if I had this plane and I wanted to sell it to them my asking price would be $150 million
cuts you off mid flight
That’s the last thing they want to do knowing my plane has hidden weapons inside of it
That was rhetorical statement
Yeah, the plane cut you off midflight and then you start terrorizing it with your acrobatic fifth GEN fighter
Threatening airlines now are we?
Make like the movie Air Force One and steal the plane mid flight 😎
That's a one-stop-shop to making you and your craft an enemy of the state
But let’s be real here the US has a lot going for F 15 fighter because it’s not really stealthy it’s more of a heavy, handed boxer, and the shoe 57 is Russia’s version of a Muaythai warrior
It's a 4.5 gen fighter
One is acrobatic and one is heavy handed
We have quite a few of those
Oh yeah my apologies
Thing is you don’t really have to threaten airline with weapons just scared the life out of them with random maneuvers and that’s enough
One is a multirole, one is an Air Superiority fighter with thrust vectoring and a bunch of other stuff
F16 better because number higher 😎
Listen, we’re not Vin Diesel
So we're endangering them? How's that any different?
The F 16 verses to Sue 57 we’re not talking about simulations why’s the two planes would do well in a fight against each other
OK so instead of doing maneuvers, just wave them by going side to side
Now the real question, rocket cessna versus F-35 😎
Agreed and you know I want to see if a billionaire can buy both planes go through that horrific process
No, here’s a better one put a Rolls-Royce V 12 engine inside of a Cessna versus an F 35
Good luck buying an SU-57 lol
You know, these billionaires have connections to get that plane
It’s a simple phone call and throwing of money to get it
And then the government shuts you down
Hell, even the military would happily give you their fifth GEN fighter as long as they keep their mouth shut as do you
Steal it, I steal jets all the time at Fort Zancudo 😎
Because it's a largely classified project
That’s a thing you’re a billionaire you have no limits towards keeping it hush-hush about your new plane
That I highly doubt they'd just let a random civilian get their hands kn
Agreed
A random civilian that they do business with from their bank
A civilian is a civilian
Except a private civilian
Us normal people don’t have that amount of rights like a private civilian does
Wrong, when you know too much, a civilian is a unarmed combatant
A civilian is a civilian
Agreed like if you were an undercover billionaire and you are normal civilian then the military finds out you’re so screwed
What I mean by that is they become a liability as soon as they're given access to classified info
There's a reason we banned the sale of the F-22 to... Anyone but ourselves, really
The thing is that billionaires are private citizens, and I mean very private citizens so most military don’t mind handing over classified info as long as they can. Trust you to not say a damn word, nor use it for any opposite country.
Source
Must put the civilian down before you they kill you, the firing squad fears for their life
And that’s the fun part we can buy it for ourselves so that means your best friend in that other city in America can happily buy himself a new fifth GEN fighter and fly it around
Point being the government isn't dumb enough to let a civilian get access to classified info
The F-22 is getting phased out
Look at the world we live in like there is one billionaire that won’t tell you that they have bought a military aircraft that is fully armed to the teeth and hasn’t cut corners to make it happen
Who will take its place?
Well ofc they won't, and I know how strict it is, I work at Boeing and they're up my ass about anything that has internet, even a smart watch
Makes sense
To be honest, I don’t think the six GEN fighters are ready yet from either country, including us like a lot more needs to be done to perfect that kind of machine before even selling it
Except Donald trump
A civilian is a civilian
And I don't even work on anything but the Chinook and the V-22
It
Does
Not
Matter
How
Much
Money
They
Have
Imagine you worked at Lockheed Martin because what Boeing is doing to you right now will make Lockheed Martin look nice
I’m not saying that I’m using our previous present as an example
Lockheed are a bunch of pricks
I didn’t buy anything out, but had access to mountains of classified info
They become a liability the second they learn information they aren't supposed to know
What about skunk Works?
