My GTA Online character appears in the migration screen from Legacy to Enhanced, but when I press migrate I receive the message:

My character is visible in the migration menu but migration is blocked. The Legacy version works normally.

@simple furnace There is an on-going bug affecting PC only where the Casino Heist will kick players after reaching the mantrap tunnel.

You can prevent yourself from being kicked by going to Settings > Graphics then set VSync to Half and enable 60Hz refresh rate. This will enable a 30fps cap which prevents the bug from happening.

Note: All players must use the following graphics settings to cap their fps to 30

You can also use apps like RTSS (RivaTuner Statistics Server) to setup a hotkey to cap GTA5.exe to 30fps.

Alternatively, the bug seems less likely to happen when there are more than 2 players in the heist.

hey I've been experiencing weird stuff while doing cayo perico, like halfway a mission (e g. entering or exiting the complex) my tm8 and I get desynchronized or something and the game spawns double guards overlapping and thinks we're both in a solo match. we got individual lives and if one mission fails the other can continue playing and even see each other respawn. does anyone know why is this happening?

The main problem with GTA is lag and desync when two clients reach a checkpoint. The game may fail to synchronize both clients within a short time. Usually, to fix this, the host simply needs to reach a checkpoint first, the second player reaches it after a few seconds, and if there's also a wait for the host to confirm that checkpoint, then the host should wait a few seconds to confirm. This is what I learned while playing Casino and Cayo Heist.

I think this depends on the fact that at certain checkpoints the game has to load another part of the map, so the users will have to load it from their hard disk, and all this involves perhaps different times, depending on the type of hardware, connection and latency compared to the cloud.

you can play heists and missions just fine without being connected at all

Are there any player restrictions for newbies to not be able to migrate to enhanced version?

I think your character needs to be 30 days old before you can migrate. If you only recently created a character on Legacy, you won't be able to migrate until then. However, you wouldn't have much progress either, so why not just start a new character on Enhanced?

Try updating your BIOS to an earlier version, at least if you have a gigabyte motherboard, F19 version is working for me, I was in F22 and BattlEye kept kicking me out.

okay im not the greatest with troubleshooting and stuff but i downloaded GTA on steam like 3 days ago and its been running fine but now every time i try to open it up it says error and then when i go to close it, it will just sit there saying stopping but never actually stop unless i go to task manager and force it to close

i was in casino when i got kicked for idle too long and respawn in my arcade now it gave me a warning about i left job or event which i didnt leave the event i didnt join the event

if your launcher is steam go verfy your game file or run as administrator if it doesn't work go check your GPU driver maybe i am not sure but maybe there is a problem in your gpu driver go reinstall the driver and if doesn't work either delet this file (settings.xml) in gta5 enhanced file and if it doesn't work go rockstar game support customar they will help you.

Hello yday the new gta 5 uodate dropped so i installed script hook v and v dot net nightly fron their github and abdevelopment website. I copy pasted all files from bins folder of script hook v to gta 5 directory and the files from v dot net

if you put mode menu file in your file game it will corrupt your file game what you will do now is remove your file mode menu from file game or verfy your file game in your launcher but sorry i can't help you with that to launch the game with mode menu.

I just did the installation as it works. I have installed script hook v and dot net earlier as well due to updates and it never caused this issue

Have you tried disabling all non-Microsoft services and startup apps, rebooting and then starting the game? If it resolves the problem, add back the services/apps 1 by 1 to determine which causes the problem. I saw in the other channel you said you haven't used any mods.

things ive tried to resolve the below error. (Login works on website just not pc launcher)

1. Reinstalled the launcher and ran by admin
2. Deleted "Social club" folder to force a resync
3. Changed timezone to one other than my own to test (some ppl on some forums have said this would work)
4. Disabled main browsers extensions and turned off vpns as well as tried with vpns and a different internet connection

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

because you're in country ban gta5 but there is a solution for that you can buy gta5 throught website that selling cd keys they will give you a code when you buy it and to To activate it you will put this code in redeem code as you can see there in the picture

This happened to me long time ago, with a vpn you can login without a problem but as long as i remember i changed my computer time and it solved the issue completely without having to use a vpn again.
