and modders can disable loading scripts so you're even more likely to get infinite loads and other bad things

maybe reflection msaa and post fx but not much

if you're cpu bound and playing with uncapped frame rate, lowering those settings won't bring down the temp. You'd just get higher frame rates with same temp.

In my case the higher the fps cap I set the higher the avg temp. I'm currently fine with 90fps but the temp I usually get is 80 to 90 so I want it down a bit.

I'm experiencing an issue with GTA V on Rockstar Launcher. The game is causing my entire PC to lag, and I'm seeing FPS drops, especially in the menus. This happens despite having a recent and powerful setup.

I assume you already knew this considering the extensive list of things that you did but as a start just cap the fps with rtss to 150

Also your CPU is really a bit of a bottleneck here

hey guys I have a really weird problem with HUGE frame drops
this happens randomly to me BUT
the only way I can recreate the problem is change my settings from window borderless to fullscreen and tabbing out then back in

normally I run a smooth 60 frames but after it happens randomly or I change my settings it will go to 2 fps for some random amount of time

when this happens my gpu goes from 25-50% to 100% usage

Fps isn't the main thing you should be concerned about honestly. Be aware of the temps, especially cpu temp. A laptop doesn't have a good cooling system as a desktop so the temps are gonna be higher on average.

Usually the higher fps the more your cpu has to work, hence increasing wattage and the temp

i try to launch gta of steam, i do it and it goes to rockstar games launcher and goes your steam and rockstar games account is not linked. Now i know my email that i used but its saying a completely different email so i think i may of been hacked, anyway i try to reset the password using my email from the steam account and rockstar games account but i still havent recieved a email its been hours now aswell and also tryed a few months ago

Make sure to verify the game files on Steam first (or do a fresh install)
Uninstall rockstar launcher and social club
Download a fresh version of rockstar launcher from their official site
Once installed, browse the file location of the Rockstar Launcher and look for the files Launcher and LauncherPatcher(?) executables
For both files, right click then click properties, then under Compatibility tab:
uncheck Run in Compatibility mode (mine was running on windows 7 mode),

then check Run as Administrator, then click apply

Try changing the install location from C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games to C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games

They don't unlink it but there's an exploit (that existed for 2 years) where you can use the RID to change the name of the linked account to another one so it becomes the email with that

I have recently got my pc reseted and i have gone to login to play GTA V, I have come across a message saying 'we couldn't sign you in automatically please login manually using (email). Now the email it says to login manually is not my email i singed up with and played with for 2 years. I have no way of signing in and this is very frustrating due to all the money i have spent on this game.
