I killed the only eel you can tame - which is from this expansion - and it’s an enraging red color with electricity and all the yummy rook birb wants it could have - I brought that eel and a mob out there - let the mob kill the eel - and then Aradan just kept flying around without a care

there are 3 light nests where there are no birds and 2 birds escaped when the boss died, maybe there should have been 3 and the one Aradan is mourning over is from the 3rd light nest and the dark nests never had a bird in them.

You have to watch your threat.
Too much damage = too much threat generation = boss starts attacking you.
if/when boss does switch aggro to you, feign death.
While you have misdirect active on your pet blow as much damage into the boss as possible, because while MD is up all your threat is turned into your pet's threat.

Around coordinates 29.06 36.21 on Isle of Dorn, underwater, there is a lootable Void-scarred Stormhammer. Pick it up and run The Rookery up to the first boss (Kyrioss). From there, go down the hole in the middle and past Stormrider Vokmar, and up the stairs to the outside portion. Aradan will be to the left as you exit, flying around. Get somewhat close and use the hammer, causing Aradan to fly down and become neutral and tamable!
