Playing music from youtube is not allowed according to TOS. Thats fair and valid in my opinion. Now my question is, what are the allowed sources or is everything like soundcloud spotify ect not allowed ? (Just curious, dont wanna break TOS) Thanks in advance

I'm sure spotify allows it. However, youtube just shutdown all the bots that played music from them. But I saw a couple of popular bots, verified, that play only spotify musics.
The following stuff is my opinion
Spotify itself is not copyrighted, but some musics are. You will need to check yourself if they are or not. If they are, you should make something that prevents that getting played becasue discord can get sued for it and you would get banned

No, Spotify doesn’t even have an API for playback. So don’t know where your confidence in them allowing it comes from. Because they don’t

Most such bots use Spotify etc. only to search for tracks. And in the end still download via YouTube (while violating their TOS again)