Totally not because I'm biased btw
Oh, so like the area 51 thing
But 10 times worse
Manhattan project
Bro, it’s skunk works like any engineer anybody in the aircraft world would die to get a chance to work at skunk Works
Oh yeah, that’s Hella secret
Doesn't mean the people there are nice
Not nearly as much as it used to be
Also there is many things that are still secret but not classified, I told @jagged sentinel about the Model 2500 GEM
Of course, they are nice like those are very professional, men and women that don’t have time to do office parties in such because they’re working on aircraft are so sensitive that you can’t even talk nor mention of it
And s/he knew nothing about it
I believe the Manhattan project is largely declassified by this point
What do you mean like who knows the secret of the Manhattan project how in the hell are they still alive?
But at the time very few people who participated in the Manhattan project knew what they were making
Most is but people don't bother looking into it
You mean that model?
No, as in the government has largely declassified it
Because they think little of it, or it’s just a project that needs to be shown to keep the public away
Like we know very well that there is seventh to eighth GEN fighters that are already in the testing face but we just don’t know about it
I don't really see a point in keeping it a secret anymore
Indeed
Considering how many countries have nukes
People don't really know we had "flying cars", it was classified for a long ass time
And the Manhattan wasn't even the most expensive project we conjured up
Yeah, nobody knows and the government wants to keep it. That way there for people can still watch it in movies and keep it on a idea bored.
And the fact is that no countries playing around anymore
It was declassified in 1992 and I even have all the specs for it saved on my phone, people just don't know about it
Oh wow and since you have it, I have a suggestion for you
Change the power source to plasma energy
...
It’s more resourceful
How do you expect him to go about doing that
You know you’re surrounded by plasma, energy, right? It doesn’t have to simply come from a thunderstorm that you see it’s free energy. You can sit in your house and make it happen with a small science project that you bought from Walmart.
No getting plaza is one thing, but maintaining it in a controlled vacuum is another
We know that but how am I supposed to redesign two outdated plane engines to plasma energy
Do we even have the know-how to create a propulsion system that uses plasma energy? And make it cost-effective?
Take your time at the end of the day obtaining the source of energy is not the problem, but keeping it in a well maintained temperature state therefore the engine doesn’t blow up is the main question
Fuck, I am gonna redesign a Boeing 747 to be wind powered 💀
We do, but we can’t mine it because it’s too far down
You act like this shit can be done in an afternoon
And afternoon of 10 years of hard work
And like I'm smart enough to do it 💀
The thing is that it can be done, but you need the right materials for the full succession
And the knowledge
And the time
And the money
And the manpower
And parts
That too
Also to find one of these
You are smart enough like hell you work at Boeing for godsake
Bro
Start small work your way up
It's Boeing, not fucking skunk works
Test out which material would work the best and then use it
I thought bowling was a Ferrari of the plane world
I operate the machinery to make the carbon fibre panels and work on the engines, I can't redesign a fucking 70 year old engine to run on plasma
They're like the Ford or General motors
Ohhhh so you are the connection for the suppling of it all
Indeed
It’s still a multi role
they both have larger RCS than the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet, which is a RCS reduced aircraft and '4th gen'
The stealth is still there
the su57 according to THE RUSSIAN MILITARY
is not stealth
Oh I know they're not stealth but was earlier saying that painting or wrapping over stealth paint would fuck it over
Low observable and stealth aren't the same
Don’t believe everything that you hear
Anybody can lie to you with simple words
Doesn't the F-15EX have some sort of low observability tech
yeah no, i belive the radar returns
Yeah, similar to the super hornet
Reduced RCS
Do you also believe that they are just trying to make sure it doesn’t come up on radar
They say one thing, but they don’t want that plane to be seen at all during combat
That's literally what low observability aims to do lmfao
you really have no idea how stealth works do you
I Actually, do
Really now
The blip goes off my minimap 😎
Lmao
GTA 5 target sound effect
Low observable and stealth aren't designed to make planes invisible. They're designed to reduce the distance to which an aircraft can be seen, not make them entirely invisible
Okay. Simple question. is the RCS of a stealth aircraft a constant figure.
