Yeah but that wasn’t just a “one dude left the writing team” situation.
Multiple lead developers left on top of reports of general poor management.
They also had to try and optimize the game for last gen consoles at the time which was a near impossible task for the time they had.

Rockstar also has like almost 10x the amount of manpower that CDPR has so losing one person shouldn’t be as impactful as it was for them.
