if you are in roleplay server and they've strict policy and they find you modding and mods that are restricted not only they will ban you from their server but they can list your steamid to fivem

Hey guys i have a little issue with my GTA Online. My friend keeps telling me that i am lagging all the time i join GTA Online. From my end its fine just on his end i keep lagging. Now both of us have good internet and whenever we play a different game the internet is fine. Just happens on GTA online. Have any of you guys been through something like this??

I have been playing GTA Online for PC on Windows 10 with my Epic Games account for years without any viewing issues, but since a recent summer update, I have been having ongoing and persistent problems fixing my third-person view, because the camera is constantly adjusting both the on-foot and vehicle camera height to an extremely low ground perspective

It does this roughly every 20 or 30 seconds automatically, and makes it particularly challenging to see the road when I'm driving or racing, and forces me to constantly using the right stick to fix the view. It affects both story mode and GTA Online for GTA V on PC.

For the last 6 to 8 weeks, I have tested and experimented with every possible view setting in both story mode and online, and nothing has worked to fix this issue. I have changed the first-person hood view, made FOV adjustments, changed 1st-person head bobbing and motion blur, adjusted camera auto-switching options, independent camera mode and vehicle camera height, and tried adjustiing camera angles during gameplay both with first-person and third-person perspectives using my select button, cinematic camera button and L3 buttons. I have also tried changing my graphics settings. None of these methods have fixed the problem.

I have also verified my game files several times, but that has also failed to fix the problem

I have also experimented with just about every combination of first-person, third-person, FOV and camera auto-switching options in both story mode and online, and none of them have made a difference.

This glitch may also be related to problems I have been experiencing with the weapons wheel, which often gives me the wrong weapon, and the most annoying problem is that about a week after that summer update, my sniper rifles no longer work with my mouse, and now I have to do all my sniping with the controller

A while ago I played GTA on the PlayStation, but now that I have it on the PC I created a new account, I was able to start in the launcher with the PlayStation account, but when I start it, it tells me to change accounts, because in the launcher it tells me to start with Steam and well, the Steam account is not the PS4 account.

I discovered there is actually mouse drift, not controller drift

It's definitely mouse drift, because when I changed the mouse look sensitivity to 0% and increased mouse smoothing scale to 100%, I fixed the problem with my sniper rifle drifting. However, there is still some very minor mouse drifting with the sniper rifles, but very almost nonexistent and barely noticeable now.

Well, I mean, as soon as I move the stick the mouse drift with sniper rifle disappears. However, when not using the controller stick, the target always slowly moves up to the sky until I adjust the mouse down

so this is definitely a mouse drift problem. And even after I changed those mouse and keyboard settings to make the mouse less sensitive, the view still keeps moving down to the ground when driving.

Surprisingly, changing my mouse and switching USB ports, doesn't help

Even more surprising is that when I unplug my mouse, there's still drifting of the view towards the ground and I still have to fix it with the controller right stick

When I try to do the casino heist the same damn mantrap bug keeps happening. I tried it like 4 times with my friend, we walk next to each other slowly and in 3rd person and it still kept kicking us out and saying that there aren't enough players

From what I saw the glitch is here since like 2020 and rockstar still won't fix it

Unplugging the keyboard helped a little, but what helped more was setting the the First Person Aim to Iron Sites instead of normal, and keeping fine aiming control on, and setting the mouse look sensitivity to 2% and changing mouse smoothing scale to 98% helped the best, but the view in car still sometimes moves to ground.

It's not a controller issue. I can tell, because of when I sniping

With the wrong mouse settings, the sniper rifle can't even aim at all. But the sniper aim continues to work fine without any drifting when I only use the controller instead of the mouse

These changes to mouse settings have also improved the view problem in car, but there's still a less pronounced tendency to drift toward the ground when driving. Sniping is vastly improved though.

I just discovered sth else that helped the mouse drifting, but not completely: I changed the default mouse sensitivity for driving to 0%

After doing that, the mouse drifting while driving reduced by about 40%

Switching default mouse vehicle control to off did not help, but switching from camera to vehicle helped a little by reducing the drifting towards the ground

My sniper rifle problem is now reduced by about 85% with almost no drifting with mouse, and my drifting view to ground while on foot has been reduced by about 50%, and when driving the drifting view to ground has been reduced by about 65% when driving, after making all those changes to my mouse settings.

Actually, I should say the sniper rifle mouse drifting problem has been reduced by about 50%, because it's still glitches sometimes if I use the mouse too much. If I only snipe with the controller stick, there's no more glitching

But for precise sniping in deathmatches or missions, that may be a problem

There is an on-going bug affecting PC only where the Casino Heist will kick players after reaching the mantrap tunnel.

You can prevent yourself from being kicked by going to Settings > Graphics then set VSync to Half and enable 60Hz refresh rate. This will enable a 30fps cap which prevents the bug from happening.

Note: All players must use the following graphics settings to cap their fps to 30

You can also use apps like RTSS (RivaTuner Statistics Server) to setup a hotkey to cap GTA5.exe to 30fps.

Alternatively, the bug seems less likely to happen when there are more than 2 players in the heist.

Sounds like he has to disable realtime virus protection in his antivirus program while gaming. Or allow battleye in its settings somehow. Then reinstall or just Verify files method so it patches any missing files then playtest; with realtime antivirus disabled..

