try switching soft shadows to softest instead of using CHS since I heard it has that bug from time to time and disable long shadows but if you get the bug again then re-enable them and high resolution shadows I believe are bugged with a specific AMD driver version because it thinks it runs out of vram but I think that's irrelevant

Other than that there's nothing really with your settings

If it still continues with that then I recommend trying to delete settings.xml and pc_settings.bin and going with the default settings and seeing if they do the same thing and if they do then it's definitely not the settings

and when i do open it in private sessions there's trouble to invite other players in.

You have to be a ceo or president to be able to play those, and in a public session it's very buggy sometimes. Make sure that the ceo or president management menu in your interaction menu is light and not saying unavailable, then you can join the heist normally. For private sessions, you can't invite random people, it's kinda broken.

It's most likely asking for the key cos it can't contact Rockstar SC to verify your key attached to your account

If your intent on finding the key here's how you do it but its not gonna resolve it:

To find a CD key for a game on Steam, you can do the following:
Select the game from your Steam Library
Right-click the game
Select Manage
Select CD keys
