How to go AFK without needing to ruin your controller (works on ps4/5 controllers only)

1. Open the Internet on your phone while on foot
2. Put your finger on the touch pad and move it across left and right which makes the in game cursor move
3. Do that for a few seconds
4. Stop moving and press Triangle which closes the phone
5. Make sure you dont touch or move the character in anyway. Best to just leave the controller alone
6. If your character doesnt go into cinematic mode while afk, it has worked. If not, just repeat from 1. again.

There is an on-going bug affecting PC only where the Casino Heist will kick players after reaching the mantrap tunnel.

You can prevent yourself from being kicked by going to Settings > Graphics then set VSync to Half and enable 60Hz refresh rate. This will enable a 30fps cap which prevents the bug from happening.

Note: All players must use the following graphics settings to cap their fps to 30

You can also use apps like RTSS (RivaTuner Statistics Server) to setup a hotkey to cap GTA5.exe to 30fps.

Alternatively, the bug seems less likely to happen when there are more than 2 players in the heist.
