Since yesterdays update I get 30 fps after playing for about an hour. When I first enter the game I have 100-130 fps but then after an hour it only goes up to 30 no matter what I do. I installed the new drivers that got released both on express and non-express, and I have verified files before opening the game, but nothing fixes it. I can only get back my fps by closing the game and then opening it again, but then after one hour I have to repeat that process. Support isnt being super helpful and are just dragging down my fps even further

A CIVILIAN stole my getaway vehicle and started running away from me and that getaway vehicle was my custom calico gtf so i couldnt catch it with a random npc car i stole from street. he was also straight up escaping from me at full speed, not driving like a normal civilian going from a to b. the guy was also immune to bullets because when i shot him he didnt give reactions and my crosshair turned gray. he legit stole at least 17 minutes from me cuz i actually spent all the bullets in my pistol and smg and then my car caught on fire,then i had to do the mission and go 6 miles with an asea while having 5 stars. fml

6 minute mission took more than 20 minutes

Hi, I’m having consistent BSODs when launching GTA V (even in story mode) and the crash always points to BEDaisy.sys in the minidumps.
Other games (15+ tested) work fine, so it seems related to BattlEye specifically.
I’ve already:

Updated Windows and all drivers (GPU, chipset, Wi-Fi, etc.)

Reinstalled BattlEye

Disabled firewall/antivirus temporarily

Tried running GTA V as administrator

Tested without network connection and with different connections

Uninstalled Riot Vanguard to avoid conflict with vgc.sys

Tried clean boot with startup programs disabled

Still getting BSODs with error codes like ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY.

Any ideas on what else I can try or how to enable detailed BattlEye logs (BEDaisy.log or BEClient.log) to see what’s causing it?

Sounds like you have a file or folder in the gta5 folder that doeant have admin perm, try running the game as admin.

Like, right click its shortcut, run as admin

I like the Career Progress challenges, HSW vehicles and menu option to move vehicles between garages on Enhanced. Some people like having GTA+. You can always start a new character on Enhanced if you can't migrate your Legacy progress to Enhanced.

Hi guys! So my GTA 5 Enhanced works fine when run in the beginning with no lag. But after I play for a few hours it starts to heavily drop frames and starts to lag so hard. I exit gta and play again but after a few hours the unplayable lag keeps coming back. Anyone know how to fix this?

Apparently this is a common issue since recent patch; with some gamers. Ram fills up after an hour or so and then the lag kicks in and game needs exit/reopen to get another hour or two. Someone claimed they fixed it by allocating more windows page file [fake ram] size from 8gb to 20gb and then restarting pc, closing any microsoft edge update process and then testing.

I dont get the issue at all, and have always had 24gb pagefile though for few yrs

Also make sure you have. VC++ redist 2015-2022 standalone, installed so it updates any broken or outdated dependencies.

MoldiGlocks issue was his controller was listed as an Audio device in bluetooth menu somehow and he needed to remove it and perform pairing again

After updating to latest version of GTA5, I got a popup to please upgrade my video driver. That night, I then upgraded my video driver. I downloaded NVidia 580.97. Then when I launched GTA5 and went online, the graphics just stuttered. It was like watching a poodle run through jello. I made a post on reddit about this and was advised to uninstall the graphic driver, reboot and reinstall clean, which I did. That did not resolve. I then reinstalled the game. Issue unresolved. 3. Select "Account Information".
4. Select "Delete Local Profile". This will clear the cached data associated with your account, but it will not delete your Social Club account or saved games.

Delete the folder named settings.xml (this resets graphics settings).
Delete the Profiles folder (your progress is stored in the cloud, not lost).
Delete the launcher.log and socialclub_launcher.log files if present. All this will clear the cache

After that, restart your computer and run the game in story mode so everything you deleted resets, then go to online

Guys I have GTA Enhanced on Epic Games. Whenever I launch it, it launches the rockstar launcher, obviously. But the rockstar launcher keeps giving me connection errors, I tried every fix, switching networks, using mobile hotspot, opening required ports, changing DNS addresses. I can't even use the website services on my phone or the laptop itself. If I launch the launcher in offline mode, it won't help, because I still cannot access GTA V: "Cannot verify license due to connection" something along the lines of that. And whenever I'm so close to launching it, it won't launch, because the rockstar account linked to epic games is deleted (I deleted it), and I cannot contact support or make a ticket about unlinking accounts, because, again, I cannot use the rockstar web services. How do I fix all of this!?

After testing numerous other things, on my own and with R* Support, I finally found the game starts fine if my laptop is set (in Windows Settings) to use its Intel graphics rather than Nvidia GPU. SP is an abbreviation for single player, MP is multiplayer, if you have access to single player, access it and keep an eye on your performance either using steam's features if you have the game on steam, or using the Nvidia overlay features since you have a Nvidia GPU

If performance in SP is good, it's likely an internet problem killing performance in MP such as high ping

Guys, so recently I bought GTA 5 Enhanced+Legacy and Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack, but when I'm trying to launch Legacy it asks me for CD key, issue is, one doesn't work (invalid) and the other one is already used (on Enhanced I believe) I tried doing a clean installation of Rockstar Games Launcher and other things but nothing worked, by the way I bought it on Steam, can someone help me fix this issue? Hello, so I have a problem for 2 months already. Basically when I press play gta, it's loading it's all good, but after that it doesn't show me if I wanna play online or story mode, it starts loading and says "Initializing", and it's loading like that for forever. Hey guys, my game crashes everytime i get into one of the old heists cutscenes, is this normal? Because i can play the game without any issues until i try to do something like Humane Labs, i join to a game, the department cutscene goes on for a couple of seconds and then i get a "err_gfx_d3d_init"

1st i would try to verify/fix directx by getting dxwebsetup and run it. Then reboot pc and try game again, also make sure on mobile laptop that its plugged into wall power and you may need to set gpu to gta5 as high priority as well use low to medium settings and no extra msaa etc.

If you change ingame settings, make sure to exit game and reopen it for settings to for sure save and reload correctly

Also be sure to check Task Manager processes tab section for Microsoft edge update, if you see any Microsoft Edge or Microsoft edge update running then right click end task on them b4 gaming

I've just had to mess about with this problem for about an hour, I've redownloaded the launcher, I've deleted everything but nothing seems to work. Apparently the only thing I could manage to do was set up A VPN and then it would allow the launcher to come online but when you search up the problem, there's a few solutions but from what I can see, none of them must exactly work except the VPN situation
