you can use something like msi afterburner + hwinfo64 to see the cpu temps and gpu temps together.
you can do a stress test of both cpu and gpu. also a graphics test in gta. just see if anything trigger it.

so i previously had the ps4 gta and upgraded to ps5 version right and for context i owned a nightclub in the ps4 version and when i got the gta ps5 version i chose the nightclub club career and it made me buy another nightclub but now when i go to do the gta introduction mission when the game tells me to ‘go to your nightclub’ theres no nightclub on the map. I’ve tried everything and researched the issue but couldnt see anyone else having it. I even contacted customer support with Rockstar and they sent me grammatically incorrect emails and i was just repeating myself a lot it felt super unprofessional

you haven't lost the item, it just is missing because it is missing in your inventory and your inventory isn't being reset unless you relaunch the game

this is the same reason why any guns you get from a modder also vanish when you restart the game

The issue with that is since I was young and kinda poor I bought the game's code from g2a. Alright.My issue is that the game will crash around after around an hour of gameplay, but an exception is made if i go into a shootout, as the game will crash after just 20 MINUTES if im in a tense 5 star shootout with cops.

hi, i've been having some problems with my GTA V and im not sure if anyone can help me with this because i have tried absolutely everything and nothing seems to help but i thought i'd give it a shot anyway. i have GTA V on Epic Games, i have never had any problems with and it has worked perfectly fine ever since i got it but when i tried to launch it yesterday i couldn't get into Rockstar Games Launcher for whatever reason. it was loading for a while and then a window popped up that said Rockstar Games Launcher needs an update, but when i press the "update" button it loads for a bit and then the exact same window pops up again. i have been at this all day and im ready to give up and buy the game on steam lmfao but if anyone has a suggestion on what to do i would gladly appreciate it

@atomic gale have you tried optimizing the game via nvidia xperience? if not, try that, just put the res on 1920x1080 in game. you can also try putting desktop on that res before starting the game on same res

hi, i've been having some problems with my GTA V and im not sure if anyone can help me with this because i have tried absolutely everything and nothing seems to help but i thought i'd give it a shot anyway. i have GTA V on Epic Games, i have never had any problems with and it has worked perfectly fine ever since i got it but when i tried to launch it yesterday i couldn't get into Rockstar Games Launcher for whatever reason. it was loading for a while and then a window popped up that said Rockstar Games Launcher needs an update, but when i press the "update" button it loads for a bit and then the exact same window pops up again. i have been at this all day and im ready to give up and buy the game on steam lmfao but if anyone has a suggestion on what to do i would gladly appreciate it

i ran a stress test on gpu in order to try recreating the crash to see if its performance but it didnt do anything, even when it was using 100% of its power

its not an error per se its just the game randomly freezing and then closing

#

it doesnt stutter at all nor does it ever lag spike, its always buttery smooth 60 fps with vsync, but it will freeze and then close randomly while im playing the game

usually it does that when im in a 5 star wanted firefight with like 20 cops trying to come at me all at once and like 25 dead bodies on the ground

sometimes for fun i go into ammunations and just camp there while fighting off cops, and it happens then most of the time

either it will happen during the shootout or after i die and go to the hospaital

but usually its guaranteed to happen during a shootout or after an hour of regular play

@atomic gale I don't think resetting will help you considering that you can't even view the CPU temp and it's a pre-bulit so most likely you're using single channel RAM and they didn't bother to include a CPU temp connection and since GTAV isn't the only game that did this then your setup is the issue here and it could be the pre installed windows but 80% it won't be

i crash after 1 hour uusally but this can be shortened if i get in a shootout with cops, as it usually crashes mid shootout.

i have done a bunch of solutions, none of which proved fruitful, such as paging file increase, wiping my drivers clean and reinstalling, disabling antivirus, using sfc/scannow, downloading visual c++ reindsistributables, and many more

ok so basically a person i met on this very channel told me to go to commandline.txt

and then change the thing to -safemode

which makes u have the lowest settings possible in gta

and i learned that vsync being on isnt the lowest, but making it half actually is

and somehow making vsync half just fixed all my crashes(or so it seems)

look in task manager for gta5.exe, and kill it when exiting game, im not sure why it isnt stopping when exiting game, but do that or restart pc every time you wanna play gta 5

Hmm, whats your configuration? In online, the game reduces the fps so that you can have better performance, so maybe its that? Does it ever go over 60? (61, 65 etc.) Or is it capped at 60

Or you could check the display settings on windows, maybe your monitor is set to 60hz, even tho its a 165hz monitor...tbh that was the most common reason, you can look that up on yt

atomic gale and somehow making vsync half just fixed all my crashes(or so it seems)

same for my friend, just turn vsync to half before you start heist/setup and change it back to ur used setting when the mission started, little annoying IMO but better than always crashing out and not even able to play the missions

At 188 which is the highest FPS you can get the engine starts having a bottleneck and starts stuttering because it can't keep up
