Any time I play now I get suspended for further time frames without an actual cause. I have opened numerous r* tickets, told them to check my conduct, and to see that I haven’t done anything wrong but yet I get the same “All gta online suspensions are permanent, we don’t discuss security.” And the ticket is closed

I'll answer it because nobody else will it just Rockstar having trouble downloading your data. Close the game and reopen it. When you open it spam your left and right bumpers until you get to the screen that says press x to continue press x and it's gonna recalibrate your game and your online services. Hope that helps

ok when you're back open appwiz.cpl then uninstall the Rockstar Games SDK and open the launcher then go to Settings then account info and delete the local profile then close the launcher then go to Documents and delete the Rockstar Games folder but if it shows in use then kill the launcher in task manager and if that doesn't work then run Launcher.exe in Safe Mode with -ScOfflineOnly launch argument and go to Settings then scan for game installs then boot back into normal mode and launch the game and if that doesn't work then try a different internet like vpn or mobile Hotspot and if that doesn't work then contact support

I used to use Alt + Tab to easily switch screens, because I'm using two monitors on Windows 10, but since I made some minor changes to One Drive, it doesn't work any more

I tried about a dozen methods to fix it, but none of them work

For example, I verified my game files on Epic Games, then restarted, and that didn't help

Then I unchecked Disable pause game on focus loss, but that didn't help either

then I tried disabling Windows Game Mode, and that didn't work

So i have a kind of a weird question regarding the game.... So basically i live in a country where sadly unlimited internet isn't an option so i recently got a new PC and copied the GTA folder over to the new one without issues just by letting the launcher install for a couple sec and then copy and paste the game files into the installation destination.

My question a friend just bought the game through Steam i have the standalone version... Is it possible that he could take those same files and copy them into the installation path of where steam would install it and it would recognize those files or would he need to actually download it himself to make it work through steam

I would guess it should be possible since the game files should be identical except for some extra steam file which it would most likely to my knowledge just download itself.

I hope anyone has any information on that

Because you should have 2 separate gta directories for stuff like that if you wanna use mods in story mode while still being able to load online.

that’s what happen to me delete the rockstar game file from your documents and then open up rockstar application again and just sign in then click story mode and press escape and click join online session and ykh should be cool

I try to launch the launcher and then it says "the rockstar games laucher failed to initalize!"
I had an issue earlier with Gta V and Red dead redemption 2 not launching so i did a clean reinstallment. But now the launcher dont work and when i try to launch through steam it says i run windows 7 or 8. I am on windows 10 and everything worked perfectly until 2025.

I found a fix to whoever can't join GTA Online because of data cloud save failing. (Playstation)

1. Go to Settings, and go find your System/Console Storage, and download the GTA 5 files.
2. Go to Online Storage, delete them.
3. Then, launch GTA 5. The loading screen as soon as you launch SHOULD be the Bikini girl on the beach, as soon as that disappears, Hold L1 (or L1 + R1, not too sure [It should open the calibration screen], try holding L1 first, if that doesn't work, close the app, re-open, and hold L1+R1)
4. Exit the calibration scene, go to Story Mode, let it load.
5. Go to the character select (Franklin, Michael, Trevor, Online Character), and launch Online by choosing your character.

It should then work and let you load into Online.

It won't let me upload a picture but I got a quick question I was suspended about a month ago for text and talk in GTA. I took the 10-day suspension because I perhaps could have said something I should have not said. But after the suspension was lifted I went to my settings disabled my mic and put everything on mute so no one could hear me in gameplay. Couple days ago I get suspended again for the same nonsense even though I call BS every time I log in Rockstar notifies me that they have muted my mic and my text in gameplay. So how am I getting reported again I think it's a griever. But every time I send a report to Rockstar I get something back in German I live in the US. How can I dispute this. When I did nothing wrong
