2 separate games basically. If you got new gen version, you can migrate your last gen character to new gen, but once you do that they become 2 separate saves. If 1 earns 10m it will not appear on the other versions character and vise versa.

You keep everything on last gen, it just makes a copy of your shit and moves it to new gen ^