Sounds like dependencies are being slow or old version. I have updated my drivers, restarted my computer twice, checked launch options, made sure battleye was updated and enabled, looked to see if it was running in task manager when I launched the game (it was), and now I'm verifying my game files. Whenever I start a job and quit out of it on the vehicle selection screen (classic job warp) it kicks me and says battleye isn't enabled. I don't get kicked for doing anything, just this. Even the alt+f4 job warp works, but the classic one kicks me and locks me from rejoining without restarting

Most likely will happen again after heat or random clock speeds it doesnt have handshake with and loses driver, did u recently get windows update? That may have caused and just need to reinstall vid driver again over top of itself, no uninstall; if it comes back and isnt heat issue

Sometimes as well this artifacting can be caused by video vram and dimm ram clock speeds are much higher than motherboard bus speed. I for example on my ddr3 rockstar rig I have my ram and video both underclocked to 1866, because motherboard bus is 1866. Otherwise it random locks up losing hdmi and needs hard reset when gpu is at 2000 or if ram is xmp profile. Older rig but does not lag

If it happens again just let me know graphics model# and I can see if it has commons.

cant seem to find the SURVIVAL map blip option anymore ? let me give some details first

-im a returning player, last i played was 1 year ago
-i remember doing SURVIVAL missions way back, so i know its unlocked.
-if i bring up the menu through ESCAPE then go to ONLINE-JOBS-PLAY JOBS-ROCKSTAR CREATED- then i can see the SURVIVAL jobs there and i can play them. they are not grayed out.
-but that is not my issue, my issue is i want them shown on my MAP as MAP BLIPS. i can simply SPACE bar on them to run them not have to go through the menus to reach the mission.
why cant i set the MAP BLIP to SHOW on SURVIVAL ? every other missions are there in the option except SURVIVAL.
i did the METH'ED UP mission from ONLINE-JOBS-PLAY JOBS-ROCKSTAR CREATED delivered the RV but after that i still can set SURVIVAL to show. and im not getting any calls from RON or GERALD and Trevors T icon on the map is still missing.

hello everyone. So I just got GTA V Enhanced on steam, I used to play it on epic, and linked my rockstar account and I can start the game. I even got Gta + in excitement to try out some new stuff. I can start the game just fine, but the second it tries to load me into the world, the game crashes. Whether it's online or story mode, both just crash. I just updated my graphics driver, verified game files, even restarted my pc and lowered the graphics settings. I used to be able to play it fine on Epic but now on steam it's not working. I'm assuming it's something wrong with the graphics, maybe even some files that weren't properly installed, because when trying to start story mode, the text of "9 years ago in North Yankton" or whatever it says appeared on my screen, and after that when you're supposed to load into the world / cutscene, the game just crashed.
Sorry for the long text but did anyone have similar issues and if so, how did you fix it?

There is an on-going bug affecting PC only where the Casino Heist will kick players after reaching the mantrap tunnel.

You can prevent yourself from being kicked by going to Settings > Graphics then set VSync to Half and enable 60Hz refresh rate. This will enable a 30fps cap which prevents the bug from happening.

Note: All players must use the following graphics settings to cap their fps to 30

You can also use apps like RTSS (RivaTuner Statistics Server) to setup a hotkey to cap GTA5.exe to 30fps.

Alternatively, the bug seems less likely to happen when there are more than 2 players in the heist.

Hello can someone help me with a performance issue? When I run the game it feels like doing a coin flip with two outcomes: 1. game runs fine at 60fps regardless of map area or 2. game dips to 40 when looking at/driving through certain areas but stays at 50-60 usually. I've tried adding the game directory, rockstar game launcher directory, and battleye directory to list of exceptions in my antivirus thinking it was some sort of conflict but the issue still happens. I also tried disabled any unnecessary startup programs and stopped background services from running but I still get either of the two outcomes and I can't think of anything else that's causing it.

You can request rockstar games to reset your whole game data. Once they do that. You can create new account with it. My friend did same. Idiot ran the game with mods and got banned. A week later he just asked them to reset the game data. And voila shit worked like fine wine.

Does your steam profile name contain symbols or file extension names like .con or any dots/periods . . . ? If so, try to change steam profile name to basic ABC123 format without any symbols. Basic name format, steam api sends your profile name to authenticator wap and it is known to block many symbols including names with periods in them. Lmk

Hi my friend has a very big problem with his gta online

Started when I loaded up the game and changed to a crew session.
I noticed that all of the phone calls I was getting had no dialogue and they were always cut short, only lasting a few seconds.
Then later, during agency VIP missions while working for another playing in a Securosev CEO business, my missions started glitching.
The mission would start, i'd get the phone call, but yet again there was no audio and it was cut short.
Then the mission would start, but there was no marker for where to go, no team lives, no timer.
Nothing indicating that I was in a mission at all.
Yet when a step of the mission was done, the message would appear like normal, something like "insert player has collected the lawyer".
Other then those little messages that a step was done in the mission, nothing else ever appeared.
When the mission was over, I got the money and everything, and it would say for example "lawyer was collected" but that was it.
Otherwise, I had no way to tell I was even in the mission at all.
This goes for every mission, including nightclub vip missions.
It would say to take the vip to rehab but show no gps marker at all, vip panic meter, or time limit.
And Tony's calls just never came through.
My preferences for calls has everyone activated, so it's not that.

Ok, so knowing you have normal name format. And I just noticed you also said it happens on their website. I am thinking your modem or ISP is blocking some of their ips or blocking you from rockstar..
Here is a way to try using google dns 1.1.1.1 , and to dump winsock cache.. to try as a test to see if its your isp or not. Assuming you already tried modem reboot..

Display settings. Enable Hud and radar? Toggle it off then save. Then toggle it on and save. If hud and radar is enabled in display settings and still happens, then exit game, turn off xbox, unplug xbox for 2 minutes. Plug in the xbox and turn it on and load the game. This deletes the cache.

Try to load game, join story first, then goto escape menu, online, solo invite only and see if your online data is good. Then if so, join pub lobby. This will reload your player data properly. Usually.
