idk the exact location of steam folder but it's either program files or program files (x86) i think they made the client 64 bit
to find it, in steam right click gta enhanced n click manage > browse local files, then go 2 folders up, go to compatdata, then 3240220

on windows it's the same path with steamapps > common > gtav enhanced

I'm sure you can still use mods but you have to browse the actual game files and not the compatdata

but mods on Linux also have issues with dll injections and such

i lwk forgot to check this but, this doesnt matter at all on pc or xbox, i had mine set to everyone because if i need to shoot somebody i need to shoot somebody. the issue is i dont have to reaim in order to lock onto somebody, it just snaps onto whoever the nearest person is instantly, so im basically just watching the game to see if my character dies because i cant aim where i want to.. which when i used the exact same settings on xbox one (assisted aim partial, and preferences set to everyone.) it didnt work. maybe its just another thing rockstar broke and never fixed it since they like to do that sometimes for some reason..

There is an on-going bug affecting PC only where the Casino Heist will kick players after reaching the mantrap tunnel.

You can prevent yourself from being kicked by going to Settings > Graphics then set VSync to Half and enable 60Hz refresh rate. This will enable a 30fps cap which prevents the bug from happening.

Note: All players must use the following graphics settings to cap their fps to 30

You can also use apps like RTSS (RivaTuner Statistics Server) to setup a hotkey to cap GTA5.exe to 30fps.

Alternatively, the bug seems less likely to happen when there are more than 2 players in the heist.

Can anyone help me . My enhanced version of GTA on steam launches fine . But when I launch legacy version of GTA I'm trying to play modded roleplay server with five m . But when I launch GTA v legacy it opens the rockstar game launcher and gets stuck on the R loading screen battle eye fails to launch . I have went through so many fixes . Your level shooting stat affects how much ammo you can hold, if you recently levelled it up it prob raised your max ammo cap

Yes, all my settings are fine and sensitivity is normal. The mouse works perfectly in the game, but only in camera missions (like Trevor’s helicopter mission) it doesn’t move left/right/up/down. It only works for zoom and clicks.

I am experiencing a similar problem. It's because I have lowered every mouse movement to the lowest. So it's very slow when I try to move the mouse on the security camera tasks, e.g., Cayo compound intel gather, casino vault, etc. Even I can't use a mouse to cut the grille on Cayo heist. But it's very normal in other activities.

If ur facing a similar situation like me, you can increase the sensitivity. But u said ur sensitivity is normal not the lowest. Then ur problem might be something else.
Another solution is using a controller. In my case, I'm doing that. So I don't have to increase my mouse sensitivity. I lowered the mouse sensitivity because it is easy to aim.

I also tried connecting an Xbox controller, but that didn't work. I think the problem lies with a third-party program I installed to change the game language to my native language.

It's possible it has an effect, but I don't know.

Limit fps, legacy can crash if you have 120+ fps in game. Try with 60-70fps locked and see if its crashing. Also verify integrity of game files.

Hey guys, I play on PC Enhanced, and im trying to get through the story but the game crashes at the exact same point every time, hooping me from playing any further. The error says "ERROR_GFX_STATE". I have a very high end rig, and i can't understand why it happens in the first place.
