In Cayo Perico, I've been trying to figure out how to stealthily get into the lockups at the North Dock. I saw a video where they grabbed bolt cutters and a disguise. However, when I did my run they weren't there. I'm pretty new and don't understand how everything works. Did they get moved or something?

Yes, for the First Dose Missions, you get the Freakshop Unlocked and the Acid Lab.

So I recently started the Dr Dre contract and I'm on one of the first missions where I need to go to this nightclub. Well on the way I saw a message pop up saying that it could help if I could steal this cleaning van. I figured it didn't pop up on my minimap as intended because I flew there in a helicopter (I looked up how to find it). So I thought I would just start the mission over with a new session. Unfortunately, now the mission still says it's in progress but I don't even remember where the nightclub is. Is there some way to reset the mission or continue it or something? I'm at a loss.

Basically, my Agency computer says the mission is "pending" but I have nothing on my map to indicate where to go.

I've only been playing this game for a few days. So I figure I may just been missing something.

Is it possible to play GTA Online with a sort of solo roleplay mindset? Like, I’m not talking about actual RP servers (I’m on console and can’t afford a PC, so that’s not an option), but more about approaching the game in a narrative way. I’ve been thinking about starting fresh, no grinding for fast money, but instead playing as a character who’s just arrived in Los Santos and slowly builds a criminal career. Starting with legal jobs, deliveries, maybe working for others, then getting into street-level crime like car thefts or low-level missions, and slowly working my way up to more serious stuff like biker work, CEO missions, and eventually heists. I’m looking for a way to make the experience feel immersive and like a real progression. Has anyone tried something like this? What missions or paths would make sense to follow for that kind of evolution? After years of just grinding for millions, I want to try something different. Hello everyone. I purchased the motorcycle Clubhouse cocaine factory because I was told it was quite lucrative and I can see that the sell contract is for a lot, but the problem is it has 4 vehicles that are very slow. And I'm a solo player, so it takes a very long time to deliver them all. It's really quite frustrating and boring. Am I doing something wrong? Or was this just not meant for solo players And I misinterpreted things. I was thinking about cargo bobbing some of the vehicles but you have to be in them to deliver. I've asked for help in public lobbies and people do join but it either gets blown up or they drive it into the water and destroy it. I am out of ideas, any advice appreciated

Further follow-up information from Rockstar Support. They confirmed with me that simply being there at the van spawn point can be the reason why the Packie random event ends early.

As they stated, the event trigger and everything tied to its random event is very sensitive.

Can anyone else try this as well and let me know if on their game this works too?

I’ll be trying it shortly, but I have very little faith that it will actually work, despite being a further distance away from the time it spawns.

The one part that I’m still unsure about is if they also include “npc vehicles driving on the road when the event triggers” as part of the “no vehicles on the van’s driving path”.

If it includes npc vehicles that are just normally driving, that would make this virtually impossible. I would literally have to block traffic on both sides from the opposite end of where the vans’ path is, while also making sure that the npc vehicles don’t try to “drive around the traffic jam”, so that there would be zero cars riding along the route.

and I heard it must be a CPU issue but when I saw my cpu usage was around 30 to 35% sometimes even less like 25%

and the frame drop only happens when I am outside if I am inside my house, garage or anyother indoor place I get my normal fps around 100 to 110

Naturally outside is where most of the action happens and the stress on your cpu would be.

You may want to re-apply thermal paste to your cpu if it’s been a while, give it time to settle, and then see how it performs after that.

There’s several other troubleshooting methods you can do, however that would be the ideal first step if you’re seeing that significant of a frame rate drop, and that wasn’t the case before (assuming you haven’t recently switched any hardware ofc).

What are you specs? I would not look at thermalpaste yet personally, quite a hastle and not really something that explains the problem, if you have thermal issues you would see frame drops far more often and more coherently

I would just look at drivers etc first and foremost and just the verifying the game files

They did specify that they did not previously have this issue until recently, I assumed they already checked to make sure their graphics drivers are all up to date before reaching out here.

My AMD drivers are set to automatically check and update every night at the same time (if applicable), however I do manually check once a week in case it decides to just “not”.

(Yes I play on PS, however as a PC user who built their own rig from the ground up with custom parts, I can still provide input).

Yes, and yes you can do free mode missions.

Any money that would be taken out for the mechanic and businesses would be taken out after the free mode mission is complete (if it is that time for them to take it out).

Just do car wash and other free mode missions for an hour and wait for it to say the mechanic took money out from you.

Pause Menu -> Info -> bottom tab iirc will keep that info for you to see if you missed when it said the mechanic took money out from you.

nice laptop, specs pretty similair to my desktop and that does seem to go together with the performacne you normally have, laptops are a bit more sensitive for overheating so I would say put the vaquum on the air in and outlets, lets see if it has accumulated too much dust but the issue still seems a bit to specific for that to be the issue, you could download some light testing program like furmark and coretemp, furmark to push the gpu and see if it gets so hot that it throttles, coretemp to see if those temperatures get too high during gameplay, but yeah first I would just look at drivers.

Oh also you could try putting DLSS on performance (or ultra performance if that is a thing) to put all the load on the cpu first and see if it still has this issue in game, I would do that first actually