Isn't it technically impossible for a plane to have no RCS
Stealth 101, but you and I know there’s more to the describing of stealth than what you’re saying now
A complex statement to
@tulip parcel
Also it incorporates radar-absorbing materials into its construction, and these materials, which can be applied as coatings or incorporated into the aircraft's structure, absorb radar energy and prevent it from being reflected back to the radar receiver
For now
No, it's impossible
it's a simple question. Yes or no.
lmfao
For us in this century, not for anybody else in the future like hell, RCS will be gone one century but yet we will still have it
Lol agreed
it is 100% impossible. Even aircraft that are invisible to the eye will still have radar returns
I'll go uninvent it 😎
I’ll go into the future and bring the device to show it then lol
are you gonna answer the question or keep dodging it
Go and back to the future huh
No
There's no such thing as complete stealth, if a radar is powerful enough or is close enough, it can detect the best stealth plane
Exactly. and that disproves your 'no RCS aircraft' theory
because a RCS isn't a constant figure
The f-22 has a higher radar return from the sides and rear than it does the front, just like every other stealth aircraft
For me, but trust me, you know someone’s going to bring back up this topic one day
Because they stuff everything in the front of that goddamn nose
and the F-22 is designed to counter short range high wave air defence radars. Not OHR LW radars like JORN.
JORN has been used to test the f-22 and f-35, and it's spotted it from thousands of miles out
The Jindalee Operational Radar Network (JORN) is an over-the-horizon radar (OHR) network that can monitor air and sea movements across 37,000 square kilometres (14,000 sq mi). It has a normal operating range of 1,000 kilometres (620 mi) to 3,000 kilometres (1,900 mi). It is used in the defence of Australia, and can also monitor maritime operatio...
Lemme just hop 2099 and see what’s up lol
I mean until we can find a way for radar waves to pass straight through aircraft like it isn't there, RCS is going to exist
Thank you for the link information about the end of the day. You’re right as a my, and I have my wrongs too, but in the end everything is built and made to surpass the previous generation which means this radar system that you’re speaking of and we both know of may be ideal in today’s time, but in the future, it will be turned away for something new and better
Indeed
Yknow, the RAAF says the range of JORN is '1000 to 3300km' meanwhile they've released radar pictures of the J-20 taking off IN CHINA. if they're gonna undervalue it's range, the least they could do is try to stick to it lmfao @jagged sentinel
May our future grandchildren make it happen
Agreed lmao
Assuming the countries with nukes don't reduce us to sticks and stones
Exactly, and making it literally invisible will still reflect radar waves, you can null it a lot and it'll be off radar from a long distance away or with a weaker radar but you can always overwhelm it with a stronger radar and also if it's close enough
Hope the grandpa who is in charge right now does it force them to?
like, speaking of astronomically powerful radars, JORN is also a maritime search radar, and it was used to spot suspected pieces of debris when MH370 went down.
Like fucken floating parts of an aircraft thousands of miles away
like
wtf lmao @jagged sentinel
Shit's wild
JORN is so sensitive it is able to track planes as small as a Cessna 172 taking off and landing in East Timor 2600 km away. Current research is anticipated to increase its sensitivity by a factor of ten beyond this level.
It's on fucking crack
LITERALLY
Helps when you're surrounded by nothing but ocean
like, there's a reason the US uses JORN to test their stealth aircraft
Well yeah but still that fucker is mighty
Absolutely
Curious if they're going to see if they can make it more powerful
Hey @mint plank is it possible to turn the Cessna into a fifth GEN fighter?👀
💀
Same body frame but more deadly 👀
With carbon fiber
Yeah the trainer plane, the first buy after getting your pilots license
Yeah, but they became family friendly to build their reliable playing that everyone gets in today’s world for a good price
The fuck kind of question is that
Closest you'll get is the L3Harris Technologies’ AT-802U Sky Warden and I guess you can try bit that's stupid in every way
It’s a good what if question 🤣
I can see the plane be given side, winder missiles, and armed to the teeth
Hey, someone had an idea and made it happen
Externally mounted weaponry compromises RCS anyway, no?
