I honestly have the best luck farming mounts when it comes to bosses you can 1 shot. From an ex-programmers perspective, it's better to let the fight start, and run on for about 5-10 seconds and then kill the boss. Don't just one shot it. You never give the roll system a chance to start randomizing loot. You wouldn't walk up to a Las Vegas slot machine and pull the lever to start the slots and then instantly pull it again to stop it. These loot systems are ran the same way. Code says here's a list of items to choose from when the boss dies. And if you instantly kill the boss, you're never giving that counter a chance to cycle through

Anyone (any class) can use the Brazier of Awakening (from a treasure in WoD - Tanaan Jungle) when using the Scroll of the Doomguard in the 4 O'Clock step here. If people don't wanna have to walk a long way. Just tested it here and it worked, dropped the Brazier Beforehand, and 1-3s after I died from the Scroll, it popped a rez on me.

uhm. just for testing issues. i´m on that part noww with my Demonhunter and there is no demon around. but i can see the graffittis. Maybe does a DH count as a doomguard? Or doom in general?

make sure wicker is last in your lineup, so he gets two free heals. the only thing you need to be careful of is beating Jeremy in the undead phase which will not count as a win

I went to test if Lil'Kaz counted last night (he does not). I walked in summoned him and could see the graffiti ... then started getting spells cast at me from under the ground. There appeared to be a Doomguard stuck somewhere under the ground that was letting me see the graffiti. No idea how someone managed that. I could not target it but it could attack me.

Am I a noob or am I missing something something i have done everything upto pylon 3 and the script is telling "true" but i have no orb i have been back to uthers tomb numerous times but still not orb no 4. I tried the pet battle won but no quest i presume because no no 4 pylon ....can anyone help me pls 🙂 thanks

Is there no alternative to the Doomguard step to having multiple people present? The place is empty, so the Doomguard despawns if I use the scroll myself.

if you summon it while inside the vault you should get credit automatically. run this to check:

the tracking quest will complete automatically for them if they use the scroll inside the tomb building.

I also tested it on an alt, the doomguard was alive, the graffiti were up but quest was false

I clicked the graffiti, quest flagged as completed
