hello, i would require some help and i cant really find it anywhere else, about the leveling feature, the bot behaves weirdly. yes, it is above all roles, and yes, it has all permissions.
the issues are

• even if i enabled replace rol with higher one, this doesnt happen, they all stack
• people are getting random roles and leveling up too fast or just ping pong around roles weirdly every few messages they send
• i dont actually understand how the rol names work because it says "you climbed from level 0 to 1" or "to level 1 to 2" and those arent the names of the roles
• the setlevel command behaves weirdly as well, i try to put myself the highest level to get the latest level rol, but i still get a really low one, so i kind of dont understand how those levels work
• and overall how does this feature even work? is there a tutorial or wiki with some extended explanation? because what shows in the website isnt enough and everyone is extremely confused at this

So me and a bud of mine tried to setup the self assignment roles and it all works well except for that when people react to it they don't get the role but if they remove their reaction the role gets taken away as it should be (it is set on the toggle mode, changing it to only give mode doesn't give the role as well) so now we are rather confused as to why it just doesn't work, we tried troubleshooting it but couldn't get it to work.

The role that is supposed to be given only allows access to a hidden channel to chat in, otherwise the same perm as everyone would have.

Can anyone help us with this?

In most cases, such as mute and ban, the bot will not send messages in DMs. Except for warn, when they are warned, they will receive a message in DMs, and you can view and specify users' warnings by using the /warnings command.

@sage flint It was indeed the hierarchy issue, however I'm guessing because of the way the bot works, even when the user gets the role they're taken to the open available channel for everyone rather than the one the invite points to but thats okay

Well, you don't have permissions to use application commands. Server admin have to go to server settings > integrations > Probot and make sure users has permissions to use those commands and if its not blocked on channels. Also you need "Use Application Commands" permission in role setting or in channels overwrite

Hey All, I'm having issues with the ProBot in one of our servers. It seems the Bot took over the server and even Admin & Server owner can't remove it; it's creating many many roles "Muted" for no reason and without being propped and the Remove Integration option is greyed out for all

I checked the logs, but no-one has tried changing the muted role. It just took over

and now even being admin or owner we can't remove it or stop it

I have a problem with auto roles. So the probot role is over the role i want to give new user when they join and the role dont have admin but the probot wont give new users the role only to bots
