It's fine to do it with others. Did you finish it and get the pilot to fly you back? That saves the progress. On future Gather Intel runs, you can just start a new session when you're done scoping. Maybe try following a YouTube guide.

   On first time it will make you like 1.7m and will take few hours but then if you want to replay it it will give you 1m for <1.5 hour of work

2. Payphone hits give you like 45k for a 2 minute long, freeroam mission, you can call Franklin to request one, they have like a 5 minute cooldown (i dont remember)

3. Security contracts pay you ~45k for few minute long freeroam missions

4. Safe that will automatically give you money every 48minutes, the more security contracts you do, the more money gets added to the safe every 48minutes (theres a cap up to 20k after you do 200 missions)

I like the Career Progress challenges, HSW vehicles and menu option for moving vehicles between garages on Enhanced. Some people like the access to GTA+. No opinion about the better graphics and animals in free-roam. Hopefully text chat will be added sometime. Fewer modders in public so far.
