1. Enter closed friend session
2. Try again
3. If it fails, open resource monitor and suspend the game's process for 10 seconds
4. It should load
5. If it doesn't load then verify files

Hello, is there a way to stop the Rockstar Games Launcher from using the command -useSteam when you start GTAV with Steam? Main problem: Old social club account got deleted, so when I start GTAV with Steam (with a new Social Club Account with a working license of GTAV) I am forced to use a Code that's already been used. The main thing is that the command that is checking for the Steam Account is forcing me to either somehow use a code that's not useable or close the game.

You need to use a different steam account, when the social club account gets deleted you can't add the steam license to another social club account, you need to buy the game again

Guys, sooo i play gta on not a regular basis or so.
So I tried to download it again and i did. But when I went to rockstar it said that this epic games account is linked to another rockstar games account.
So I tried and tested 3 account 1 mine, 2 my brothers and resetted password for all 3 and tired again.

I got a new gaming laptop last week and decided to download GTA on it, so I can play when Im away from home as well. Now the issue comes with logging in as I used my old email for the 2FA. I DO have access to that email, but not to the phone where the authenticator app was downloaded. Turns out I cannot log in to the same app on a different phone because that email was family linked and I would need to log out from the previous phone which I don't have access to.

Now comes the interesting part, as you cannot simply log in using a different device where you are already signed in or a code to your email. Rockstar does have a support site where you can submit a help ticket BUT to do so, you need to sign in with your account, drumroll please: using 2FA. Perfect. Yes, I understand that they need to have certain security features but then how am I able to sign in.

If you can still access the email used to register with on Rockstar see if you can send them a mail with the text you've written here. I know that sometimes they do allow a recovery code per email for a temporary bypass of 2FA. If that doesn't work and they won't do that for whatever reason you have to find a way to still be able to submit a support ticket.

What Rockstar Support will most likely do is Unlink the game from your steam account and remove your progress and Unlink it from Social Club

then you would buy the game again and relink to save it
