I am having problems with my game for 2nd day related with fps, its droping below 15fps and then once few minutes to 60(its capped on 60) for second or two and then back to 15, i played this game for 100hours before without this problem on 60fps (capped) and now idk what to do because the game is basically unplayable

Hey guys, I need some help/advice.
So, this morning I was playing GTA Online until some modder decided to crash My game to the desktop after having reported Him for killing Me repeatedly (And for cheating/modding), anyway, He crashed My game and now I can't load it back up, at all, I've just finished reinstalling the game within the past 30 or so minutes and it still won't load.

Steam boots the game and all I get is a black screen with nothing on it besides My mouse cursor which I can move around / onto My other monitors. The game then exits back to the desktop after 10-30 seconds and Steam still thinks the game is running when it's not.

I've tried verifying the files, that did fk all, I've tried reinstalling GTA V, that also did fk all, I've tried deleting a steam_api64.dll file which apparently causes a black screen, that did fk all and now the game won't re-generate it in the local fire directory Program-files > Steam > steamapps > common > Grand Theft Auto V

Does anyone have any advice? If so please and thanks.
||Off topic but I really wish Rockstar would take action against these constant modders but nope, I guess not..., instead they just keep adding content (E.g.... Chop Shop) and are being inconsiderate IMHO 😶 It just makes GTA Online unplayable/unenjoyable.||

Hey! i firstly got Gta on the ps5 version, got a alright account and deleted the game but then because most my friends were on ps4 and started to play it i brought the ps4 and 5 version, when i started to play more ps4 version it made me restart the game but that doesnt matter now because i have a better account on ps4 version, but i tried to go back on ps5 version after reinstalling, but it still has my old everything there, im asking if there’s a way to connect my ps4 character to my ps5 version because it don’t want all my work from the ps4 version to go to waste now majority of my friends have ps5

in case of oiv, i think you need to install them using openiv. pdb i don't think are important, they're there for debugging purposes, and ini files usually go where dlls do

if the disc contains the actual game then it would install as fast as the ps5 can read and write data from the disc, whereas the update would be bottlenecked by the speed of your internet

Why can't I play GTA for more than about 10 minutes before it crashes? The launcher.log file tells me it crashes with the error "STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION"
Rockstar support has told me to reinstall the game, but it works just fine on my laptop with the exact same files

grass quality and MSAA, as well as most settings under advanced (with the exception of frame scaling, obviously)

grass quality affects fps a lot. i have it set to high (second-lowest, normal disables grass almost completely), and i still get significant frame drops in the forest around the bunker and stuff

oh and also setting shadow softness to NVIDIA PCSS or AMD CHS affects performance a lot too, regardless of GPU manufacturer

also iirc on older and lower end GPUs, tesselation also affects performance

I got a friend that speaks russian to talk to them and most people I meet on GTA online are from Russia (mostly Moscow, Kazan, St. Petersburg, Omsk and Novosibirsk). And I don't think ping is the problem here because I have good internet and also the balkans are very close to me so why aren't there more people from there? also Central Europe is pretty close too. And you can't sit here and tell me why Novosibirisk, Omsk and Kazan are closer to me than the european countries because that just isn't true. Also I am looking for a solution not a cause.

okay this is a serious question

does anyone know why my criminal mastermind awards ( doomsday and legacy ) are not updating for socialclub website? , they are updated in my game and i see my awards in the game they say completed but not on socialclub page . does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening ? i have opened up a support ticket with rockstar and awaiting response but was hoping to get some quick answers from here , if anyone knows a solution to this please do not hesitate to dm me answers or ping me . thank you : )

Anyone please help me, so my gta 5 keeps getting an error that says "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)." the problem starts when i change something using cheat engine, i remember that i search for some value and change it to 9999999 and when i get back to the game its completely broken, the game files are still fine 71gb total, since the files is still there is there anyway to reset the changes that i've done and like reset it to fresh start? oh yeah and my gta is cracked.... ;-;

i would recommend verifying integrity files of the game , if that wont work then use revo uninstaller to completly uninstall the game , then obviously reinstall it again and that should help. and pro tip dont use cheat engine if you dont know what exactly youre doing
