He can use others api, not YouTube tho

They can use any official API. It‘s just that most APIs (including YouTube) don‘t actually have an endpoint to get the actual audio stream.

lavalink is used to distribute the audio, not a source of actual audio itself ignore me. I’m wrong. It has support for TOS violations in it.
