Ya'll denied smaller servers data restoration for a "bug" with the server levels a couple months ago and now you're just gonna reset all of the data for everyone. Actually a masterful way to tank the userbase of your bot. "Sustainability" just went down the drain.

Forcing users to be on a subscription after YEARS worth of data that had to be manually added back by server owners in this economy is criminal.

We literally had to pull out calculators to add XP earned + old XP restored from old level checks from our users in a 6K member server. Finally got all of that data MANUALLY restored and now you're just wiping it again after saying "This wont happen again!" a couple months back. Pathetic bot business man.

That is probably the point of changing it to premium. They notice so many servers are using levels without premium. So their thought process would be something similar to: "Lets update it so Levels is now a premium function. Some people will buy premium to keep the levels"

They probably also know there will be people just removing it. Just they don't know how big that number truly is going to be.

I see a lot criticising the bot, which I sincerely want to say, it is not necessary to criticise the bot. They have the right and choice to go premium. While, I understand it is hard for many to accept, please understand their personal reasons too.

• If members choose to pay and continue using the bot, may go ahead to do so.

• If members choose to change bots, please go ahead to do so.

I understand, the issue of having many servers to do double work, like remove bots, add new bots and so. Many here will have to learn new bots and maybe some of you want to make your own personal bots after seeing this kind of dissatisfaction.

While I understand all, Venting won't change the decisions of the management prior to the issue of this bot. Some of you are now looking for better suggestions of bots (or) better options. Some of you are still varying your options and I can certainly understand that. While the announcement was made in a short period, which did not give time for members to make decisions and so, I understand that this hinders operations in many servers. Announcements could have been done like between 2 to 3 months of grace period to make it fair for everyone.

However criticising the bot will get you nowhere while it could hit the minds of the management slightly, it looks like they are not changing their decision. They are moving forward. Members can give your #feedbacks to the management about how you feel about the bot, but maybe let's not vent out as everyone here are humans too. We don't know what one might be going through and hard decisions are not the easiest ones to make, but they always come as the last options.

Not all of us can have the money to support the bot, but considering that previously the bot was free for basic moderations, I am sure if the bot had to go into premium, this was probably their last option. I am not sure of the case 100%, or why the bot chose to go premium. But if members are not happy, the best option would be to move bots.

I hope this message helps everyone.