Yeah
I meant the 172 variant
The AT-6E Wolverine is another prop plane but meant for CAS
That would be worse than stupid
It'll be shot down by any SPAA
and it's slow enough they don't need to radar guide it
Just give it a fifth GEN engine and it will be all right
No propeller just propulsion
If you mean a powerful engine, the body will rip itself apart
It’s a stupid idea that can happen one day
Change the material to suit the engine therefore it doesn’t break apart in flight
💀
Probably not stiff enough either
So just go full Tony Stark on it
Not good enough also
Lmao
Or just make a whole new plane
I’m really cracking up right now
A tremendous amount of chassis reinforcement would be needed for a jet engine to not rip a Cessna chassis to shreds
No, I want to Iron Man this plane 🤣🤣
And play Tony Stark’s theme in the background
And also reinforced wings to hold weapons, also new body because too much drag
Yes, let’s put tungsten in it
So, as we are all speaking up on it, this can happen for the plane it just needs to be remade in the same design with newer parts and materials
This is the kind of playing I would like to see in a military variant, and how far it would go
The design wouldn't be able to handle it, it was made to go slow and hold people, that's it
So it’s basically the sedan of the air
But here I am wanting to do an engine swap to go faster and deadlier
The term you can’t fix stupid will be so heavy if somebody wants to do what I was saying
If you dropped a hellcat motor into a Willy's jeep it would snap the driveshaft like a fucking twig
They already are
I would rather put a 69 dodge charger with a blower into the Jeep instead
It's undergoing another upgrade
And you would get the same result
God help us lol
Oh god no lol
Which is kind of its defining feature
It doesn’t look efficient when it’s girlfriend is the gas station every 20 miles
For the 69 charger yes, not a hellcat
Here’s a question have you ever thought about why nobody puts a blower on a hellcat
The 69 charger did not come with a blower from the factory
It’s already powerful alone in its design, putting a blower and sucking more air in is like giving it endless nitrous
Because it fucking comes with one stock
It’s ass I want the Uncle Sam version

A perspective I want a bigger blower, then what is given to me in stock
I want more power
No I didn’t but it was blessed with it as time went on
Not from the factory
No, but from those who knew that car needed to have its own blower
The fuck am I reading...
The charger left muscle car territory in the mid-late 70s
No it didn't
Just transportation talk lol
It took us 50 years to get 400 horsepower back into standard-edition sports cars
But yeah, peoples to upgrading up on it which was the best thing about the car of people still wanted it
50 years and a whole bunch of economics laws that got in the way
The 426s were rated at like 425 horse but all the companies back then had a habit of underrating their engines
Here’s the thing if there was no such laws to stop the musclecar era, we would still be having those big beasts down the road in sexier variants and more power
That's not true
And short, they were just talking shit
The Ford GPW/Jeep MB driveshaft can only withstand about 100 horsepower before it shatters (simple talk), the big blocks from the 60s have over 100 horsepower, a 380 horsepower V8 will do the same damage as a 707 horsepower V8...
And pure gas light
Environmental regulation would have happened either way
If only somebody could make an engine so indestructible that he could take a god-awful amount of punishment so we could have horsepower that is unobtainable
I’m angry happened because if it wasn’t here, they would’ve been a chance

If the environmental regulations didn’t come at the time they did, we would’ve had more pony cars, more muscle cars and more variance before it came to light
They do, look up the Viper engine, people build them past 3,000 horsepower
And it's mainly about taking care of them
The engine is what everything else is built to accommodate
If the powertrain can't handle the engine, upgrade the powertrain until it can
No that part but I’m saying that if the engine was built of a stronger material, then we could be pushing forward upon numbers that wasn’t really obtainable with a normal engine. Crate
That's literally what we've been doing since forever
I wanna see a 7,000hp viper one day
I know, but at the end of the day, I hope to see a tungsten engine crate
You're not going to see that on the road
7,000 horsepower is approaching top-fuel dragster territory
To build the engine, you need to upgrade the half shafts, drive shaft, transmission, radiator, air intakes, have the car able to get downforce, thicker tires so they don't blow out, upgrade suspension, frame, and much much more
Laws nuggets
What?
Yayyy
My auto correct is not liking me today
And those engines are single use for 20 seconds
If that
Right
I wish they could be used constantly but you’re right that those engines are only use for 20 seconds
Maybe 30 seconds of idle, 6 seconds of burnout, and then 4 or so seconds of redline and it's toast
Hell even Nascar engines need rebuilding after every race
Ok but nascar engines are impressive in their own right
They are
Hot damn
Didn’t the strat man try to start up in NASCAR in his neighborhood?
