Whenever I start the game on ps4. I get the Rockstar brightness “clear cache” thingy. And i have my settings reset.
This is a very common issue on console

This issue happens cause of bad controller. So whenever i start gta, I hold the ps button to open PS Quick menu. whatever is pressed on controller then isn't felt by the game. When it start loading screen i close the quick menu.
Should be the same workaround for xbox.

and then when I try again I get "Servers are unavailable" or something similar. It is clearly net problems. I tried restarting router, waiting 20 mins after turning off router, changing dns, restarting ps4.   Why does the issue happen?: The issue happens due to unknown reasons, it indicates that you've been blocked from accessing Social Club related sites linked with your IP address, etc. This guide will try to help you with resolving the issue with various different solutions.

You can also try the IP Blacklist Database Check to check any blacklisted DNS servers linked with your connection, but the issue could persist even without any blacklisted connections.

You might recieve one of these errors due to the issue (Includes screenshots):

• The rockstar games services are unavaliable right now

• Files required to play GTA Online could not be downloaded from the Rockstar Games Service

• Your save data could not be loaded from the Rockstar Games Service

• Unable to load Social Club websites

• Offline Mode: sign-in fallback failed

• Offline Mode: could not establish connection in Rockstar Games Launcher

• Activation data could not be loaded while in Offline Mode

• Social Club failed to start because of an incomplete installation

• GTAV is offline when opening the Social Club menu

• Social Club failed to intiliaize

• Possible solutions:
  1 - Try restarting your router: This may help in obtaining a new IP address as mentioned before in the introduction, However this process is different depending on ISP or router configuration. Which is why it's recommended to shut down your router for 1 hour or 30 minutes then boot up to get a consistent result.

2 - Try to use a different internet connection: Using a different internet connection such as a Hotspot, might help with obtaining a different IP address since it's running on a different configuration.

5 - Use a VPN: a VPN can help with changing your IP address reliably, However there might be some issues while using a VPN for more information use !vpn. There isn't a direct way to use it on console so a custom DNS is more recommended, but it might be required to contact Rockstar Support with it on other devices if you're unable to access their site.

6 - Contact Rockstar Support: They might be able to unblock your connection. You can contact them here, But if you're unable to access their site you might need to use a VPN from the previous solution.

you have to change your setting to alternate fps2 for both and then go into your setting then enter accessibility then go down to button assessment then change your R2 to R1 and your L2 to L1 That should fix everything because that happened to me also youll drive with R1 and L1 and shoot with R2 and L2 aim

i have an i7 7700 and a gtx 1050ti and 8gb 2666 mhz In gta online (the only game i play) im getting about 60-70 fps on high shader settings and normal textures with dx11 and fxaa on, but my cpu usage is nowhere over 55% and gpu doesnt cross 60%, and ive seen many ppl using better settings with the same specs getting more fps and their gpu usage at 100%. The hardware might be too old to reliably support the game.
