It’s cause they’ve been heavily catering towards solo players since 2020ish as they realized that where either a good chunk or majority of their player base lies

No matter what they do to incentivize co-op play, you’ll always have a large group of solo players who absolutely refuse to find other people to play with and would rather just not play the game. And they figured that out once they released Cayo

If they want to incentivize co-op, they should make it fair and have everyone receive the same payout (say, every one who did Clucking Bell gets their 500k). I wouldn't mind a decreased payout as long as everyone got it (say 300k)

Everyone is still putting on their own weight and everyone's time has as much value as the leader's.
