You can do both at the same time - be on voice channel and chatting on a text
Gaining xp works like you get from 10 to 40 xp each time you send a message and have a cooldown for 2-5 minutes to avoid spamming. So once you send a message you gain some xp and have a cooldown, during this no matter how many messages you write you will not get xp for them, only after this cooldown your next message sent will give you some xp
For voice levels its pretty the same, the only difference is that you gain slightly different amounts of xp

Hey, I disabled a few of the feature, and was surprised to still see the corresponding commands in my server. After I realized that the commands still have separate toggles, I disabled those as well, yet the commands are still visible and accessible in the server. Does it just take some time for Probot to propagate the application command removal into the server? Or am I missing some sync button somewhere

Hello, first you need to create and send an embed - https://docs.probot.io/docs/modules/embed - this is pretty easy, just create one, fill out the fields, click send and choose a channel. Once you done it, head to the self assignable roles, choose embed message that you just sent, add some reactions and assign a role for each of them

Alright. So I have been trying to get self-assignable roles. And I am wondering if I'm doing it wrong.
I go to the Embed Message page. And create the embed message. And send it to the intended channel. Then I go to the self-assignable roles page.
And set that up. And make sure that I got the right embed and the correct message. And when I am done. I save it. But I don't see any visible differences. Doesn't show me the menu for selecting the roles i set up.

If I am supposed to do something else or just doing something wrong, then can someone guide me and tell me what I am meant to do? I recall it working the last time I tried. But for some reason its hasnt been working for me yesterday or today. So I am feeling something either changed or I'm doing something wrong.