8750-9000 RPM (yes, they do rev that high) for several hours
No wonder he tried to wake up the NASCAR in his neighborhood because it’s that loud
Oh I know
I love nascar
And they idle, at, what, 2000?
But that also shows another issue
Tires
Look how often Nascars have to change tires
With almost no braking
And they’re fast pit crew teams
You gotta give credit to the pit crew they train a lot just to move fast
After 30 laps they start wearing
They ask for the soft tires at the beginning, and then go to medium
Some do but many go with the firmest mainly due to pitstops take too long even tho it's quick, racers are going over 200mph while pit lane is only 45
So medium to hard
Sometimes soft
Y'all forget that dirt tracks exist
Toyo tires aren't used in nascar
Except for chunky trucks
I said nascar
Not for at least a few more years
You don't see many nastrucks anymore
I haven't seen a race in a long ass while of the trucks
They have a truck series
Doesn't get the same amount of attention as Cup and Xfinity series, clearly
Yeah I know the truck series exists, used to be famous and popular but not anymore
Isn't there another type of vehicle in nascar? I think I remember hatchbacks
Hate the front
Honestly I hate most new cars because imo the light bar looks odd and the grille is way too big
It's good, little off-putting as the hood is so short and lower than the trunk but good

And performance wise it has 1.5 Turbo which produces 160hp and 240nm torque
Verna is one segment below Civic and Corolla
And looks like it has a grille to let in air for a 8.4l V10
I don't understand the hige grille style taste
Whats next, foot long mirrors?
I swear, a fucking dodge viper gets less air than that thing
Small grille would look a bit out of place tho considering the size of light
Yeah but they'd redesign it around the grille... best example is the BMWs
Like the 2018 M3 looks superior to any other BMW that came out after
Agreed
2 doors are not allowed in this day and age!!
I guess its because they kinda made it a separate car (M4)
Don't know why the M4 couldn't be the 4-door
because then nobody would buy the M5
How does that correlate
M2 = small-sized coupe
M3 = small-sized sedan
M4 = mid-sized coupe
M5 = mid-sized sedan
M6 (nowadays M8 for some fucking reason) = full-sized luxury coupe)
7 series (possibly M7 if there will be one) = full-sized luxury sedan
But like
Why change the M3
When the M4 was a new nameplate anyway
to force people into buying the M4 if they really want a coupe
I don't think you're picking up what I'm putting down
Because BMW Challenge: Try not to ruin their cars impossible
Oh the beloved M3... let's put a pig nose on it!!! Oh, oh, also make it 4 doors!!!
If only the new M3/4 looked a fraction as good as it looks from the rear
There has never been an m7 so I doubt they are going to brake that mold
The 7 series is sporty enough on its own
And the 760 is a v12
good, the new 7 series is ugly as shit anyway
Would have been better off with Chris Bangle as the lead designer at this rate
BMW doesn't know how not to
I will never fogive him for designing the E65
Look at this beauty
Is this at Ultrace???
Proper modified Tourer V
A slammed Cressida is fine because the thing is useless in every other way anyway
Slamming a Tourer and wasting such a capable platform is unforgivable

i love these cars!
The Audi RS2 represented the final step in Audi’s transition to becoming a full-fledged performance marque that could compete with BMW and Mercedes. After lying dormant for decades, the Audi name was resurrected as part of the Volkswagen group in 1965 and produced…rather conventional cars. In 1972, Ferdinand Piëch joined the company and set abou...
@jagged sentinel I got sad news... the F/A-18 Super Hornet will stop in late 2025...
Edit: stop production I mean
we're still using 40 year old jets
Well we're using vehicles from the 1950s also, the F/A-18 isn't as bad as other vehicles and its still a decent jet, there is others that should be replaced other than that
And the Super Hornet is only 24 years old, that's not old at all
yeah but theres no use in continuin production of old jets when theres f22s and 35s being made
Laughs in General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon and McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle
still built on 50 year old base
And? It's not age but capabilities, the F/A-18 is pretty affordable and does its roles well, its not showing signs of being outdated and doesn't seem to be at the end of its life cycle
Age doesn't matter to the military, what matters is practicality
The Department of the Navy requires the Navy and the Marine Corps to conduct F/A-18 inspections every 84 days to tackle issues related to corrosion. They aren't always getting done, and it's showing, according to the Defense Department Inspector General's Office.
