Verify your game files and retry launching the game into story mode
If that doesn't work, clearing your profiles folder can fix this error as well as it typically relates to a setting as well sometimes
Documents > Rockstar games > GTAV / GTAV enhanced > Profiles > (delete the folders inside but not the profiles folder itself), then try relaunching again

You can't use external controllers like that for gta, there are addons for story mode that use the control config for steering wheels and petals but you can't do that for online, as battleye will probably shut you down
