hello, i have a really odd issue. gta v runs fine on my pc, my processor and gpu are okay (i think) but when i enter a nightclub, ANY nightclub, the game restarts my pc. NO IDEA why this is happening, does anyone have any suggestions?

and sure, the game sometimes crashes online as we all know gta v does from time to time BUT that's a crash to desktop. this literally restarts my pc. checking bios after a restart shows gpu temp of around 45 degrees, so that's not overheating, either.

we can play the game for hours, then as soon as we go into a nightclub it's instant shutdown.

it's also not a soundtrack paging issue as the soundtrack plays for that 1/2 second or so, and all the files validate okay.

that's just internet issues, maybe a strict NAT type too

Yes it could be NAT issues. When you go into such an instanced location someone in the party will be hosting it, I believe, as opposed to in the main server which is hosted elsewhere. If there are NAT conflicts between party members they will become apparent then, perhaps only when a certain data exchange takes place. Have you tried going in all together instead of them joining afterwards? It might make zero difference but might help. I find a lot of businesses can be twitchy in this way and, if possible, I try to just go in myself or advise my friends to go into their business then we will pick a mission and meet up with everyone outside. You don't need to be inside to start a mission with crew members. There's not really any reason aside from ambiance that would see them need to be in your office, anyway. I know "it should just work" but the netcode for GTA is fairly complex and quite badly put together and relies on a lot of external factors when you get into instanced situations.

Sometimes it's also just crap netcode, full stop. Main thing is, if something bugs out and you don't have to be doing it, try not doing it. This can happen in mission lobbies, too, and it's very annoying in them if you're trying to do something specific. Or a mission will launch and just randomly drop one or some players. It's very floaty considering it's an online focused part of the game. Red dead is the same (almost identical netcode)

I have wide open NAT on two systems right next to one another in my house and it still took about half an hour to get into the same nightclub as one another last night. It will be in your transactions just search them on your stream account. If you bought it on Steam there will be a record of it there. As long as you are logging in on the same steam account on your pc, even if it's a totally new pc, all your games WILL be there, there is no real way they can't be. They're all tied to your account.

Just submitted a report about it but want to know if rockstar can do something about this: I was playing online a few minutes ago, when a cheater comes, puts me in a cage and starts spamming every action figure and other collectible in the game (I only had like 3 or 4 of each) the server was overloaded so i couldnt leave, alt f4 wasnt working for some reason so i recorded it and sent it to rockstar after which I closed the game using task manager. Now my question is, now that I've unwillingly leveled over 100 levels and gained 100k+ cash, can I request my account to be reverted to yesterday's progress? Cause I don't wanna get boosted like this.

are you playing in windowed borderless mode? you can turn off Pause Game on Focus Loss, in the settings, if you want to see the game move while tabbed out

With fullscreen, it'll freeze, then when I tab out it'll turn black and I gotta restart my pc. With windowed, it'll let me click story mode, but then it'll stop responding. When I tried windowed borderless, it just froze and I had to restart the game

Hi I have a question about the GTA V singleplayer grahpics.

I am currently playing GTA V as a police officer with a mod called LSPDFR.

I've changed a lot of graphics settings to maximize my performance & gameplay, trying to find a balance between those two. There are a lot of different opinions on the internet about what settings is right. I see youtubers with a worse PC than mine running graphics mod and streaming in 4K while I'm sitting here with a gamer pc struggling with 80 FPS (50 while rec.) What are the best graphics settings? And something I found wired is that when I put a certain thing on high, it boosts my FPS. It's a jungle for me and I can't figure out what to put on high and what not to.

you probably have a lot of things there, that's becasue temp files are called temporary files which old proccess that were used and cached them into the temp folder. and when you delete it, most likely it will fix some of your problems.

if your spawn location is set to your apartment or some other building you have to spawn in, then it doesnt matter where you leave the game, it won't load when you try to join a public server, when you try to jion an invite only session(private session) you can spawn in any location you want with a 30 second load time

Hello, i have stutter issue on GTA5.
I need help, followed a couple of videos on youtube, none worked. Drivers is up to date, Settings is around medium. Grass is sett to Normal. V-sync is off in the game AND in nvidia controllpanel.

Ive just moved from xbox to laptop so downloaded gta ready to try a bunch of mods and have fun with the game. My intention is to use controller as i dont have a clue how to use keyboard and mouse yet. Set it up control connected threw bluetooth cool. Playing the start of story( not playing online not interested this far onto it) get past franklin and lamar jackin 2

So decided have a look at mods see what would be fun. Install a couple i see on youtube lovin it. Go back to the game load it up quick time mods are on looks good im thinking lets do it! Go to walk forward out franklins house and my buttons are f**ked as i start pulling the phone out everytime i walk forward.

I click the left analog to crouch and it minimizes the game to windows desktop and bring a gta graphic keyboard as if to search. So close that bring game back up try to sprint and everytime i press A it starts record stops record starts record use get the picture. Ive tried uninstallin and reinstalling thats not worked.

I done the same to OpenIV thats not fixed it. Ive reset setting to default nope. Anytime i try to calibrate the controller I try pressing A and it does nothing. Also ive just bought a new wired xbox/pc controller and same problem.

All drivers for controller are upto date. I have searched for anything thatll help online and come up trumps so if youve made it this far help a brother out!! Ive been at this for 5 days now just want to play some GTA and chill
