For example I deliver 5 out of 10 acid packages and I fear I’m about to get griefed so I leave the lobby. Would I get paid for the 5 I delivered and lose the usual 5 percent of my remaining stock? Or would I lose the 5 shipments I delivered altogether as well as the 5 percent stock penalty

So I'm currently doing the Criminal Mastermind challenge with my friends, and one of us died earlier on. The heist's host was the only one to quit the game in time to save the run, and his progress kept on going afterwards, while mine's been at 0 ever since I started checking.

Does this mean that the host is currently the only one who's still in the challenge and ours has been reset the entire time, or will it still count for everyone because someone's counter is still going up?

I'm also asking if that means that EVERYONE has to quit the game to save their own individual runs whenever someone dies, not just the host.

Only the host's CMM progress is intact. Everyone needs to disconnect to retain their progress. If a death is in a vehicle, it is instantly registered and disconnecting will not save that player's progress from resetting.

It did take place in a personal vehicle, although the vehicle itself was not destroyed. The host quit the game while the rest of us quit to freemode and restarted from there, the host's progress still increasing.

To sum it up, does this basically mean that everyone but the host's progress on the challenge is void as of now?

You can only go by what the game says.

If you’re playing with randoms then it’s not a bad idea. Decreases the chance of people messing up as they can easily kill the guard before alerting the whole Casino

hello everyone, i'm really new to GTA Online and something is a bit confusing to me.
I purposely made myself "broke" in the game to start from scratch and grind my way up.
Yesterday i talked to the NPC Vincent and did the first mission.
It started a whole cinematic etc...
Today i wanted to see what the "ROCKSTAR MISSIONS" are (in the menus). And it took me automatically to some mission where i had to still a Terabite truck.
Vincent was "on the phone" with us and guiding us.
What i'm not sure about is, by doing this "Rockstar Missions", did i just skip a whole story line maybe ??

i dont know if i should do missions that way, as they are just independant missions maybe, or should i just go to the Yellow Letters on the map to start the story lines ?
All i want is to do the missions without skipping chapters etc...

There’s not 3 guards there is there? Regardless climb over the wall close to the building opposite the shack, shoot the guard on the balcony of other place, destroy camera, that’s it.

Make sure guard patrolling on road isn’t nearby if using cutting torch as he can hear it
