  Why does the issue happen?: The issue happens due to unknown reasons, it indicates that you've been blocked from accessing Social Club related sites linked with your IP address, etc. This guide will try to help you with resolving the issue with various different solutions.

Note: Blue text found throughout the guide indicates a clickable website link or screenshot.

You might receive one of these errors due to the issue (Includes screenshots):

• The rockstar games services are unavailable right now

• Files required to play GTA Online could not be downloaded from the Rockstar Games Service

• Your save data could not be loaded from the Rockstar Games Service

• Unable to load Social Club websites

• Offline Mode: could not establish connection in Rockstar Games Launcher

• Activation data could not be loaded while in Offline Mode

• Social Club failed to start because of an incomplete installation

• GTAV is offline when opening the Social Club menu

• Social Club failed to initialize

• Possible solutions:
  1 - Try restarting your router: This may help in obtaining a new IP address as mentioned before in the introduction, However this process is different depending on ISP or router configuration. Which is why it's recommended to shut down your router for 1 hour or 30 minutes then boot up to get a consistent result.

2 - Try to use a different internet connection: Using a different internet connection such as a Hotspot, might help with obtaining a different IP address since it's running on a different configuration.

3 - Try to use a custom DNS: This can help with changing what your IP address connects to receive data from servers which may help with the issue. Here's a guide on how to do this for each platform: Xbox and PlayStation, and PC. It's recommended to use the Cloudflare DNS which uses Primary DNS: 1.1.1.1 and Secondary DNS: 1.0.0.1, But you could also try others such as the Google DNS.

4 - Follow the cache clear guide: The [Cache Clear Guide](#gta-tech-support message) could help with the issue as it can be cached in while there's no actual connection issue.

5 - Use a VPN: a VPN can help with changing your IP address reliably, However there might be some issues while using a VPN for more information use !vpn. There isn't a direct way to use it on console so a custom DNS is more recommended, but it might be required to contact Rockstar Support with it on other devices if you're unable to access their site.
A reliable VPN can be found at

6 - Contact Rockstar Support: They might be able to unblock your connection. You can contact them here, But if you're unable to access their site you might need to use a VPN from the previous solution.

7 - Wait for a while (Week or more): Most routers use a dynamic IP address which changes overtime, So if the none solutions worked for you, It's one of the last things to try.

8 - Check the service status: The Rockstar Game Services might be down which can cause the issue. You can check the service status at #🟢services-up or at the Rockstar Service Status Page.

- **Specific platforms**

9 - (PC Only) - Follow the clean uninstallation guide: This can help with clearing cached data from the Rockstar Games Launcher which could be causing the issue and the guide can be found [here](#gta-tech-support message).

10 - (PC Only) - Check Windows Firewall: It could be blocking access to social club connections which can cause the issue. Gentlemen, I found a new bug that came with the new patch (if I'm not mistaken). It is connected with increasing the flight speed on Ultralight (I know that this existed before, but then it was fixed). In general, you first need to prepare everything for this: buy the Ultralight itself, install a carbon propeller on it and upgrade the engine to level 4.
Now the conditions:

1. This only works in the first session after starting the game (you turned on the game, entered the session, then turned off the game and entered the session again, and not the very first session as you might think), otherwise the bug disappears.
   Now let's get down to the buggy itself:
2. As soon as you spawn in the session, you need to register as the president of the motorcycle club.
3. Immediately after this, call the plane through the transport menu.
4. We go to it and sit in it.
5. As soon as the plane starts moving, it maintains an almost exactly vertical position.
6. We fly until it reaches the limit and turns us around
7. As soon as the barrier turned us around, we level the plane and tilt it ±15° with the front down.
   Done, if you are flying very fast and this is confirmed by the minimap or a trail of colored smoke, then you have succeeded.
   About efficiency: it took me 1:07.55 to fly from the north of the map to the LS airport, while on Hydra it took 1:31.93
   I did all this on minimal graphics settings.

@narrow latch , I've tried running steam in compatibility mode, taking it off compatibility mode, verifying my integrity files and then next thing I'm going to do is update my GPU drivers. I'm just not sure what to do and I really enjoy playing the game when it works.

Yes, it is only GTA that doesn't work properly, I have RDR2 on my PC and I already tested that because it's a Rockstar game so I tried that and that launched perfectly fine but then just to make sure I also launched like BeamNG and that worked also perfectly fine.

Heya just reinstalled gta 5 and cant start it... just infinate loading in the launcher.. tried reinstalling graphichs, flushing dns and inactivating firewalls
