I use iirc fmj or ap rounds on my special carbine, but it's my "stealth" weapon so I almost never use it. E rounds on the shotty and sniper. Normal ammo for the combat mg.

I think all the other MK2 guns have fmj ammo tbh, I jus threw it on all of em for shits and giggles, but they're hidden anyway so doesn't matter.

Most missions now refill your ammo afterwards so I almost never have to buy sniper rounds, which is the only mk2 ammo I really use. Almost never use the shotty.

If you can get some kinda heist location bought you can do that for more money but it gets kinda repetitive
