you can get it with no requirements

you don’t receive anything after completing an altar, but the collection spirit will disappear and your torch will quit channeling

once you have them all done is when the chest will pop up when you’re wearing your goggles

hey team it seems the hotfixes are through for the spirits of collection. players that have completed any altar can help on all INCLUDING shadow (i've tested and helped with my disguise)

additionally it mentions the spirits are more accepting, this likely means that some altars now accept more toys and or mounts that may be connected to their altars as some have noticed.

I have completed every torch prior to this and gotten the Relic of Crystal Connections, gone into the room in Karazhan, looked at every object there, and went to the altars; I summon my pets/transmogs at the appropriate altars, get a sound confirmation, but no emote thats apparently supposed to be there, and the void one is not sounding at all. The clue for the altars is unlocked in the room that you access using the teleport crystal from the vendor in Booty Bay.

all good, if you are certain that you have completed all orbs in catacombs prior to this i believe you - most likely explanation is you not have satisfied the conditions of the altars fully, probably missing some item

also make sure you torch is out and tethering with each altar as you complete it

for each alter you need to have "out" the collection that is relevant to that altar. So, all items need to be out at the same time around the altar. However, they dont all have to come from the same player, the completion for that altar is shared with all around it (e.g. one player can have 1 item from the collection each out

For the Succubus... you have to have a TABARD and a SHIRT... hidden.

But a lot of people don't have those on their characters.

Yes, it doesn't matter who has the items as long as each item is present. Just make sure both are channeling with the torch when using them.

Trying to do lust but nothing is working?

We are naked, have the pet and the book. We've relogged, exited the game, waited until "morning reset" @quaint violet

The orb goes after we summon the pet, we sometimes get the magnifying glass, the succubus stands on the altar but isn't completing. The other altars are "True" when we run the command, just lust and the chest that isn't.

getting naked doesnt work, you need to either use the moroes famous polish toy OR have a full hidden transmog (including a shirt and tabard)

I think spyglass means youve done one aprt/orb for that altar, only if the "something disappeared satisfied with blah" appears it counts

if the emote from the spirit does not happen, the pillar or light and all the orbs are done AND the script says false then you havent met its requirements

wait have you been to the catacombs before or did you mean to say you started the secret at the ZG altars?

I believe that the flag to see the catacombs portal are:

1. have the peculiar key in your bags (completed with the gem)
2. no legacy quests in your log that involve the catacombs (e.g. legion artifact quests or BFA wrathion catacombs quest)
3. have your torch of pyreth out at the door
