Since the game is p2p and doesn't rely on servers the mechanism looks for any host with an active session

It's not a region based host so it will just join the best host it finds

nightshark armor plating is bulletproof, including from fmj, but only for the front and rear windows. side ones are still completely exposed, and are only cosmetic. front and rear also have slits you can be shot through

Demolition has to be the leader telling what everyone has to do.

Trying to do a criminal mastermind run and using the reset glitch when needed.

However, this part online affects me. It doesn't work for me some of the time.
I get out of the game and enter the ps5 console screen and close the application ASAP. Then I log back into GTA and my progress has been reset but not others.

This occurs when I've been the host and when someone else from the same country and city (Melbourne, Australia).

The heist prep missions are run in a private lobby as well

Is there anything I can do differently to ensure that my progress doesn't get reset

Way too many changes

First there was a big nerf to the payout and guards can see dead bodies and a bunch of wallbreaches were fixed and solo cooldown was increased to 144 min and if the heist is replayed within 72 hours the chances of a good target decrease

I'm sure you're familiar with most of these but those are all the most notable changes made to the heist throughout its cycle
