Best thing to do if you're hunting these, is find a time locked mission, and just drive back and forth around Grove Street.
You'll get tons.

Same applies to any other street spawned customized vehicles you're hunting as they'll all spawn at specific times, in specific places.

The Grove gang vehicles will spawn at any time, but more commonly spawn at night.

So, if we're just going off things that spawn around Grove, you got the 3 gangs.
They all spawn the same cars IIRC (Manana, Peyote and Buccaneer), but in the colours of their gang.

Vagos: Yellow
Ballas: Purple
Families: Green

Night time will spawn them more commonly, but they all also spawn at daytime occasionally.

The peyotes do spawn with tiger print seats when you get the gang variants, compared to the plain seats in the purchased / stolen variants. But the rest are the same I think.

They can be quite fun to hunt, but there are other cars that are more worth it if you're stealing to sell, but if it's for a collection, the peyote is a cool thing to find.
