If I understand correctly, if you don’t buy the staff upgrade, you’ll get 20k every 48 minutes as long as you’ve done a tow truck mission recently. The only difference is that if you’ve bought the staff upgrade, you’ll get 24k every 48 minutes, and it also reduces the time it takes to dismantle the car for parts
The staff upgrade costs 700k, and the payout difference is 4k. So, 700k ÷ 4k * 48 ÷ 60 = 140 hours. Doesn’t really seem worth buying, does it?

It happened on a massive scale about 2 years ago. They call it the garage glitch. And most of the time it happens when a update occurs. I've been playing since day one I've never had it happen to me but I've seen it happened to other players. I suggest people to write their vehicles down where. Rockstar will not reimburse it you don't have a list. They gave me 50 cars. In about 20 ml reimburse. Doesn't cover the upgrades for the vehicles though.

You pressed Ctrl-F9 during the finale and saw the No Saving Mode On notification? You pressed Ctrl-F12 at the Main Menu or in Story Mode after the finale? If yes to both, you should test the script again in free-roam to make sure it's preventing progress from being saved. It could be some firewall or antivirus besides Windows Defender is interfering.

The Phantom Wedge mission in particular is the fastest. Two trucks, each with a single delivery.
