The "problem" with considering the effects of the Potion of Intense Emotions is that it is not guaranteed to be in the room. I reset the dungeon quite a few times to test that. After 6 resets the room had 2 Potion of Weakness. So, that essentially violates the "everything you need is in that room" comment

The later cipher was ascii x 253 mod 2004. to get backwards you use modular inverse 301 * number mod 2004 to get the ascii and letter - thats solved. but interestingly 80 also shifts cases if you use it in the fom ascii x 253 + 80 md 2004 - you en up lower case. and I know its just because space is 32 and the distance from A to a is 32 and 80*301 mod 2004 is 32 but its still sussed me. this is nonsense sorry

First thing that jumps out at me is there's some things with Yellow tooltip and some with Green, yellow being the books and notes. So what if they are the cipher, like take the capital letters (EDDRJPBGDRHUJLHC) and plug them in?

I don't think Josh's clue NECESSARILY means that something is removed from the clue. But it's definitely one of the interpretations on the table.

every cipher I've seen applied to the text makes it look less like plaintext rather than more which is why I don't think it's been ciphered

I'm trying to take a look around the room and think, "What's going on in here, what happened in this room" Trying to look at the placement of skeletons, placement of interactable stuff, placement of lore, etc and trying to figure out the story of the room...
