and that fan role is overwriting the permissions and the only way to stop it is setting that role's send message permission on default

however if everyone role has it on denied they wont be able to send messages therefore set it on default as well

if you hid the channels for unverified ppl then this wont cause any problems for your verification system

then change the settings as i told above it'll fix your issue

they cant send messages if they cant see the channels so nothing will be broken
