my game is closing suddenly on the main menu. It opens fine, runs the initial black screen/white text, but if I keep the game on focus, it crashes before loading the "settings online story" buttons screen. RAM - 32GB 3200MHz

While being in the singleplayer Im getting smooth 100+ fps which should be normal for my PC. While in multiplayer im getting roughly 50fps and dropping.
Is this normal and is there any fix for that because I see lots of people playing on smooth frametimes in Online as well. My game settings are medium-high.

It is a general problem with Cayo. I have personally encountered this and so have a lot of people. Just do the setups in an invite only session and you will be fine.

I Will try that, but it doesn't only happen in cayo, it can happen in freeroam, after a job, during a job but usually other jobs are shorter so i can finish them quickly before it could happen, but for cayo you know how long scoping can take specially for the first time. guys, i installed GTA 5 : premium edition from Epic games store yesterday... I am facing an issue when i start the storymode, the game is crashing without any error message display. I looked up for solutions on the web, i verified file integrity, lowered res, lowered graphics, disables antivirus, gave the game admin rights, disabled nvidia overlay, updated drivers and system... still the issue persists. The crash happens at random moments, sometimes when i start the story mode and sometimes after progressing a bit through the prologue (still inside the bank).

Its stock Gta 5 with no mods installed yet. Its even crashing in offline mode.

My rig :
A laptop with Ryzen 5 4600H processor, 2×8 = 16GB DDR4 ram, Nvidia GTX 1650 DDR6 gpu, and a 512GB ssd.

If you kind ones could help me out, i would be very thankful as i wished to play this game since i was a child and now i cant play it.

But the community speculates that the core issue does infact come from Microsoft because what internally happens is the game thinks its no longer connected to Xbox and that your license of the game is no longer avaliable so it disables saving and all inputs

usually that is normal for laptops unless you are thermal throttling
to be safe in game settings lock framerate and lower your settings and see if it crash... if it solve the issue then we need to dig into why.

also there's more than one .exe in the game folder

there's a whole chain that happens when you launch the game and any one of them could cause something weird

Hi does anyone know why my whole ammo is gone sometimes when I load into gta online? This time all my throwables are gone as well.

I haven't been able to play Gta or rdr2 for over a month now. When I launch Gta, which I bought on epic games, it launches epic games, then it asks me if I accept that rockstar games can make changes, so there's nothing wrong with that, it's always done that, but then the rockstar loading screen loads endlessly this screen (photo supported) and the rockstar launcher is buggy because I can't click on any button, after a while it tells me to reinstall the game, which I've done at least 3-4 times and the problem always comes back. I've had this problem since I added a hard disk to my laptop and reset it. I had changed gta disk, I do not know if it is related. Thanks in advance for your help.

You can't change graphics

Only thing you can do is lower the brightness to make the game look a tiny bit better but most people don't prefer that look anyway

I have problems when trying to log in to R*. It says that the Email isn't found or that the password is invalid but I can login to the website with the same credentials

Uninstall the launcher then try to launch the game normally with the launcher uninstalled

It should install its own version of the launcher with the linking process

i had the same problem when launching the game for the first time. Go in your steam librairy -> right click on GTA V -> Manage -> CD keys -> copy/paste in rockstar launcher when it was asking you to enter an activation code. Tada !

aight I got a problem: my game has been crashing without and error code and kicks me back to my desktop after only 30 seconds of play.
I have tried:
-disabling antivirus
-verifying files
-running as admin
-updating graphics drivers
-uninstalling and reinstalling game
