That's probably not correct either, since I used to peek at the primary loot and then restart the prep (without canceling) and get different loot. But, it is correct that you would not get the better odds waiting 72 hours if you already paid the setup fee.

I haven't played these in a very long time, but if remember well there are 2 modes that i know, one mode is 4 teams, and the colors could be any combo of orange, purple, pink or green

and the other is 2 teams, purple vs orange

the 4 teams mod i think got deleted from the game

The 4 teams mode the matches were hosted in the casino or Avons facility meanwhile the 2 teams mode ( orange vs purp ) was out door