The Navy has a history of problems with their F18s
The Navy’s F/A-18 Super Hornet did not meet its mission-capable rates any year between 2011 and 2019 — due to issues such as delays in depot maintenance, shortage of trained maintenance personnel, obsolete parts, and parts shortages and delays, according to investigators.
Corrosion, hell the V-22 has massive issues and it's due to all kinds of issues
- F-22s haven't been built for years
- Yes there is absolutely a reason
Yes and that was regarded as a mistake by the Pentagon
The likes of the F-22 & F-35 are day one aircraft. Use their stealth, SEAD, and air superiority capability to knock out enemy command and control, fighter aircraft and air defence networks.
The reason 4/4.5th gen aircraft are relevant is as day 2+ aircraft
Why waste the flight hours and maintenance man hours and cost sending a f-35 to bomb a target, when a f/a-18 or F-15 Strike Eagle/Eagle II/F-16 can do the job just the same at a far less cost both monetarily and in terms of maintenance man hours
It's the same reason aircraft like the AC-130 and A-10 are still relevant. Very few aircraft have the capacity to loiter around a hot zone for hours and provide on demand highly accurate fire support as units call it in
That long loiter isn't valuable day one, but it's absolutely valuable day two or day three when the enemy has little air countering assets left, and the focus is punching big holes in both the ground, and things on the ground
Hell even that one propeller CAS plane that's brand new, it's not as good as a lot of other planes and could get shot down if it just flies into active combat zones but it's a good plane for when threats are mostly gone
A very very good example is the B-52 in the gulf war
Day one? The B-52 was hundreds of miles out, slinging cruise missiles from well out of air defence range.
But once that anti air threat subsided? Nothing sets a tone like a B-52 saying fuck you and fuck everything in your general area
I'd honestly still take an A-10 over the sky warden.
You don't realise how much you appreciate two engines until you lose one
I agree
And also this very cool feature
Armor
And this is only the tip of the iceberg of what states a-10s have flown home in
The Warden has a bit of armor too but not as much as the A-10
There was one missing an entire wing, the other wing was cut in half, and one engine blown to bits, along with no landing gear (because... no wings)
Still made it home
One unappreciated one is the Galaxy... fucker can fly home with two missing engines... no, not damaged engines providing no thrust... I mean engines ripped off the plane
I didn't believe it until I saw what my friend was talking about on Air Disasters
Cargo aircraft in general don't get enough appreciation
22 February 1991, a military aerial refueling aircraft loses both engines from under the left wing while on a combat mission in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War, causing serious flight control problems and forcing the pilots to make an emergency landing. The incident was attributed to severe turbulence.
It was turbulence and human error of ground crews
Not long ago here in Australia, we had the worst floods ever up north.
An airport was closed, because fully flooded.
RAAF was flying in C-130s with supplies and wanted the airport open but the civilian operator said no, it's too dangerous
And the RAAF response was basically 'C-130s can land on an aircraft carrier. Either make it easy for us and open the runway or we'll just use the (flooded, half destroyed highway mind you) highway instead
They landed the c-130s on the runways. The water was literally up to the landing gear wells it was that high
Bruh
Little idea of how bad it was @steel kindle
Actually no that was 22
I'll find 23 photos
Before you send them, look at this
The KC-130J here was in a midair collision
Still landed safely with fucked engines
Yeah I remember that
Being a cargo pilot would probably give you lots of flight hours. 😉
F-35s fault
Idea of what the highways were like
Do you live in Australia or are you in the RAAF?
And C-130s did touch and go LAPES drops on highways like that with no problem
Just hope it doesn't snag a wheel on one of those edges, if it's high enough it will tear off the landing gear... they're strong but not indestructible
I live in Australia.
Medically unfit to serve militarily but I do plan to (and already have a position ready) work in intelligence, under the department of defence
They didn't land on the highways much. Mostly LAPES drops
Ala, like this
Yeah I know that lmao
Very low altitude drops, see the boat at the start
Basically throwing it out the back in a semi controlled fashion with a drogue parachute

F-35's fault for what?
