if you have to delete your profile every time before that message goes away then GTAO is probably being prevented from saving every time during certain save operations

Obvious things to do:

• Turn off any overlays (discord in particular)
• make sure all GTA executables quit in task manager when you close the game
• look in system logs for anything unusual around the time you quit the game
• make sure your av isn't doing anything squirrely (i.e. look at the av logs)
• try clearing the rockstar launcher cache instead of user profile

It is the cookie cache in the launcher files

I have to delete it everytime to get the message to go away. Once I close the game and try to relaunch the error comes back

Its something to do with the browser_cahce_settings.dat file.

Also something thats actually pretty wild. The same thing happens when I try to access the social club website. I can view it once. If I refresh the page I cannot view it. I have to clear my cookie cache in my broswer and I can view the web page again

unless you do it manually by copying and pasting files, but that won't give you achievements

Delete browser_cache_settings.dat in this directory Documents\Rockstar Games\Social Club\Cache. Relaunch it and it should ask you to sign in and the game will launch

A lot of people are having this problem and you will have to do it literally everytime to launch the game

Rockstar wont fix it because they are fucking worthless greedy company so you will just have to deal with it

I get low fps because of low utilization when playing GTA Online.
My CPU, GPU and RAM - non of them is used fully (they get an average 70% utilization).
Power plan is set to max performance.
Any idea how to fix it?
It only happens in gta online.
In story mode the gpu (GTX 1070) is fully utilized and in other games I get full utilization as well, even in online.
But in gta it's different.
Has anyone encountered this?

performance scales pretty linearly with the amount of players

Guyes, after deleting gta v and factory reseting my pc i redownloded gta v enhanced on steam and my online progress is there but no story mode progress, btw before i had this rockstar game launcher window when launching the game that would tell me there is conflict between cloud and local saves i chose local cause i used to mod the game, i came back today to play gta after a long break i enter story mode i find myself in the prologue

I am facing a issue of that whenever i open the gta there nothing shows up on the screen but when i open the task manager there I see the game is running on background and the play time is always counting on steam.
what can I do anyone?

Make sure you have .net framework 4.5.2 standalone, installed from microsoft downloads site, also fetch and install Microsoft visual studio 2015-2022 installer, install these to update the dependencies then restart pc and try again.

If these 2 updates dont fix it, i would try graphics driver stuff next

Firstly, i would go into rockstar folders and make sure all exe files are not running in compability mode by right clicking them and going to properties compatibility and unchecking any of those listed boxes. Then apply/ok. Gta5_ and BE battleeye, and any Play exe including launcher.

Graphics driver corrupt or wrong version, or not hooked correctly in windows, directX glitched, windows page aka fake ram file too small or too big, video settings in game are set high asking for too much heap from ram and vram. And happen when you registered as a president. Dying or swapping sessions ect during fails it

So I have GTA 5 on Epic Games currently. But I hate using Epic Games because every other game that I own is on Steam and it is just much better to use in my opinion. So I have a question here. If I buy GTA 5 on Steam now, can I continue playing my GTA 5 as usual, both story mode and online, or will I be not able to connect it with my Steam? Has anyone ever done this before?

Launching with steam i think is exactly the same as epic games because if you just delete all that epic games bs and log out of rockstar launcher and delete all saved information in appdata local and roaming and shi or what it’s called if you just delete it all go to documents delete the rockstar games file thingy and shit but make sure to save your gta settings/graphics settings you can launch via steam because then you only need to sign in again and maybe im explaining this like an dumbass but you can skip all these steps and just buy it remove the old gta enhanced from epic and just launch the new prob it sees your already logged in and then you can just play bcs it will auto link your steam/ give you the prompt to link it so then it’s all fine ig

btw myb for all the yapping but yes if you buy it on steam you can launch it because steam uses rockstar games to launch it so just connect your gta online rockstar games to your steam that will probably automatically happen when you download it and launch it on steam then just login into the rockstar games launcher if that is not already done then it should just launch its 07:00 i haven’t slept so if i made any mistakes or sum shit myb

Are you sure playing legacy version ? Im sure legacy have lower requirements than enhanced.

Only i know enhanced wont work if your GPU only support DX11, you need adding some files into the folder to make DX12 enable (just YT it)

There is an on-going bug affecting PC only where the Casino Heist will kick players after reaching the mantrap tunnel.

You can prevent yourself from being kicked by going to Settings > Graphics then set VSync to Half and enable 60Hz refresh rate. This will enable a 30fps cap which prevents the bug from happening.

Note: All players must use the following graphics settings to cap their fps to 30

You can also use apps like RTSS (RivaTuner Statistics Server) to setup a hotkey to cap GTA5.exe to 30fps.

Alternatively, the bug seems less likely to happen when there are more than 2 players in the heist.

As I know, the monitor vertical frequency (Hz) (60,120,144,240...) is not the same as the in game frames per seconds (FPS). So it is not correct to confuse both values. About that Casino mantrap issue, the users that have a monitor with more than 60Hz, can force the value 60 and Vsynch ON in the graphic settings. The FPS can be more, depend of the graphic card performances, and those FPS shouldn't be what trigger the bug. Correct me if I am wrong.

Same. On startup (PC, Epic Games), Enhanced endlessly shows different game scenes with "initializing" in the bottom right corner, never reaching the main menu. The game was fine yesterday. Legacy still works. I checked my Internet speed, restarted my modem and router, checked R* server status, verified files, updated to the Nvidia graphics driver released today, deleted the settings file, deleted the Profiles folder, deleted the Social Club folder, checked that my laptop is set to use the Nvidia graphics chip when running the game, flushed my DNS, tried using the command-line parameter for minimal graphics settings (although it would normally work, I got an error saying to reboot and try again) and reinstalled the R* Games Launcher, Epic Games launcher and game. Anything else I can try, lol?
