The acid lab and nightclub are the best passive business options aside from the safes. The kosatka is the vessel you need to gain access to purchasing in order to do the best active option in the game, and the sparrow is a bare bones small and somewhat fragile but fast and spawns near you helicopter that you can use during the set up missions that you can access through an optional upgrade in the submarine.

one example off the top of my head is when you pick up the plasma cutter for cayo, mk2 can get in the alleys to grab it without getting off where as the sparrow you need to land and get out and run over
