reinstalled , verified game files , deleted and 2.exe from distributable files and reverified game files , ( the rockstar games launcher is not opening alone and not with games like gta v and rdr2 ) it was asking that user account control permission in a loop , i pressed yes around 50 times didnt worked so i lowered the UAC control to all low , and it didnt asked permission but after opening launcher it took 5 min loading and showed loading launcher and 20 sec later same error

iam ded now , only left is to reinstall games , but i dont think it the issue with game as both rdr and gta not launching cause of that launcher

Make a new account with the same email you used with your previous account and create a ticket at r* support describing your problem... they'll ask you for the invoice, your linked id and every other detail but will help you get your acc back

yes, i completed the heist, brought the car back to the salvage yard; screen stuck for a long time after i let it load, it took me in a gta online lobby where i couldn't do anything, i reloaded gta; the car is nowhere to be found, going to the planning computer brings up the list of 3 cars (of which i selected 1 of them and did the heist) and the car is marked as pending, i did the other 2 heists as well and that one is still stuck

I have a weird problems with the shadows. I have blocky shadows, like stairs..stairy instead of round, even with all shadows settings set to the higher. It's only a problem when i'm a certain distance and as i get closer i can see the line between soft and completely sharp...EVEN if the "soft shadows" setting is set to sharp. As a result, i get the most pixelation from shadows (I think) and It's REALLY annoying even for the pixelation on things that aren't shadows. Do I really need to change for a higher resolution monitor ?? I'm in 1080p.

• Update your GPU driver. If it has clean install, maybe check using that.

• Go to Documents -> Rockstar Games -> GTA V and rename settings.xml to settingsold.xml etc.

Then start game and check again.

i'm not sure. usually when you launch the game for the first time, it will ask you if you want to save your progress in the cloud. After that, I don't think you can turn off or turn on the rockstar cloud.

and if your progress is out of sync with the curring one saved on the cloud, it will ask you if you want to sync it.

@wet raptor you tried deleting your gtav profiles folder from your documents? this usually forces a redownload of ur save

yes with the launcher too , r* first response was to delete social club and launcher from documents folder

or run the uninstaller from either of those

well i have one more issue with ceo waarehouse so i sold the special cargo i had collected over time 2 eggs and one gold minigun

once i sold it my ceo cargo guy who passively sources the crates came back with another golden minigun but now on the computer it's not showing up but i have it in my cargo warehouse

GTA 5 doesn't actually close when quitting, I'm using Steam. It keeps running in the background until I force stop it using Steam. Is there any way to fix this or do I have to force quit everytime?

Do you wait a few seconds after closing, because mine shows stop option after closing the game for few seconds then it shows play again

came back like 40 mins later and saw it was still showing up as running

The application wasn't in the taskbar but steam still showed it as running

Open matchmaking then invite him using the game menus instead of social club and make sure it's a public session

If you want to do it in a private session then make sure you have him friended

So I tried everything to play on a Duel Sense 4 controller wired on GTA V and for some reason its not working, I also tried steams big picture mode to see if it works or not. I have the game on the Rockstar Games Launcher btw
