I got banned myself smooth brain, if it was a proper ban i'd get an email and a damn message inagme saying im suspended/permabanned. Shadow ban just prevents u from connecting to online for 24-48 hours without any explicit message

Shadow ban isnt given by rockstar and doesnt treat it as a proper ban. Gtao now waits for authorization from battleye each time u try to join a session. If battleye detects suspicious activity on ur account it'll just deauthorize and rockstar wont let u play online
