Yep. The only way to fix this is first by recovering your original email by contacting google, then you need to contact steam afterwards to see if they can recover it for you. Once you got that, you might be able to get either steam or rockstar to unlink the random account

Invite-only works, but on PC at least recently there's been a bug - a private session error sometimes when people try to join invite-only sessions or set-ups/heists. Closed-friends sessions seem a little better.

I think you can trip skip on set-ups. I don't remember if you're offered the option on the finales, but that would disqualify you from getting elite (not a CMM requirement) I've read, so I guess you probably are given the option.