The low-altitude parachute-extraction system (LAPES) is a tactical military airlift delivery method where a fixed-wing cargo aircraft can deposit supplies in situations in which landing is not an option, in an area that is too small to accurately parachute supplies from a high altitude. This practice is no longer used in the USAF.
This method wa...
The collision
Oh
If I'm not mistaken, this would make a good resume for the C-130 pilots should they apply for airline job
You should hear some of the wacky shit my Sergeant has done, he was in Afghanistan and has some funny ass stories about
Guy is a sweet guy though
aww
From Adam LZ
Now I understand why Ford worked their special magic on the GT350's exhaust
That E46 sounds wonderful
Guys, they fired the bad designers and fixed the IX!!!
sike, the real one still looks like shit
3rd party render?
I dunno, almost dangerous to record while driving
Love that sound mmmmm turns me on
Fuj, I failed the driving test again
It's always the next time, sorry to hear about it
did they say where you failed?
Maybe he doesn't have the other hand
mustang
Man I m driving for 3 years without my license I m not a pro but I did the exam parkour like 6 times with no problem .
The supervisor told me to go forward for other park even though the other supervisor said it’s closed so as I did and I went there and went backwards I forgot to put the gear back on 1st
They Kept talking to me and asked me questions about presidents
They said wife’s of presidents should not be in politics

Banning Mustang for car enthusiasts is like banning Keeanu Reaves in JohnWick Film series

just purchased a motorcycle, or a moped, whatever 115cc falls into
time to cut my rush hour time in half
And that was the last time we ever heard from Kozi Draconequus
dont worry i have some experience riding
though it does require some balls to ride in the city, just gotta be aware
I don't doubt that, it was just an easy joke
Now go upgrade to a 750cc GSXR
my license lets me buy up to 250cc only, besides I probably wont get a bike that costs more than a car, since I mostly drive cars for longer trips anyway
Oh they're dirt cheap here
they're cheap here too since they're literally everywhere and parts are plenty
I went for a mad max build on my bike
I wont do much to mine, maybe some hand guards and a dashcam is enough xd
its a yamaha 115 or something
Always have two cams tho, one for front and one for the rear so you don't get murdered by the insurance company and can prove if you're not at fault
Insurance companies are quick on the trigger to blame you because most people on bikes drive carelessly
ah, there's the twist, in my country the bikes usually get away with shit, even when the cars have cams for proof
quite the system innit
asian things
F
Great, nice custom built
I'd recommend you to have ceramic coating over bike's paint.
eh
I honestly love the looks of those lexus
Grille is quite ig but the entire front accents it perfectly so I end up loving it...
heres another
Having limits seems so foreign to me because you can get a motorcycle license here and then the day after buy a Hayabusa
Personally I don't like it
Why?
Looks so tacky imo
this is it customized
The VW Gol R doesn't need a wing that big and that's the high performance model, it says "track" on the side with the wheels tucked in like its being stepped on...
this is the normal version
I know what the normal one looks like
Ok
It doesn't change the fact it looks tacky imo
the volkswagen gol performance model does not have these wings
this is just a customization of the normal model
I know it doesn't, that's why I said "it doesn't need"
Indeed
I know by the customization it has the base engine
Incredible car
Real
It's Honda, Toyota, BMW, Volkswagen, and Ford Mustang base owners that are kings of upbadging their cars
Trying to make it look like a racecar with the same performance as the 30 yo white chick's that owns the same make and model
I'm not gonna stop them but they're doing it mainly for other people to look at so I give my opinion
there are updates that really improve the look and performance
I know ricers, I have a few friends that are ricers themselves but I don't shit talk them, I tell them that performance should be first but that's about it
The only one that improves a tiny but might be the spoiler but at slow speeds that's more drag than downforce
Indeed
Mfs buy everything except the right engine
It's a doorstop lmao
🇺🇸
Europeans when they learn the Ranger is a mid-size truck
Europeans when they learn that Full-size trucks are not, in fact, the biggest vehicles people daily drive hwre
I say Europeans
I really mean pretty much any country but the US, Canada, Mexico and maybe Australia
Australia likes trucks too apparently
Probably travels faster with better acceleration too
"Well I wanted to make it look fast" well buy the fast one or a fast car for a bear price 💀
"I wanted V8-like performance" then buy a V8 lol
Sure 💀
Probably gonna last you longer anyway
America the country where a grandma car can outperform some semi-sport cars
Mfw the slow option in a 9-year old truck made 300 horsepower
300 horsepower but like 5800 pounds probably
The 2001 Buick got 5.7 0-60 from its NA engine 💀
13 crew cab 6' bed 1500
Don't know the exact number
What a cursed image
It's strangely real
Just shopping for groceries, then you see this baby.
The ACH-47
@jagged sentinel this is it
@gloomy helm this is the two American T-34 tanks
The 1st is the T-34 calliope based on the M4 sherman, and the other is the T-34 heavy tank
F, there is one American tank that has over 20 guns on it that's not photoshop like that
Oh it's a on paper design
None made
I don't really look into on paper designs tbh
There was one prototype made
Oh? It said none were 💀, either way it's a very stupid idea
And glad it never went past prototype stage
The Lee was a great tank, it doesn't deserve to be butchered like that 💀
Bro is posting tanks in the car channel💀
It's called transportation
Where does it say cars specifically
We were talking about jets and military aircraft a couple days ago
I’m gonna post a unicycle in here just for the sake of it
🆗
least armed texas house
upbadging is one of the most pathetic things you can do to your car
people who don't know shit about cars won't be impressed with your fake AMG badges and people who know will bully the shit out of you
Says who
its common knowledge
By people who can't cope that others do stuff that makes them happy
upbadging means you're poor lmfao
makes you look like a clown
Makes other people act like monkeys for something that doesn't effect them
its cringe
Cope
If you like how the top model looks, leave the badges out
m3 bumpers/skirts on a base ass model are still somewhat tolerable
118i owners putting an M badge on their car
but the moment i see you slap an M badge on a basic 318i im clowning on u
all 118i owners are pathetic anyway
Why
The meat riding is crazy
says the upbadging apologist
Oh no putting fake performance badges on your car is stupid as hell
that's not a vibe that's a red flag
That's like wearing fake designer clothes, you get subpar stuff just for the name and you look goofy as shit when someone points it out
People just need to not be insecure losers and rock what they got. Nobody is impressed by a fake M badge because the only people who know the badge know enough to usually tell it's fake as shit
Common epik L
Oh no, I forgot the word "transportation" means only cars 💀
If I see someone do that, I'm running em off the road
understandable
did my first proper ride through the rush hour traffic today to work
saved a lot of time, and wasnt as scary as I thought
Niceeee
Nice bmw
Average honda kid on a residential road

@steel kindle you were saying?
Ok so a friend of mine flew down to see me and when she came over and pulled up at my house, she said "I guess you like american cars" while looking at my Ford Focus and Ford Transit 💀, her brother jokingly kept going on how the cars are the most American things ever to the point that she googled it and found out they're British 💀
Idk why but I couldn't stop laughing
We didn't invent the car
We did make it affordable, though
Relatively speaking
Nope
Also I kinda wish Ford made planes again
They built them under license
Like what Mitsubishi is doing with F-15s and F-16s
Ford Trimotor
Oh, that one
No, I mean a actual plane by Ford
you'd never notice as those planes actually land
Huh?
I mean Mitsu has their own variant of the F-16
Yeah ik
You don't get the joke
What did Japanese pilots start doing late in the war?
Oh that's what you meant
Yes
Euro Fords are terrible
I won't deny it
Two hicks arguing over pickup trucks and planes I see
Eh
F-15 yeah
But the F-2 is derived from the F-16, not a variant
The F-2 and F-16 are pretty different
There is a 'Japanese' variant f-16, but they never went to adopt it, and developed the f-2 later
Oh, speak of the devil, this f-16
That's what I meant
It's kinda like the hornet-super hornet situation
Yes they look visually similar, but they're very different aircraft internally (and in size for hornet-sh)
@jagged sentinel .
Oop
Wrong link
Yeah, I've been walking around work and there's a poster for all the prototype planes that Boeing has made in this facility
And helicopters
